I don't think Fergie's Dad will have a totally impartial opinion. We are going on here as if Fergie leaving will be the death of Rangers. It will just be the start of the new era. We have not broke that many trophy winning records with him in the team, maybe just maybe Rangers will survive the great one leaving.

First of all a manager has to have the respect of the players. If he feels one player is turning other players against him then he only has one choice really. Personally i feel Barry has played his last game for us and will be sold as Murray will back le Guen. It then depends on who comes in and how the team play whether the fans get behind le Guen or not and how quickly Barry's exit is accepted.

The answer is the same, there is life after Barry.

His knowledge of our language really is a big hurdle in him explaining anything. I really feel in this situation he would have been better speaking French with an interpreter

I seem to remember Alex Ferguson dropping Paul Ince who was supposidly their best player. Brought in Beckum and Scholes so Ince was forgotten quickly.

I don't think Gavin Rae is a long term change, he is just a stop-gap. I am sure if Barry leaves then at least one midfielder will be brought in soon. We havn't really been that dominant since Barry took over in midfield and we are certainly no better as when he was with Blackburn. Of course that is the other ten players fault over all these years.

Just found one Nwankwo Kanu. Wants away from Portsmouth, this is a player i would love to see with us. He has everything he can score and he can hold the ball up. He puts a move back to Ajax as his first choice though.

Good post. I am not as far as you yet i want to hear the full story first but i do admit doubts are starting to enter my head about le Guen. I will still give him the benefit of the doubt at the moment though.

One thing i hope the fans realise tomorrow, is that Gavin Rae has played no part in this shambles, as far as i know, and everyone should get behind him whether we like it or not.

I am sure he deserved more of a chance than Sebo but Rangers make a habit of not giving talents a chance. Playing players out of position is another great asset we have.

I can't argue mate i didn't see the game but i still go back to my last post Barry taking the ball off the defence while we are still on our own 30 yard line is wasting a player in midfield and i don't know any other team that play that way. I do think Barry is a good player but he has played totally wrong except for the one season where he scored 20 goals. Is that his fault or the managers i don't know but two managers have had problems with the same problem.

Yes by mouth and not trying everything myself. Cammy, when Barry comes and picks the ball up from the defence that means we have 5 players marked by the two strikers. We are then missing a midfield player and have 5 men marked by 8 players. That is imo the reason we have no creativity. It is again, imo, so simple to play against and our league position proves it a bit.

I certainly don't think it is the captains job running round like a headless chicken trying to cover all the positions of people he judges to be playing bad. If he does think someone is not pulling their weight then he should ask the manager to change things. What is easier for our opponents to say, BF picks the ball up get 2 men on him and cut off his passing outlets. The games i have seen that is what is happening. Then Barry turns and turns until the opponents have 10 players behind the ball.

It is not Barry's job to judge on who is not doing their job it is the managers. Barry should know by now what a central-midfielders job is and have instructions from the manager. If he does not follow these instructions then he is not doing his job.

It also depends on how things are said. Action gets reaction. If someone starts sreaming at me, be they right or wrong, my immediate reaction is to scream back. Trying to get a point accross is lost by screaming at someone.

Cammy you must know that in every setup there has to be a clear line. If Fergie is everywhere and nowhere then it breaks the structure. Your Central midfielder taking corners, freekicks from the wings.Why? If our wingers or wingbacks can't do it then it is time we got some that can.
