  1. Much more positive last 25 mins. Rossiter looks exceptional, quick, confident and commanding. Keirnan seemed a lot more at home with DW beside him. A lot of positions up for grabs and as it stands I feel Rossiter should start in front of JB if not both in first 11. We still need an accomplished CF as we are lacking a killer instinct. I would go with DW and RK at the back as they seem comfortable together. Today was a wake up call, that's for sure. No idea what our best 11 would be? Very impressed by Rossiter though.
  2. What are those two doing??? Hopeless dosnt cover it? Get a grip!!
  3. Agree we look sluggish and tbh I felt at times a little uninterested? Nothing I can really add to what's been said. Burnley are slicker and quicker in the very dept. We could lose another couple if we are not carefull. Hill is slow and Keirnan looks lost. Having said all that we did improve although I didn't really think we looked like scoring. Miller is well off the pace.
  4. We need a quality CH, pronto! That should have been no 3. Through the middle again. Abysmal.
  5. Scrap that, I reckon we are lucky to have 20-25k? Not really filling up. 1-0 down. Through the centre like a hot knife through butter.
  6. Very quiet in the stadium at mo, I'm hoping to see 20-25k, maybe more? Great to see Hill start?
  7. Cheers buster, I have rectified my error?
  8. I wish it was that incompetent Buster. I have a feeling it may be a more coordinated attempt to shift blame and muddy the waters. This investigation which is returning tomorrow I suspect will blame both sets of fans, and it will be nothing short of at best a whitewash, at worst a blatant cover up and distortion of the truth and facts. We have already seen The Police Federation make spurious allegations regarding Rangers supporters and children leaving the ground. In any other place we would not have had to wait this long, Hibs would have been fined and thrown out of this seasons Scottish Cup at the very least. We all wait with interest at tomorrow's outcome, however after recent events, I wouldn't be looking for the club to fight our corner if justice is not served.
  9. Just had a wee look at the stadium plan. It doesn't look great, I reckon it looks about 20k tickets sold, maybe less? I knew the club deck was closed however the Copland rear is stating not available too which is strange as I'm not aware its closed and it certainly isn't full. Also the main stand is showing not available in parts too?? All very strange?. I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow and it will be a good test against quality opposition. I enjoyed the preview Rousseau, very well written as always:thup:
  10. Yes, the penny has dropped MB. Secondary Ticketing would also come into play so the club could sell our seat again if we couldn't make it. Yes it makes sense to sell as much as we can up front, as Frankie pointed out I would still like to think that the Mhanky games apart, bears would still be able to get a ticket on match day if they wanted.
  11. One mans slanted opinion afforded a public platform in a tabloid tag. I don't buy the written media, i will make up my own mind on things and don't feel the need for someone without credentials forcing their unqualified opinion on me. I have only been posting here for a short while, now everyone knows I was at the CF with my eight year old niece. We were right at the front of the main stand. Luckily after the final whistle went I had taken my neice and my sister, who was there that day, immediately up the stair. We turned and noticed the thousands of Hibs fans invading the pitch. Now if I had decided to wait and applaud the team off and these idiots were running gesturing to an eight year old, if as had been reported they were spitting in her direction, if they were gesturing aggressively, if there actions were such that I or my sister felt she was in danger, and one of us decided, due to plod Scotland being useless, to encroach on to the park and challenge these individuals does that make us violent, drunk(I don't drink) unruly, unlawful etc etc. I think not, this particular article is fanning more flames by its various assumptions that are easily picked up on by those who wish to attack our club and support. I don't know this "journalist" therefore I will make up my own mind on him re his shoddy, high school journalism.
  12. Nail on head, chilled bear. They are assuming that, on the word of plod Scotland's alleged evidence that these guys were on the pitch and guilty. Show me the evidence. That's how this works IIRC?? Before any punishment is forthcoming. I understand Pete's point re suspension etc and I agree if it were in a place of work and it was deemed gross misconduct etc. These guys have allegedly according to plod committed a criminal offence, it is not their job to prove their innocence it is plods(I appreciate they are very good at it) job to show their guilt by providing evidence that supports the charge. No action of any sort should be taken in this until guilt or innocence is established. As has been stated, a lawyer would be all over this.
