I take it that the officials in the Aberdeen game were less than flawless. Was ex-Rangers player Mr McInnes sent to the stand for violent abuse of referee and/or assistants? Will he be on a UEFA charge for such behaviour?

Hibernian Record FC: There's plenty of blame to go around...

I expect that you are correct re: the Enquiry. Anent bridge building: is this not significantly easier when both sides wish the area between them spanned? As an aside, who, may I ask, is styled Pontifex Maximus? Will he be of any help to The Gers? -

My point entirely. The current revisionism, in all media, press, tv, radio, and internet bloggos does not stand up to scrutiny. It has now got to the point where, if their present logic were applied historically, Poland would be blamed for starting WW2. -

Lay aside, for the moment, the actions of a section of the Rangers' support. Lay aside, for the moment, the shortcomings of the Police, and of the football authorities. Consider what the East coast vermin did. 1. At the final whistle, several thousand Hibs' fans invaded the pitch. 2. A no of these Hibs' fans vandalised the pitch, the goal posts, corner flags etc. 3. A no of these Hibs' fans taunted, abused, threatened, and, in fact, physically assaulted Rangers' players and staff. 4. A no of these Hibs' fans taunted, abused, and threatened Rangers supporters, including those disabled, and children. 5. A no of these Hibs' fans fought with Rangers' supporters on and around the pitch. 6. The Hibs' fans, behaviour, as a group, made it impossible to have a proper presentation of trophy, medals, etc. It is possible to explain the Hibs' fans behaviour.: A. They were, understandably exuberant (to use the schmuck Petrie's exculpatory term) B. They have , to use the schmuck Speirs' exculpatory expression, " a natural denominational antipathy" towards Rangers and its support. C. They , probably ,"had drink taken", as the non exculpatory Irish phrase has it. None of the above is controversial. None of it can condone, exonerate or excuse the actions of the Hibs' fans, en masse, in smaller groups, or individually. All of the above must indicate to any observer, even one of the meanest intellect, that the Hibs' fans acted outrageously badly, that there is no possible justification for their actions, that there is little -nothing- to be offered in mitigation, and that they may not be trusted, in like circumstances, again. Wherein lies the problem? -

Spin masquerading as a critique of spin. I am surprised that a national daily newspaper publishes such propaganda. No, I'm not. -
The defence, no matter who plays, seems to be -has been for a year or so- pretty flaky. To deal with this, management will require to implement a simple strategy: score early, score often.

With respect to all the above, the hooped whores look nailed onto qualification. We can but hope. Personally, I should be pleased if the Israeli team turfed them out.

May we consider Scott Allan, therefore, a bullet dodged? -
Neil Lennon: Hibernian to contest five-match Uefa ban

I assume that the Leith filth is unlikely to be in European competition for some time. Appealing the Lurgan reptile's exclusion can only be to safeguard compensation when, inevitably, one of the big CL teams (RM, Barca, Juve, ManU, BM, PSG, Arsenal, whomever) comes calling for his services. After all, who would want one of European football's top club managers sitting in the stand for 5 matches, during European football's top club competition? I have a feeling that the key to his suspension may lie not merely in his behaviour in the technical area, but in events off pitch, and off camera, in the stand, referees' room, etc. Let us hope the ban is doubled; or, even tripled. He could then, justifiably, claim a treble of his own, his first, as far as I know. -
The player seems injury prone, which makes signing him a tad risky, given the hammer throwers who await in the SPFL.

A player with the odd (5, 7, 9....) disaster in him, if I am not mistaken. Probably a more elegant bomb scare than those there at present.

West Ham Utd has produced a commemorative strip, for the coming season, celebrating its origin as Thames Ironworks FC. Would something with this aesthetic work up here? Check it out: https://www.officialwesthamstore.com/tiwfc-kit/mens/2278_201617-TIWFC-COMMEMORATIVE-SHIRT.html

Is the SPFL not, actually, a reboot? -
Would it be inappropriate of me to suggest that the Crown seems to lack commitment, in pursuing this particular businessman?

I genuinely hope that you are right.

The RvP rumour has been around for some weeks, presumably with no foundation whatsoever. Timothy, as a rule, does not have the wit to produce a Tangoist operation of this nature. The best that he has managed so far is the suggestion that the RvP story was promulgated by Level 5 PR, to distract from the fact that Rangers were outbid by Oxford United for Kane Hemmings. (Timothy did not use the word 'promulgated', I may add.)

Affirmative.

A "sensational" signing would be good, great, in itself, but an amusing bonus would be reactive panic buying @thepiggery.
