  1. Yes. Nwankwo Kanu N'wank Wo kan u
  2. Personally i think it will be much harder to change things in Scotland than in Northern Ireland. That may at first seem strange, but in my experience people who live at a distance from the source are baked in old values and totally unaware of modern trends. If you take the Turks who live in Europe they are a lifetime away from the modern day Turkish people who still live in Turkey. I also know i became far more fanatical for Scotland once i was living abroad so i can imagine that the Scottish-Irish are more fanatical as the people actually living there. As i said at a distance you do not move with the times but stay baked in the old traditions.
  3. The guy's played their hearts out but did lack that bit of class. Italy looked to have 2 extra players in the second half. It is now most important to win our home games plus the easy away ones.
  4. Ulrich van Gobbel and Guy shufflebottem.
  5. Maybe you can help calscot out with a ticket then Gav. I guess when it comes nearer the time you will be biting at the bit to go though.
  6. Ulrich van Gobbel who played for Willem II, Feyenoord, Galatasary en Southampton was found guilty today in a dutch court of leasing cars and selling them on without paying the lease off. He has disappeared and thought to be living in Suriname and will probably never return to Holland to serve his sentence. You would think even an average player would make enough money these days to keep him away from petty crime. Unbelievable
  7. I always said Hemdani was a touch of class and will stick with that, i think if we have Hemdani, Thomson Fergie and Brown we will have a great midfield once they all gel. Maybe even Buffel could be part of the equation but he looks to be going. I would expect quick one touch football from these guy's, if they do that we will be awsome. With this midfield i would like to see Buffel stay one more year.(i think)
  8. Scotland above Holland i am going rub that in to my workmates tomorrow.
  9. I agree to a point Ian but not the old hit our heads against a wall game as we tried in Holland a few years ago and lost 5 i think it was. We have to play smart and hold it tight We have to hit them at the halfway line and play from there. If we challenge too early we will make the park too big and their skill will rip us apart. We do have to stay being dangerous though to hold their defenders from being extra midfielder's.
  10. In der Bild(German newspaper) today Franz Beckenbaur said the Germans were the strongest in europe at the moment and named his top 10 at this moment. Number 5 will shock a few people south of the border and he asks, English, jealous? To see his top 10 click on the link and go to the column: MEHR zum Thema Die 10 st¤rksten Teams in Europa You can then go forward or back with Zuruck or Vor http://www.bild.t-online.de/BTO/sport/2007/03/26/franz-exklusiv/europas-nummer-eins.html
  11. I definitely think we will start 4-5-1 with miller up front. I would love as Ally says to go there and have a go at them but i think we will try to hold it tight from the start and go out for 0-0 and hope for a breakaway goal. Brown must start as he was a breath of fresh air on Saturday. We must keep it tight but not so tight as to go and sit on our 18yard box. We must form some sort of danger otherwise they can put extra players from the defence into the midfield, and our lone striker will be isolated, and we will be camped on our 18 for a nail-biting 90mins
  12. If we look at things honestly then there is only one Rangers player who maybe should be mentioned and that is Hemdani. Player of the year is not only about scoring goals it is about regularly putting in good performances in all aspects of the game and Boyd has not done that.
  13. I hope the story that the Scott Brown deal has already been signed and sealed, is true, as his price may have have gone up with his performances over the last few weeks. I think he has shown he can actually run a game which would make us less dependant on Fergie having to do it and therefore less transparent. I will be really disappointed if he doesn't come now as i think he looks a really good young talent and he is still only 21 i believe.
  14. I can't believe that supporting Scotland is being linked to drinking. It is not the first time i have seen Rangers or Celtic supporters lying in the gutter spewing their guts up. Yes maybe a Scotland problem but a social problem and not the problem of the football team. Cammy, You see so much negatives going on around you, do you actually see any of the football?
  15. The referee is illegitimate.
  16. He is a good player and scores a lot. Strong in the air but not the most technically gifted Dutch player. I would actually say he is like Chris Boyd actually except he works a bit harder. I don't think he will be as big a scorer as Boyd but he will link up better than Boyd. If we we can afford a player from AZ then i would love us to go for Dembele as i reckon he will become immense. I won't be sorry to see Koevermans at Ibrox though he at least fights for everything.

    Alan Hutton...

I agree he is playing well at the moment and before his injury i really thought he was a real talent. I agree with Bluetooth in a small way in that 2 swallows don't make a summer he really has to show this form week in week out to prove he is the finished article. He also has to get rid of these petty fouls and pushes that are getting him so many red cards.
  18. The gist of the story is we are interested in koevermans and Smith sees him as the sequel to Vinegar of Castlemilk. Koevermans would love to play in British football but it is unknown if Rangers would interest him. He makes his d©but in the Dutch selection this weekend and has a contract at AZ until summer 2010. We could have got him for next to nothing last year now i fear he is out of our price range. I wonder if we can get a deal with Shota thrown in.
  19. The ref gave a possible valid description of why he done it which was accepted by all the media, pundits etc. There was a bad foul just before the goal and the Ref played the advantage rule which led to the goal you see in the film. The ref said his reaction was about getting the decision spot on to play the advantage rule and not for the team scoring. To be honest i also believe him although it does look a bit biased, and many won't believe him.
  20. Super Cooper- We will never see his likes again. Long live the memories. RIP
  21. Opens up the question of the tims winning the championship against us, again. I would hate them to win it at Ibrox.
  22. Thanks Ian, i was just about to phone my psychiatrist.
  23. Really strange answer from you Gav. Was this humour or have you come to see Cammy as a god.
  24. Am i losing the plot here, was it not le Guen who dropped him like a ton of bricks. was it not Buffel who said he could not walk through the same door as le Guen? Was he not glad a new manager came in to give him a new chance? Totally confused.
