No manager in his right mind would accept the first offer before the window opens. Putting in an offer like that is ok on january 28 if no one has toned any interest. I would be disappointed if our manager accepted such an offer.

I agree there should always be options but as i said before because something is classed as a tradition it does not mean we have to stick to it whatever. If i have a funeral in Glasgow i always have trouble with my family because i am used to Dutch funerals now, and that means just going in casual wear such as Denims. That is the liberal way here. Should i buy a 200 pound suit for the few times i will wear it, just because it is tradition? I won't! I have agreed to wear dress trowsers a shirt and black tie. At most Dutch funerals the persons favourite pop songs are played instead of hyms, which i would much prefer. I have nothing with hyms but respect people who do want them. I think the thing to do is put your own wishes on paper before you die and then the funeral or in this case hand clap or silence will be your\their own choice. Rangers probably have set a precedent but unfortunatly the ignorance of a few idiot supporters have probably brought it on them. It is not nice for the family to hear these idiots break the silence.

Yes but he does have a really good point.
-
They use the toilets now for smoking.
-
It has been stated many times by the media. If we can trust them is the another story. They normally know things like that though.
-
If Rangers are interested then he will become a Rangers player. Ibrox is his first choice.
-
They used to play football with a pigs bladder and heavy leather boots. Hey things change in life. Did his family not request it, should they have their wishes changed just because you (or anyone) think(s) its more suitable. Yes why not? In fact every person is different and will possibly have his own wishes on how his burial\cremation is carried out. Personally i think it is, as they spend their whole life trying to get applause, why should it be any different in death? I still believe it should be his\hers own or his\hers families choice. If his family chose that tribute then yes. Please don't bring his families intelligence into debate by saying they were manipulated from other sources. That is your choice barry his family obviously think different.

Like Calscot says it depends what Rangers are offering. I don't think he has averaged 15 games a season over the last 2 years so we can do without him. He does add a lot of exitement to the team though when he runs at defenders. His goalscoring could also be better.
-
i hope we go on to live the dream.
-
I really don't have a problem with the minutes applause on the contrary i find it a more fitting gesture to an entertainer or showperson as footballers are. I would certainly give my permission for such a tribute. Tradition is one thing but it does not mean we have to be cutoff from having new ideas. I also think it is unfair to expect stewards to stop a protester hell bent on getting onto the pitch to protest, unless you want to erect the fences again.(god forbid) Don't forget he has probably stood watching the stewards waiting for the best chance. If it happened every week you can prepare for it but the element of surprise pays a large part on things like that. I do agree though with the feelings on Murray he has to get the club back in order and back our club and supporters against those hell bent on bringing us down. I would like to see him go but i would hate to see a Romanov taking his place.

They certainly would add a bit of bite to the midfield. Brown has already stated his first choice would be Rangers. I don't know what Thomson's preferances are. Somtimes you have to give out to get back. these are players i would expect to increase in price. Paying 1mill for an under rate player plus a payoff is costing us more money.
-
It would seem that leGuen dosn't always go for what we think is the best option. I still think he will put Letizi back in, maybe not this week but certainly next week.
-
Have you given up on Klos then Gribz?(not being funny). Do you think he will play again for us exept if the first 2 keepers are injured?
-
Just tried to be a bit lighthearted about it but you obviously feel pretty strong about this. I havn't really seen(read) you like that before. Dunn did deserve to have his say but it is the abuse he puts in that butchers all his arguments. As has been said before some of the posts have been deleted so all is not what it seems on the thread as it stands.

I love woman taking control. seriously i don't see anything against having woman refs or linesmen as long as they are physically capable and are up to standard. Certainly not just to have woman on board.
-
i agree fully with you, but i hope for McGregor to keep his place.

Listen guy's and Gal's it is time to bring a bit of sanity back here. So i'll shut up, Jon don't you moan about players trying to get other players a yellow card for the next few weeks.
-
Personally i don't think he can learn to hold up the ball outside the box, i think you either have that skill or you don't.Maybe he can make a slight improvement through coaching. I think le Guen is the person who has to make the decision do i pick the team to suit the skills of boyd or do we get in someone who does have those skills. I remember we were after Jardel(i think) a few years ago and he was also a player that does little for the team but he did guarantee 30 goals a season. You should not try and change the leopards spots but use him to suit his strengths.

I meant the Gersnet Gazza 8 mate i never thought about the real one, sorry for the misunderstanding. Probably still not funny though.
-
So youv© met Gazza then.

Just heard Gerry McNee on the radio saying, smoking in the toilets at ibrox is sectarian because the bogs turn blue with smoke.

DJ was well known in Renfrew in many pubs the Normandy being 1. There was also a pub down at the ferry where he was reputed to drink many bottles of Vodka. I can't think of the name at the mo.) His wife was also reputed to be one of the biggest shags in Renfrew at that time although i only have that from hearsay. I can say he was definatley not always sober on a friday night as i served him drink. but he did normally go home before he turned into a pumpkin.
-
Come on Jon you know me by now. The Normandy was a Disco in those days and had many beautifull woman kicking about. I was 18\19 at that time so it was a great time to work behind the bar.
-
I won't go down that road then;)

I agree with that Ian. Even if he would say our aim is no debt, every penny above will be given to the manager i would say that he is doing his best for the club and we could at least see the light at the end of the tunnel even if it would take one or two years. As things are now it just seems he is laughing all the way to the bank.
