The Summer Transfer Rumour Round-up Thread
cooponthewing replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
No doubt BH, what a line up though! Thinking about it, and taking nothing for granted, would that line up be worth a start in the Betfred QF?? Have a proper go at QOTS at Ibrox. I've gone off topic, apologies. -

4-4-2 or 4-2-4 BH? Lol? The latter looks like a goal fest! -

I don't know a great deal about him except recognise the name and he has played down south. 6ft 3inch and looks like what we need. You would like to think at 31 he would be a good addition. -

I know 90% of footballers have a reputation for being at the lower end of the IQ scale, however, you would have to have serious issues aside from that to harbour aspirations of plying your trade in a country that is in social and political turmoil and has recently been involved in a bloody military coup!. I will give anyone the benefit of having enough scruples to refrain from accepting offers from a place, incase anyone has forgotten, players have recently had a nasty habit of not receiving their wages!!(if everything in my first paragraph wasn't enough?) Oh yeh, bombs and Syria just next door you might want to take on board too!! Body swerve it Tav, in fact run away!!! -
Anyone remember "shuggy" Munro scoring in a 1-1 draw at Ibrox back in the 80s? During big Jock Wallace second spell.

If someone had Said that to me in a boozer, two things might have happened. 1) I would have suffered a cardiac episode or 2) they would have suffered a cardiac episode ha ha lol. All kidding aside, you have to wonder?? 4th! Wow! Think a may have ran off in some form of hysteria or trauma induced psychosis lol.

[FT] Dundee 1 - 2 Rangers (Forrester 14; Miller 39)

The reason why some of us jump on the defence Ian is because we are mindful that the back four make mistakes on a regular basis. I havnt seen it as listening on the radio but it's another cross ball from a set piece, how many goals do we lose that way? I take it we all remember the CF? Has nothing been learned?? -

I'm out so havnt seen the formation. Is Rossiter and Barton sitting in front of the back four? Playing a 4-2-1-3 so to speak with Halliday supporting front three?? Anyway, it looks like a team set up with our defensive frailties in mind, Miller will also track back for the team where Dodoo is unproven in that regard. I'm not surprised by the team selection, I think MW is conscious we mustn't lose this. Wouldn't say I'm 100% in agreement with the selection but don't have a problem with it. -
Chris Sutton - Rangers looked to be closing the gap on Celtic but...

To be fair to him he's an ex employee of the club so he is always going to be pro unwashed. On balance though, it was a good piece and imo pretty accurate. -

Great work Moonlighter! You and those who assist in this great work are both a credit to yourself and the club. The memory of those who served their and our club will live long in the memory, with great dignity thanks to your efforts. -

On my travels using the phone so can't click "thanks" Pete, however, thanks Pete!. Balanced preview and a good read? I will have my preview up by Thursday next week for Motherwell game. -
Different days I suspect Calscot? It wasn't about the money so much. I remember back in the eighties being told by my grandfather to try and crawl under one of the new turnstiles in the govan stand, bad move, I got stuck lol
-
Great news. I thought he was looking sharp as a tac v Hamilton.
-
Spot on. Rossiter looks two yards quicker every time, physically and mentally.
-
I'm with Ian on that. I'm trying not to read to much into the Peterhead performance, one swallow dosnt make a summer etc. It was a welcome improvement just hope we see it continue. Will be good to see Crooks when he is fit too.
-
Only one I have got so far was the Motherwell game, first of the season. How many do we get allocated a season MacK?? It's my first year on CCC.
-
Has anyone been allocated a ticket for this game on the CCC yet??
-
I'm not that old, in my early forties, but still remember in the 80s when we were proper s***e and we had no money with crowds as low as 8k. I don't remember anyone back then sitting back and accepting second best, we understood we were p**h but nobody was happy finishing 2/3/4th. We have never accepted second best in our history. I am baffled as to why some fans would be happy to finish second?.

Have we definitely decided not to pursue any loan deal for Dom Ball? Did Spurs decide he wasn't for going out on loan again?
