  1. Ibrahim Adel will not take part in the semi-final of the Egypt Cup with Pyramids tonight, the player is in the process of starting! ✈ Clubs interested at the moment: Rangers FC 🏴 Ipswich Town 🏴 Leicester City 🏴 Getafe 🇪🇸 Your opinions? 🤔
  2. Glasgow Rangers are attracting takeover interest from American investors who value the club at around £150m, with a number of the existing shareholders at Ibrox thought to be open to selling. Former chairmen Dave King and Douglas Park are the biggest shareholders at Rangers with 14 per cent and 12 per cent of the club respectively. Eight other groups hold stakes of less than 10 per cent, including fans’ group Club 1872, which owns 4.96 per cent. South African businessman King is viewed as a willing seller having previously held talks about offloading his stake to Club 1872, while sources close to potential bidders claim that around 25 per cent of shares would be immediately available for the right price. A proposed majority takeover of Rangers from KRF Capital, owned by American businesswoman Kyle Fox, collapsed last year after her demands for two seats on the board at Ibrox were not met, with Park in particular implacably opposed to selling. Fox, who had been seeking to buy 75 per cent of Rangers, has not returned to the negotiating table but other US investors are understood to be considering making bids for a minority stake. Rangers have been in Celtic’s shadow for over decade since being liquidated and reformed as a NewCo in 2012, and have won just one Scottish Premier League title in 13 years, but their powerful brand and large fan-base still makes them attractive to potential investors. 3. Here's another rumour (which may have been debunked in the time I have taken to tap this out on my trusty King Kong): We are after another left winger from exotic parts -Brighton (again!)- one Jeremy Sarmiento, an Ecuadorean International. Diverse, Equatorial, and Inclusive. What more can we ask?
  4. It is suggested to me (via WhatsApp, thus of unquestionable veracity), that the problem with Hagi, financially, is not the extra 5K GBP, per week he may be due for hitting a century of games, but the simultaneous triggering of a 1M Euro add on from the original acquisition. I don't know, but it seems clear that the only way for either, or both, problems, if they exist, to fly off is to get rid of the player. Brutal, sure, but probably necessary.
  5. I should refer them to 'Kim', if I were you. Mind you, that could sow confusion; best to clarify you don't mean that Hero of the Soviet Union, Philby.
  6. Seems Pharaohnuff to me. I thought this was a spoof, but Pyramids FC actually exists, and here's a link Pyramids FC - Wikipedia Cracking badge and good to see the Club maintaining links with antient masonry
  7. No news is good news, isn't it?..... Anybody?.........anybody?...
  8. Apparently.... Could it have been Travis Lewis? Come on, an easy mistake to make, surely?
  9. Did it play a part in the Lurgan Lush's dismissal?
  10. The Green Grassy Slopes of the.......where?
  11. I think that you could sell that idea to Channel 5.
  12. Surely he has not had time to get up to that dangerous level of fitness where hamstrings and groins snap like rice krispies
  13. I could accuse you of many things, but positive is not one of them.....
  14. Rumours, eh? Leeds United 'plot' transfer move for Rangers winger as Georginio Rutter nears £40m exit - Leeds Live (leeds-live.co.uk) Leeds United have been linked with a move for Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo as they bid to bolster their attacking options in the final two weeks of the transfer window. A Football Scotland report states the Whites are considering making a move for Matondo. The Wales international is expected to leave the Scottish giants alongside the likes of Todd Cantwell and Ianis Hagi before the market shuts. Rangers are looking to offload players following their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
  15. If we are stuck with Cantwell and Hagi then Hagi and Cantwell are stuck with us. I am not quite sure how to parse that, particularly if the Hagi bonus scheme is real. I think that sticking them in the stand, or with the stiffs, would suit neither the players, nor Rangers. The players have no showcase, and the Club sees their value diminish, for, substantially, that reason. One could argue that the cost of fielding Hagi, and his bonus, might keep his value at a level which would cover, or even outweigh, the cost of said bonus. If so, reintegrate him. As for Cantwell, I think it difficult to fathom that mind, and its motivation. The lad has talent, but is tactically indisciplined, and,I suspect, has the attention span of a goldfish. I am not sure that he has sufficient ability to enable him to play the maverick role in the current set up. I am not sure that we even have enough talent in the squad to carry a wangeroo in the side. (Maybe Gazza, but that's a different class.) I am sure that Clement does not like allowing a free spirit much, if any, licence. It seems like an impasse, unless the wife/gf takes a view, and tells him to grow up. We have two assets, which dwindle in value, and that, in any enterprise is not a tenable situation.
  16. I talk generally. Panegyrics to the proceeds of crime are unacceptable. I fear for a country where that vile, criminal organisation is not buried, but praised.
  17. I'm not apportioning 'blame'. I point out that their success is founded on criminal enterprise. I did so rather bluntly, last night, which was not to your delicate taste. The fact that people find their crimes acceptable, I find monstrous.
