    good game

I believe we get 4 mil for getting through this round so that will probably mean 2 mill for a player(s) in january, and 2 mill for the DM benevolent fund.

    good game

I am still sure he will come good. We are funny enough playing some lovely football,we just have to do it more consistantly and in SPL games. Still got my doubts about Boyd and Sebo long term though, they were both pretty crap tonight. Maybe not fair on Sebo as he wasn't on for long, but he looked like a big girls blouse tonight.

    good game

what i meant Craig is that his English left a lot to be desired and is now improving, so i would imagine he can get his points over easier, which will help him comunicate with the players.
  5. Tomorrow in certain papers will be an 8 page pull-out how we were diving to get penalties, and singing the sectarian, we are the people. Stuck in a corner will be, oh yes and Rangers won 2-0.

    good game

To be honest, his English is improving every week as well. Although we have a number of French speaking players, speaking English will help him communicate. I also think going on the first few games of the season and tonights game, the return of Clement will make a very big difference.

    good game

Yes! We don't like the old Scottish steel snapping at our ankles.
  8. Brilliant performance again tonight. Pick-outs were Hemdani, Clement, Novo, Smith and yes i will say it Barry Ferguson was absolutely fantastic. What about Novo playing last man a few times he was possibly our best defender and attacker. On the down side i thought Boyd apart for the header to Novo for the goal, did absolutely nothing. I was not too impressed with Adam either, although he scored the penalty. We had our strongest keeper in the goal tonight. Great Game! Man of the Match was for me was Clement, he broke up everything in midfield and got us going forward. Very close with Barry and Nacho though.
  9. I had to laugh at the commentator when he said about one of the big coloured chappies when he fouled a Rangers player, "He looks more like a cat than a monkey at the moment using up his 9 lives." -Silence- "I am refering of course to Maccabi being called the green monkey's." :D
  10. Don't forget it took Fergie 4 or 5 years to turn manure round so why do we think PLG can do it in 10 games?
  11. Murray payed 6 mill for the club i believe. He also covered a 50mill share issue. The asking price for the club is 70 mill+ i also believe. He sold off all catering to his own company and sold the albion to his son for a peanut. David Murray will only have made money from Rangers and have robbed us of most of our assets. We don't owe him anything.
  12. A party 2 or 3 days before one of the most important games of the season is insanity for me. They dress up like balloons every weekend anyway.
  13. Sorry it should have been Rodriguez of course. You don't know the tune. Where is the Scottish culture in schools these days!!! 'jings, crivens & help ma boab'
  14. Agree with most of that Ian. Murray wants out and is cutting all funds to get the best deal. I hope he finds the right buyer soon.

    What now???

Yes he does look great when he is strutting about slowing the game down, turning this way and that way. Unfortunatly the rendement is minimal and allows 8 people to get behind the ball. When do you see him playng high tempo 1-2's with other players and delicate through balls. No sorry on possession he will always be a candidate for man of the match but not on rendement.

    What now???

Barry plays in the engine room of the team. If the engine does not run properly then the bus will run badly. That is what is happening imo, we cannot get a grip of the midfield. Barry has had one good season and years of moaning about being injured. We need a more adventurious playmaker who wil keep the tempo high and not give the opposition time to get 8 defenders behind the ball.

    What now???

Yeh!!! At last someone agrees with me about Fergie. He only slows up the play, and as Bluetooth says he mostly plays the ball square or back. He lets midfied runners go while jogging back at totoise pace. My feelings on him are known on here he should never have been brought back from Blackburn.

    What now???

To be honest Motherwell are one of the form teams at the moment but a good Rangers team should still walk over them. We still have to have faith in le guen though, he will get it right in the end. It will probably be next season before we can challenge for the league though.
  19. I am still waiting for Hemdani and Fergie to make the step up.
  20. Are you insinuating that we all wear knickers on the Gersnet.:admin: :D
  21. Great line keeper, and exellent at coming out at break-aways. Just unfortunate he was a nightmare at high balls and also with the ball at his feet. Eck made the right decision at that time to play Waterreus. I hope he gets a good send off as he was a great servant to the club.
  22. Obviously my dad but Rangers run through the whole family. Uncles aunties were all blue noses. A birthday party in our family normally ended in the singing of all the party tunes. So i guess it was pumped into me from Birth.
  23. I guess you have got to choose these days. A Chairman that nearly gets you bankrupt. Or a Chairman that picks the team .
  24. Phil Bardsley has a future at Rangers after all as manager Paul Le Guen appears to have forgiven him his misdemeanor. The on loan defender from Manchester United looked to be heading back to Old Trafford after a training ground bust up prior to the clash with Livorno in the Uefa Cup saw him left out of the party that travelled to Italy. Now though he is in the squad for the weekend clash with Motherwell. "Yes, he will be back in the squad," said Le Guen. "He did a good week of training so I decided to reintegrate him into the squad." Yeh Gazza really is lazy!!!:
