While a bit tabloid in presentation, the original documentary had a bit of small credibility about it and was uncomfortable to watch. I didn't wholly disbelieve it, and I utterly disagreed with the ban. This one, on the other hand, featured porn stars, claims that Murray wanted a piece of Joanna Lumley, Prince Albert investing in Rangers, plus a parody of the most OTT Rangers fan they could find. Plus some abysmal voice overs impersonating people. Oh, and a fake phone call with bad acting at the end. I'm not saying it was total lies, but there was a horrible lack of evidence to back up its most serious allegations. And even the BBC themselves are only calling it 'accusations' - they have not reported any of this on their news as actual fact.

Erm, and they should have access to the stuff they showed us? Why is the EBT stuff off limits on camera, but they can talk about it, but the other stuff can be shown. I'm not really buying this.
-
Whyte's a crook. We know this. Showing evidence for that again didn't prove anything we didn't already know. He has no grounds to sue. The D&P stuff is curious, and we will see if they do so. And yes, Murray will be interesting. To see if he takes action.
-
I find it a bit curious they presented zero hard evidence on the 6M and dual contracts, but then regarding stuff we know about had a physical letter about Whyte and supposed emails. So why were they willing to show us evidence for one thing, but not the other? It's more than fishy imo.

I'm a hypocritical cunt.

With all due respect, stop acting like everyone on the forum should know your stance on every issue. That's a bit egotistical. What is clear is that the evidence in that programme was selective at best and tenuous at worst.

How much of what was claimed on tonight's show do you guys believe is true? I'm seeing a bit of divided opinion - FS, Frankie, amms, Zappa in particularly seem to give certain aspects of the show credibility. Do you agree with them?
-
What evidence proved Murray took 6M from the EBT scheme?
-
I did. Oops
-
If you had that opinion beforehand, fine. But don't use the shite tonight to back up your case.
-
It was tweeted 57 minutes ago. So about 20 to 8?
-
So, you believe this? The same documentary that had Prince Albert investing in Rangers, David Murray trying to shag Joanna Lumley and a porn star devising EBTs - you think this is above board evidence?
-
I was curious about that myself. But the statement went out before the allegations about them were broadcast.
-
PS: on the programme the domain of the email addresses was not concealed. Why is it concealed here?
-
Yes, these blurry emails were one thing. But the whole thing was about dual payments and they showed zero evidence. The above is nothing new.

Ok, that was the worst load of tot I have ever seen. The original Whyte documentary made for uncomfortable viewing because deep down there was some suspicion it might be true, but this tonight?! What I learned tonight: Mark Daly's presentation is the most cringeworthy acting ever committed to camera. Mark Daly can't even speak to himself on the phone without sounding like Ronald Villiers. A suspicious response from Prince Albert's secretary was - 'we don't know what you're on about'. David Murray bought Rangers to get his end away with Joanna Lumley. Rangers EBT scheme was devised by a porn star. I am actually in disbelief that this dross could be made by any channel ever. Oh, and they showed absolutely zero evidence about dual contracts - all badly dubbed voice acting making claims. Horseshit.

Is the new Rangers website just crap or is the company managing it crap?

Ironic their name is 'Perform' when their site does anything but. -
Ok, that clarifies that one, if all you say is accurate. I'm a little unclear on exactly the protocol for policing arrangements I must say.
-
I wouldn't panic too much anyway. Their entire case is based on the dual contracts - and all they seem to be doing is saying they've seen evidence. They are not presenting it. The EBT scheme is not illegal - mismanagement of it could well be, but the BBC have not proven that to be the case. Not yet anyway.
-
Then why have we owed money to other clubs? What costs have we owed them?
-
Our fixtures still require policing, even if our own fans aren't there. For away fixtures I don't exactly know how it works, but both teams presumably pay policing costs.

The one who lost to Zenit: Alexander, Broadfoot, Weir, Cuellar, Papac (Novo 77), Hemdani (McCulloch 80), Whittaker (Boyd 86), Ferguson, Thomson, Davis, Darcheville. The one who lost to kaunus: McGregor, Broadfoot, Weir, Papac, Whittaker, Novo (Boyd 88), McCulloch, Dailly, Thomson, Adam (Velicka 66), Miller (Lafferty 89). The one who lost to Kaunus had no Cousin, Cuellar, Hemdani, Ferguson, Davis, or Darcheville. Are you seriously comparing the two sides like for like? The one who played Kaunus had Dailly and Adam in it for Chief's sake! You know summit, I'm not even sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me any more!

You...utterly missed the point by a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG WOOOOOOOOOOOOSH IT'S FLYYYYYYYING OVER YER HEAD. Oops, it's gone now. Sorry, dunno what came over me there.

Rangers' websites have been shoddy as long as there has been a web. Disappointing but the way it's always been. -
Why did I think it was after 10.
