I am probably old enough and i am sure i will kick myself if i heard it but the words beat me. I am pretty, sure I'd fly over ibrox(tomorrow?) comes into it but thats my best shot.
-
Yep that is what i thought. There will be quite a few big names coming back so i would hope to miss that. I would hope for a 1st place getting a 3rd placed team then. i think we should go all out for the win we have nothing to lose really.

Real Madrid will get £107M from tv every YEAR

The rich are getting richer and the poor, poorer. I can only seeing a Euro superleague being created in the future as only a handfull of clubs can get anywhere near that. Unfortunatly i don't see us ever playing in it. -
I wonder what our admirers on timsport will say tonight. No doubt Spiers will be on he wouldn't want to miss this chance.
-
We have started a winning run we have to continue it. Agreed though a draw would definately put us through. I would hope to miss the CL teams coming in at the next round though as Barcelona could be there. What place gets the CL teams?
-
I don't think we will win everything Gribz but if i was to pick the fixtures i want, i don't think i could pick them any better than we are now getting them. As i said if we are going to show anything this season, now is the time we have the best chance to show it.

Exellent story. Two clubs get together and forget remembrance day, while some are wearing poppies. Aye Right. The Celtic board have shown their true colours on this one. They have no confidence on their fans respecting the dead soldiers and probably relations, that fought for ther freedom.

Looking at the fixture list we have now the perfect platform to go on a run until March. All the teams we would want at home we have at home with the exeption of possibly Aberdeen. I would expect a good Rangers team to beat Aberdeen at Pittodrie though. All the teams we would expect to beat away we have away. If we are going to show anything this season this is now the period to show it. Am i dreaming? Sorry on the throwing incident i hope they do have video evidence and witnesses willing to stand up in court against these idiots. He\they are not supporters of Rangers he\they are just morons. I hope whoever did it are found and never allowed into Ibrox or any other football ground again.

Nice one!!!

So you fancy cold nights in Montrose and Brechin then. We would probably be called racists by the media.
-
Agreed i am also glad to see him back as there was talk that he would never play again.
-
I can understand that he didn't go. I would rather play first team football in Scotland than sit in the reserves in Spain. If he is good enough he will get to a big team. My mate many moons ago could have picked any team in Britain including Man u Liverpool and the old firm, but chose to go to Partick thistle. After falling out with Bertie Auld the manager at that time he quit football. Billy McNeil offered to take him to Aberdeen for trials with the thoughts of him joining. He knocked him back and never kicked a ball professionaly again. I would have bitten my arm off to play prof football and he knocked it back. The last i heard he was assistant manager at Ross county.
-
It didn't seem to work with us. But we are going for long term success.
-
I have seen games on tv that he played in including the euro final at Hampden, real against Eintracht Frankfurt 5-3. Truly a football Genius. R.I.P.

No manager in his right mind would accept the first offer before the window opens. Putting in an offer like that is ok on january 28 if no one has toned any interest. I would be disappointed if our manager accepted such an offer.

I agree there should always be options but as i said before because something is classed as a tradition it does not mean we have to stick to it whatever. If i have a funeral in Glasgow i always have trouble with my family because i am used to Dutch funerals now, and that means just going in casual wear such as Denims. That is the liberal way here. Should i buy a 200 pound suit for the few times i will wear it, just because it is tradition? I won't! I have agreed to wear dress trowsers a shirt and black tie. At most Dutch funerals the persons favourite pop songs are played instead of hyms, which i would much prefer. I have nothing with hyms but respect people who do want them. I think the thing to do is put your own wishes on paper before you die and then the funeral or in this case hand clap or silence will be your\their own choice. Rangers probably have set a precedent but unfortunatly the ignorance of a few idiot supporters have probably brought it on them. It is not nice for the family to hear these idiots break the silence.

Yes but he does have a really good point.

They use the toilets now for smoking.
-
It has been stated many times by the media. If we can trust them is the another story. They normally know things like that though.
-
If Rangers are interested then he will become a Rangers player. Ibrox is his first choice.
-
They used to play football with a pigs bladder and heavy leather boots. Hey things change in life. Did his family not request it, should they have their wishes changed just because you (or anyone) think(s) its more suitable. Yes why not? In fact every person is different and will possibly have his own wishes on how his burial\cremation is carried out. Personally i think it is, as they spend their whole life trying to get applause, why should it be any different in death? I still believe it should be his\hers own or his\hers families choice. If his family chose that tribute then yes. Please don't bring his families intelligence into debate by saying they were manipulated from other sources. That is your choice barry his family obviously think different.

Like Calscot says it depends what Rangers are offering. I don't think he has averaged 15 games a season over the last 2 years so we can do without him. He does add a lot of exitement to the team though when he runs at defenders. His goalscoring could also be better.
-
i hope we go on to live the dream.
-
I really don't have a problem with the minutes applause on the contrary i find it a more fitting gesture to an entertainer or showperson as footballers are. I would certainly give my permission for such a tribute. Tradition is one thing but it does not mean we have to be cutoff from having new ideas. I also think it is unfair to expect stewards to stop a protester hell bent on getting onto the pitch to protest, unless you want to erect the fences again.(god forbid) Don't forget he has probably stood watching the stewards waiting for the best chance. If it happened every week you can prepare for it but the element of surprise pays a large part on things like that. I do agree though with the feelings on Murray he has to get the club back in order and back our club and supporters against those hell bent on bringing us down. I would like to see him go but i would hate to see a Romanov taking his place.
