Le Guen has been watching McCormack for 2 weeks now he will have seen enough to make a decision. What good will it do the lad to be stuck in reserve team football for another year. Best for all parties i think. Although i watch Dutch football every week i can't really remember anything about Elmander. I don't know if that says anything. Le Guen seems to like him and he must be a better judge than me.
  2. It seems to be set he is off to real Madrid. I think he will be booed everywhere he plays in England now but to be honest that would not worry me. All is fair in love and war.

Agree with you mate we have taken greater risks with players far worse. Give the guy another chance.

Agreed give him a chance under a real coach(No not on the m1 before all you smart ass answers:D ) Give him a chance with PLG to see what he is made of.
  5. Just a thought. Colshy is right England don't fall under the footy page.
  6. That is great where i work, it also has air conditioning 22 degrees all the time. The thing is when you walk out the door it is like walking into a brick wall. The air conditioning is for the product by the way not for the workers.

Thats what i thought Craig, that all wc players were given 2 weeks holiday after they went out.
  8. I am still waiting for developements Craig but i don't fancy 300 days of this temp to be honest. The humidity there is only 15% so that will probably make a difference but warm is warm. We are also looking for people to go to France which didn't interest me at first but i may consider changing my mind.
  9. If you blink here you start to sweat. 34,35 is too warm give me the thunder and lightning. New Mexico 300 days of this. I am staying in Holland.

I would have thought he was still on holiday because of the wc. Surley he should have had a longer break.
  11. He could have done that here in Holland at the moment. Bloom'n 32 today going up to 34, 35, over the next 2 or 3 days. Thank god i'm going to Scotland for a few days roll on the Glasgow climate 20 degree's here we come. Just kidding i know he is guaranteed that weather in Africa, He could have got a freezing 12 degrees as we had last year at this time.
  12. I am sure he will take in many games at the mo. Why we have to trail away to South Africa for 2 games i will never know. Ok it might sell a few shirts but i feel it is a waste of time and energy.
  13. I think it will be Gerrard. I feel he has more influence over the other players.
  14. I doubt it he is a real protestant who thinks supporting Scotland means you are a jacobite, and supporting Scotland also means a catholic king will come to the throne. Braindead from 1690.
  15. Agree totally, Murray park was meant to attract and bring on young players but if you do not have a scouting system to match it then it is an expensive luxury. I am glad we seem to be doing something about it.
  16. There's only one Wayne Roooooneeeeeey He played like a Balloneeeee he used to be a toffeeee but now he is just offeeeeeee :D :D
  17. He probably meant that Gaz.
  18. Pele Cruijff Maradonna Don't forget when Pele played the ball was much heavier and the boots were also probably heavier. Most keepers were lucky to kick the ball past the half-way line in those days, now they can throw it further. When Pele almost scored from the half-way line against Russia(i think) it was something never seen before, now it is far easier. It is not totally fair to judge on tv footage as it was a different type of game.
  19. Ha ha normally there were hundreds of supporters around the presenter, this morning the streets were empty. They've all gone home, They've all gone home. Englands all gone home.

Thanks Danny it is probably a bad photo of him but he does look on the heavy side. Maybe Ronaldo is starting a fashion.
  21. Agreed Cammy i read that earlier. I also had the thoughts, is it possible for a newspaper to be bigoted against a football team. The Herald seem to be the ones with the biggest problem about sectarianism. They seem to see shadows behind everything we do or say. If we had of played Dundee utd in a friendly it would of been because they wear orange shirts. They seem to want report the bad things but not the good. Even Paul le Guens religion is bugging them it seems. How could a fine catholic boy join a sectarian team they seem to imply. In fighting sectarianism they have become sectarian themselves. Anything to sell papers i suppose.

Who is the guy in the second last photo, lying on the ground. He looks older than me and just as chubby.
  23. Over the the moon that Brazil are out, they thought they could do it with a few prima donna's and a fatty striker. Now they know just because you are Brazilian you are not gods gift to football. I am happy!!!! :D
  24. A contender for the most boring game of the cup after the Swiss-Ukraine game. But you never know if we think the worst we can only be pleasantly surprised.
  25. 0-0 Argies in penalty shoot-out. My glass is always half full!
