Oduwa 19 Ball 21 Zelalem just turned 19. Not sure the path for youngsters is fully in place yet??? MW has made it clear to all & sundry that developing young hungry players is the way forward for the club & he is nurturing that belief through all age groups, that they can make the top team. He will decide if they are good enough & that will be the final criteria; ability. On the general point, we have to accept that they have cash to throw around & nothing brings them any more pleasure than stealing players from us. They have been doing it for 10 years +. All we can do is offer the opportunity to be a Ranger, to make wearing the jersey worth something more than money. Point out that they WILL be given the opportunity to play at the top level & that if the Evil Empire have approached them, warn them that they may be about to sell their soul for filthy lucre & that there is a very strong possibility that they will never get anywhere near a first team slot. Ask McGeoch, Allen etc

If the decision is upheld, every time a player clenches a fist after a goal, the club should write to the SFA seeking clarification to coin a phrase & fans should deluge them with letters of complaint at the lack of consistency. If there is no justice, perhaps we should riot every time we see a player clenching his fist when they score against us. On reflection I think the ref was right & we were lucky the Morton fans never invaded the park & ripped Halliday limb from limb :-)

I purposely tried to stay off him as he is actually a waste of mental energy. I was trying to defend young players who have been subject to the boo boys, but someone tried to blame McKay for Ally being arguably the worst football manager of all time. I dont surround myself with anyone, sheep do that. I'm more of a lone wolf rooooaaaarrrrrrr :-)

Agree, was not a coincidence Adam flourished at that time. The same pattern football wise was repeated under WS when the football we were playing was tremendous, until KT got injured & Ferguson came into the team & we spluttered from there on in a football sense. Mendes got pissed off by a wee nyaff who couldn't lace his boots trying to control things. PLG went on to confirm he was a total fud elsewhere but at least he should have been given the chance to chop Ferguson to see what happened

PLG was a fud & I was quickly on to him early doors. Barry Ferguson & Boyd had a lot to do with the teams failures as they were corrosive influences in the dressing room & were undermining him, but a fud he was. However in comparison to McCoist he is Alex Ferguson on steroids. Any boasting McCoist or his worshippers could make, would remind me of the fanny I used to go to school with who thought he was one of the best fighters in the school because he could batter most of the lassies. Move on, quickly.

I'm obviously a newbie & I am trying to stay off the McCoist thing as I'm sure it has been discussed to death. Make no mistake however, he IS the worst manager in our history, if not THE worst football manager in history. He humiliated us in every competition we entered with the exception of Div 2 league (Super Ally yeah) & imo the Malmo result was the beginning of our downfall. Things got worse from there on & off the park & he squandered millions in transfers, players wages & talent, not to mention the millions he received in wages & shares. Do everyone a favour & don't try to defend him. Boo hiss rotten eggs tomatoes :-)

Ps Oduwa didn't progress for 2 reasons. He was not offered any protection from Refs & would be booted out the game usually in first 5 mins & he was running out of birds to shag. Think it was distracting him a wee bit

Steady. The shocking inability of the 3 Amigos is beyond contention & Aird & Clark are another 2 of their victims. Warburton may have turned them round but for the resurgence of McKay & the introduction of Waghorn. We do know why McKay has improved. His talent has been recognised, he is being properly coached & the Manager is not a fat useless tosser. Boo hiss blah :-)

I believe the flares & smoke bombs are a complete red herring. They are looking to build a database & will look to prosecute anyone who says the word F****n. Beginning middle & end. The most mind boggling aspect to me is that F*****s were a legitimate political group & there is nothing wrong with the word in itself. It is often an accurate description of Republican viewpoints. I was in Dublin recently & was standing on F****n Street. Of course it has been used as a blanket description for anyone who was Catholic & it wasn't always an accurate description. Sticks & stones right enough.

This is a superb piece & is just about spot on. Very impressed. His talent has been evident from day 1 & sorry to say we might be lucky to hold on to him if he keeps progressing at current rate.

McKay was not their only victim but thankfully Warburton has managed to pull him out the fire. The goal he scored the other week when he picked the ball up near the half way line would make it into Cooper's top ten

Ok then how's this for a comparison When Adam went to Blackpool, he instantly became a club legend & amongst many other highlights, scored perhaps the best free kick seen at Wembley in the richest game in world football. At Blackburn Rovers to this day; Barry who?

Overall people have the right to express their frustrations & feel they are at the panto if they like. let's face it what's the point of a Panto without a villain? You pay your money. What pisses me off is the selected victim most often is actually a very good player but happens to be young & probably didn't cost very much if anything at all. Once the fans are on his back it becomes endemic. I have noticed it starting with McKay & I'm not having it. He is a quality player & the fact that McCoist Durrant & McDowell couldn't get a tune out him is a reflection on their woeful shortcomings to say the least.

Yeah you're right, the boy was shite. McCoist had the team set out brilliantly for wing play but was scuppered by talented young players who couldn't follow his instructions (Templeton, Aird, McKay) to lump the ball into donkey centre forwards Kyle, Daly. I remember him being our best player in the QOS debacle in Ramsdens & after we went down to ten, the Super one put him up front on his own for 10 mins & ran him into the ground & then took him off. Leave the boy alone & stop blaming him for McCoist being shite
