To sport that, he has to be bloody good or bloody stupid. Or even both. -

That looks like what we are doing. Maybe unplanned, right enough. -

It used to be called failing to convert superiority into goals. That's actual goals not some whimsical notion of goals. -

So we should be just over one half of one goal up? -
See how he shapes up in pre-season.

Jack is also 'home grown', as far as I know, which helps with some regulation, or other, and, unlike a no. of other domestic products, he doesn't seem to be haun' knitted. Two plus points, then. -
Doesn't make them invalid.

Well, a lot of our lads are injury prone. Now I take it that these unfortunates are signings from elsewhere, because any injury prone home grown player would be weeded out early, before hitting the 1st XI. A bad injury record surely means unsuccessful. Of course, if we are signing players who are crocks, where the hell are they coming from? Do other teams not riddle them out in their teenage years? -

Claudio Reyna was pretty decent, although I don't think we signed him straight from the US. i always thought that the club failed to even try to capitalise commercially on having Captain (of) America on the park. Maybe the current pursuit of Americans, or American League players, relates to that: it will help us sell tops in Toledo, sweaters in Sweewater, kits in Kansas, bunnets in Boston (well, maybe not that one)...... -

Anybody who has anything to do with that vile outfit - players, coaches, physios, administrators, pr men, executives, consultants, board members, shareholders, supporters, stewards, etc, etc- is complicit in decades of pederasty, and is beneath contempt. -

As far as I can see, the fat okker should sign players to provide him with a Plan B, which he doesn't seem to have. I suspect, however, that he will double down on his one system and game plan, because it is successful against jobbers in Scotland and shit- the-bed managers like, oh, say, McInnes. This, if I am right, is a Good Thing. Yesterday looked like we had had well-spent time on the training field, for a change, and we carried no passengers, ditto. New signings to have a bit of speed, please, and attitude, along with decent skill level, and tactical awareness.
