Kilmarnock Football Club Supporters Association Statement â?? 16th June 2012
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Quite simply the diddy team supporters want us gone so they have a better chance of runners' up spot, or even better. But those who run the diddy teams know that money talks and they can't survive without us. -
tbh only one spokesperson has really impressed me since this whole debacle and it was Ross Blythe of the RSA. He spoke extremely well, got the balance between opinionated and impartial spot on, and made sense. This is not to slur Chris, but he is quite new to this and is doing a commendable job - but Blyte is experienced and I was impressed with what he had to say.

Oh brother, I stuck up for you when someone else called you a liar, and now you're calling me one. I regret giving you backup now and can see why this thread was aimed at you. I was even on the verge of stepping in when Craig slated you and demanded you stop trying to bully people. Bloody glad I didn't. He was spot on, in hindsight. I am done with you.
-
If it's 7 in favour and 5 against, we're out.
-
Timing I accept that the pattern is there, but in all honesty I think this proposal is designed to do the exact opposite.

Anyone? See above.

CHRIS GRAHAM - Charles Green doesnâ??t have to be pantomime villain
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Endorsement, I guess. He gave his endorsement to every single bidder Rangers got. -
Your post. And very interestingly it was explicitly aimed at you. I support him because: He can cover a wide variety of positions. He is willing to play for free and was a major component in the wage reduction, without which this club would no longer exist. You simply do not achieve a decade of experience in England's top flight plus dozens of caps for your country if you're a truly dire footballer. He was the major reason we did not lose the league to Celtic at Ibrox. We have no one better than him in the air. After all this time, he can still score goals. 'pish' 'waste of money'. Nope, you personally dislike him because there isn't a bear alive who would call him pish and a waste of money - yes, not Messi, but to suggest he couldn't get a game for Ross County is quite simply a lie. Not an intentional one, just an false and unfair opinion borne from a personal dislike of the man.

How would this proposal shaft Rangers?

CHRIS GRAHAM - Charles Green doesnâ??t have to be pantomime villain

Good piece but I disagree with: I'm not sure Ally ever backed him in any way - I don't actually think much has changed apart from The Gaffer coming along and changing the landscape a little. -
A really, really, really shite post to come out with. I know you don't rate him that highly, but it's clear you have a personal axe to grind with him.
-
Green stated in his original Press Conference that Ally was part of the plans. I can only imagine the two met and had a disagreement about Walter Smith or something else, which left Ally wondering if he wanted to stay. Remember, that article didn't say Green was going to fire Ally, just that Ally was contemplating his own future in light of the meeting. Now it seems they've smoothed it out and it's forgotten about.

I would be surprised now if this does not happen before next season.

Heard this as well. In short, this makes the SPL vote totally redundant if true. All teams would be newly registered with this new SFA league. I don't think Lawwell has anything to do with it, I think it's the SFA and SPL trying to make a new league to avoid the sheer chaos that is currently brewing over the Rangers situation.
-
It's been pretty overwhelming. Very few in favour of going straight back to the SPL.
-
Running a wee poll here - do you want SPL to reject or accept us?
-
So you've not been paid for any of your appearances? They're taking advantage of you!

SPL considering replacing Rangers with 'Team X' on 2012/13 fixture list
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
We can't play in the Conference as we're too big. That's what their chairmen said. Logistically impossible. -
Ha, good point. I forgot about that minor detail! Ok, if the vote goes through we can sign folk.

Let us all be friends. HA! -
Actually, yes we are. The transfer embargo applied to the old company. And was lifted anyway. The newco has no embargo issues at all, is not in debt, has no big tax case, and there is no logical reason why we cannot sign players.

You asked for him to show it being said. I showed you that. And you still harp on. Alas. -

Me and CG have had disagreements in the past, but he's on the money here. Don't call him a liar. -
Almost irrelevant now but it seems Rino has put pen and paper to join FC Sion.
