  1. In what way verified? And by whom?
  2. If this Green guy does buy us, what's wrong with it? I'm hearing pure negativity, so can someone put me up to speed on why his bid is a bad one? Ta
  3. What's he doing these days anyway? Last I heard he got shipped out of Gijon after a pretty crap time there, then they got relegated.
  4. Last time you came out with 'the truth' TB, and I'm not having a go - but you posted categorically that TBK were the preferred bidders. So you'll forgive my dubiety at any other similar type of claims that you, or anyone else tbh, has about this fiasco.
  5. 'Why am I here, HMRC said I'd merely failed to pay my energy bill'
  6. Someone tweeted that Kennedy has bought us. Probably nonsense but if true you heard it here first.
  7. Other half was out with her folks today going past Ibrox, and apparently a bunch of suits came out. Any idea who they might have been?
  8. Matthew Lindsay ‏ @MattLindsayET Just spoke to a former associate of Charles Green. Requested anonymity. Told me: "Don't let that man anywhere near Rangers or football."
  9. If others are offering more money, that, alas, is the proof of the pudding. If you say you'll accept 10M, and someone offers 13M, someone else offering 10M is not going to be accepted.
  10. I get the feeling their bids are absolutely derisory. I can't understand where the wealth is supposed to be - they've been extremely shady regarding the level of funds they have - instead relying on soundbites about how they have the best interests of the club at heart.
  11. Are you categorically stating that the guys you deal with are absolutely not online? You appear to be projecting it as a fact, and one which you suggest I have no evidence to disprove. Well the evidence I'd use is I know plenty of fans online who go to the matches, and their opinions online (and offline) appear to be the ones you suggest those who go to matches do not possess. I've seen plenty of opinion from fans who do go to games who are disgusted with the splits, the behaviour of other fans etc. I am in no way calling you a liar, as I know you are not calling me one, but you seem to be truly stubborn to the notion of behaviour online simply not matching up with the 'real world'. The simple fact fans showed up at Ibrox with banners saying 'go home yanks' which is the kind of thing being expressed by anti-Miller pro-RST folk online seems to suggest there's more than a correlation.
  12. Papers TV and radio are a hell of a lot less reliable than the Internet! But I can't say I agree - Rangers fans I know who go to games express exactly the same views to me as they would online. But I guess we agree to disagree on this.
  13. Much better.
  14. If you're incapable of expressing directly what you think, and it's the second time you have been recently, then there's no point trying to get sense out of you. So, answer the question: are you saying only those who attend matches have valid opinions?
  15. I don't get to matches any more because frankly I can't afford it and nowadays I have anxiety problems which manifest themselves on occasions such as football games. I contribute to the club in others ways where I can. The problem a lot of you seem to be overlooking is that people behave differently online to the way they do in person. The 50,000 fans at Ibrox are quite likely to be online, in fact, most of them are. Are you saying that the views they've expressed in person are the real ones, and the ones they've posted to forums are a load of nonsense? Or vice versa.
  16. That has absolutely no bearing on anything. Only 50000 of the near million if not more global fans go to matches. Are you both implying only those who attend matches have valid opinions?
  17. So what he's saying is in person we're lying and being honest online? Or the other way around? Or what.
  18. Understatement of the year el-Franko.
  19. Half of me regrets starting this thread - but I guess it sort of proves the point I was making.
  20. What have we definitely done wrong? Abso-fuckin'-lutely nothing. Speculation is tax evasion regarding the EBTs, and of course Whyte's definite retention of VAT and PAYE. But in terms of the club as a whole - not a jot.
  21. You might not want to typo if you're going to insult others' writing.
  22. Yup, problem was you didn't manage to punch in the right combination of letters to convey what was in your head. Now I know.
  23. Actually, you didn't originally dispute that part. You only disputed where the splits manifest themselves, not what caused them.
  24. So I'm not wrong. All you're saying is the splits exist online and not in the real world.
  25. Ok, I have to say for all the splits I've been mentioning, there seems to be one repeating issue which has plagued us for years and is more than prevalent in this thread. That being pro-RST V anti-RST. It all seems to boil down to Dingwall's group and those who disagree with them. Am I wrong?
