  1. Appropriate emoji really ha ha.
  2. I doubt there is much thinking going on when anyone is in that much of the grip of any addiction, just the need to feed that addiction takes over. Psychology of addiction has bemused humanity since addiction was recognised in many forms. I'm certainly not the font of all knowledge regarding it. What i can say is that i am certain if he wasn't in the grip of addiction, his behaviour would almost certainly be different, addiction attacks people in many many different forms, there is not one size fits all approach, contrary to fashionable belief. If that were the case he would already be well imho, as he has had the best "fashionable" treatment money can buy. Its a downward spiral. Anyway, i wish him well, that all anyone can really do and just hope he comes round.
  3. I have no idea how i managed to get that emoji on the header to the post? must have clicked something? Don't know how to get rid of it lol:wtf:
  4. Had my smart card activated for it along with my niece, but with others being able to pay at the gate, just wondered what happened when they paid in? would they be issued a seat for example? otherwise i could walk up at 19.40 and someone is in my seat. Its no big deal, yes there will be plenty other seats, just curious what the procedure would be. Can't recall the last time i was at a game when i was in a stand where folk paid at the gate?
  5. Seen the movie JFK, and its a cracker, great story, i either don't know the background to it or I've forgotten so thanks for the details. I seen it a few years ago and its quite dark in places, also the humour is quite dark too which i enjoyed. To be fair, and i don't mean this in any way disrespectfully to Gazza, the character in the film we are discussing i don't think was as bad as they way Gazza appears. Everyone has their own demons i guess, i genuinely wish Gazza well, as ive said in other posts i don't drink now either for various reasons, i hope he hasn't given up on himself, he could certainly do without idiots with cameras that's for sure.
  6. I know this was mentioned in another post, i was just wondering if anyone knew what the procedure was for PATG at Ibrox now? As my ST is for BR what happens when you pay in? Do they allocate you a seat at the turnstile or do other bears just pay in and when we go up to our seats we have to ask someone to move as they may be sitting in our seat? Does anyone know? I really couldn't care just getting my excuses in as to what to say to an 8 year old as to why someone might be sitting in her seat:ohoh:
  7. That's fat man funny five bellies for yaaaaa ha ha! Wonder if their away kit will be blue this year???
  8. Wouldn't fancy my chances in front of that judge! Good grief, he could have let him finish his rehab course, after all, the judicial system is, unless I am mistaken, still based on rehabilitation? Hardly comforting in his situation the judges attitude. I'm not condoning the drink driving, just that the attitude of the judge is a bit draconian, its not as if he nipped off on holiday to miss the hearing.
  9. Disappointed at the reporting of the Waggy/Tav non issues. The two players happy at the club and more committed than ever. Says he is happy with the new signings and everything is looking good for the new season. Couldn't hide his contempt for some of the reporting of the Waggy/Tav issue imho. Very articulate and composed as usual in his press conference. Also said Dodo will sign tomorrow, Gilks, Hill, Windass, Hodson will start, JB will get half and hour tomorrow and I think he said Niko would start as well?
  10. Agree with just about everything you say Calscot, and at 80-85mns I was standing(nobody was sitting down) thinking the same thing about missed chances. If we are going to leave an open door at the back, we can't be going into the last 10-15mins of a match just 1-0 ahead, we need to be more clinical in front of goal. I would expect/hope that will come with time and sharpness.
  11. Same boat as you MacK. I normally take subway and PRW will be ridiculous! A lot of bears could do with the exercise ha ha lol:lol:
  12. Anyone know how many tickets have been sold? I had a look on the website seat plan and it dosnt look like many?
  13. The PR is usually chocca when the subway is ON, can you imagine now that's it's off how busy it will be! Sack that, I will just head over a bit early and grab a bite to eat with the neice.
  14. Totally agree with DB on the phone issue, I can only speak for myself in that yesterday I wasn't expecting the crap going into the ground and as I said was way up the back so no point in the ground. Every away game in future, everybody must have smartphones out so we have evidence. Re Ian's MOTM I would probably go for Waggy too, although wee Barrie had a good game also. Re attendance yesterday IIRC it was just 5k and something?(heard it over tannoy, think it was just under 6k) so we had 4k. Over 2/3 of their revenue and that's how we are made welcome.
  15. If that had been one of us today, with the ball carry on, no questions we would have been lifted! colinstein is bang on, the stewards and plod just growl. Searching young kids 100 meters away from the ground before letting them past. If I'm not mistaken it was thousands of Motherwell fans who invaded the pitch the last time we were there, so why the heave police presence and overzealous stewarding at our end??
  16. Worked ok when I clicked your link on here mate?
  17. Cheers for the goals link LG. Two cracking goals, now that I have seen them properly lol.
  18. Aye, I was three from the back and everyone was stood up for the game, getting old, my feet were killing me lol. Makes a change from my normal worms eye view that I seem to get a lot when I've been to away games in the past. We were treated like cattle today, stewarding staff are a disgrace, honestly still havnt properly seen the barriers down the front, didn't look, it's a long walk up to the top of that stand.
  19. Anyone got a link to any of the highlights of the goals? As I was right up the back, where we were sat we saw Tav and waggy strike the ball, havnt actually seen it hit the back of the net yet.
  20. Not at all Ian, I'm just conscious of our defence being very poor, it's opened up like a hot knife through butter. The football is great, I would like to add a bit of steel at the back though, there must be a happy medium between great football and poor defending?
  21. Waghorns on fire! Good result in the end, we will get caught at the back though.
  22. Back to the days of being penned in like animals!
  23. We all got a heavy search coming in to the ground, stewards everywhere. It's to stop US from going into the pitch!!
  24. I'm right up the back mate, can't see down the front??