  13. I read the statement with interest. I am aware that there is something in the TCs re refunds however if these guys have not been convicted yet, how are we certain that it's not a case of mistaken identity, or plod, not for the first time, do not have enough evidence perhaps? In essence it seems these guys are being found guilty until proven innocent, that is unacceptable and not the conduct befitting of a national institution imo.
  14. This is brilliant lads! We are so ready for these Yahoos, so f*****g ready lol!!! Second is last, if we beat them on the last day again, by one point or better by goal difference (one of the best days of my life!) can you imagine? We would all have serious heart issues, we might even lose a few if they already have them ha ha lol.
  15. TBPH Oleg, that's what I have been alluding too. It's ok for all of us who have season tickets and that's fine, however I don't think it's too much to ask to leave 1-2k tickets aside for public sale each home game. We all know they will be sold and the club would actually make more money off them selling them individually than the ST. I do sympathise with you, I really don't see why we need more than 42k STs??. The remaining tickets would be sold and it also gives supporters who for one reason or another, don't have an ST, the chance to attend games when they are able to.
  16. Re Miller I remember reading Graham Roberts book and he absolutely slated the little weasel for stabbing him in the back at Clyde. He is as bitter as they come, rabid and foaming at the mouth. Does make you smile though, must be awful being him lol.
  17. I understand everyone's hesitation in running before we can walk, so to speak. However as a club and an institution we have never went into anything thinking or accepting second best. We are a fantastic side going forward who are able to cut open a defence at the drop of a hat. The only weakness we have is that within that attacking philosophy there lies the danger of a weak defence. As we stand I am extremely confident we can not only compete but will be challenging for the next title. It will be close, yes, and we will have a clearer indication after the first few weeks, however we have the talent, the strength in depth, and I firmly believe the fortitude and belief to win the title. We are The Rangers, second is last.
  18. I had really hoped our club was going to back up its statement however it seems it was just lip service. I can't say I'm surprised, although I'm unsure being arrested is cause for such draconian action. As D'Artagnan says there has been no verdict, which could be Not Guilty or Not Proven. It makes me wonder what is coming out of the Independent Report which I believe is due on 31/7 re cup final pitch invasion and disorder from 95% Hibs fans and subsequent lack of policing from plod Scotland and numerous failings from that particular institution.
  19. Cheers Pete, looking forward to it?
  20. Seat plan on website dosnt offer much hope of a sell out, looks like Burnley are bringing about 2k though. Hopefully we will get 30k overall by the time Saturday comes.
  21. Any game before October is fine for me Pete. Rangers v Motherwell pops out though.
  22. I like the look of that first eleven although I agree I think MW will go with DW and RK as the two at the back(hope he picks Hill but have a feeling he won't). I would give HF the benefit of the doubt as Miller won't play as much this season and Dodoo is yet to prove himself I feel to be put into our first home match to start. With BM/LW on the left and HF/JT on the right we are lethal down the flanks. AH and NK are both good box to box and we have JB as a holding midfielder. I would prefer CH at the back with RK however as i said I think he will plump for DW(gulp?). I would have to say Wes in goal as he has and is our first choice. Of course we have Waggy up front and I would give him a free role through the middle. I suspect with the exception of our dilemma in defence that is our strongest eleven and on paper looks a very attacking line up with a lot of quality going forward.
  23. Agree Bluedell I have and always will call it the Govan Stand and agree on it being named in haste. Have to add though that my neice always calls it the SJ stand, ok she is only 8 and it's her second season but my point is for a new generation coming to Ibrox it will always be known as the SJ stand. I'm seriously getting old guys, never thought it would happen, not to me lol!.
  24. They know, that we know, that they know, that they know(you follow? Lol) that they are all evacuating their bowels on a very unsocial level on a daily basis at the thought of us being back at the top. They are acutely aware things are changing, in the media they are finding it increasingly difficult to find "bad news" stories about us(let's keep it that way). They are sure as heck not going to publicise any good news stories re us, therefore in their own alternate universe the only logical conclusion is to pretend we are not there! Oh but wait? They tried that one............... Never forgive, Never forget.
