I don't think it will catch on as a terrace song;), but the words are very true to our position.

The only traffic in Paisley that has ever flowed is the drug traffic.

Personally i don't give a shit what age they are as long as they score or do a job for Rangers. We do not have to offer ten year contracts, we can offer older players shorter contracts. I think if we would have had Tomasson instead of Sebo this year our league position might have been better.
-
Why are we not seeing some of these players getting a chance to come on as a sub for the first team?DJ was 15 when he hit the first team Clarence Seedorf, Wayne Rooney, all young and got a chance. Our young stars might not be as far as these guy's but being part of the squad and getting a seat on the bench will help bring them on.
-
Yeah they could have whipped us 3-0 at Ibrox. We never got near them Craig.

I don't like him to be honest i think he is one of the weaker players by AZ. Werder gave him a free role tonight allowing the ball to go to him as he is easy to close down. If we want a back from them then give me le Clerq. The youth player Ryan Donk played a blinder and makes you wonder where our youth players are. I still would take Dembele in a second though he will end up at one of the top clubs and he is still only 20.

He is only 31 and now with villareal.

He is not the most technical Dutch player and was really a second division player until last year, but he was almost top scorer every year in that division. He certainly has done well for AZ this year and that is what worries me funnily enough. AZ have 2 great wingers who can put the ball on his head.Do we have that? He has Shota next to him pulling players all over the place with dummy runs. Do we have a player like that? He can score. He works hard. He is a physical handful but like anyone else he will need service. He will certainly do no worse than Sebo and will work harder than Boyd but Boyd's scoring record will be hard to beat for anyone so i don't think he will beat that and may be wrongly judged on that. Depending on what he costs i would give him a go but don't expect a Vinegar or Sutton who can hold the ball up Shota does that for AZ expect more a Sebo with a brain and scoring ability.

Jon Dahl Tomasson is looking for a club i believe, i think he could do a good job for us up front together with Koevermans. I don't think it would cost much to get him, though his wages might be a problem.

Buffel-Koevermans swap may go Dutch by Thomas Jordan RANGERS could land AZ Alkmaar star Danny Koevermans - if Walter Smith is prepared to allow Thomas Buffel to move in the opposite direction. The Ibrox side are thought to be weighing up a move for the powerful attacker in the summer, but granting midfielder Buffel permission to head in the opposite direction could help seal the deal. Koevermans has taken the Dutch league by storm this season and it would take around £2m to tempt coach Louis van Gaal to part company with the player. With Dado Prso retiring at the end of the season, and Smith already keen to bolster his strikerforce before hearing that news, finding fresh options up front is one of his main priorities. advertisement With Prso gone, Smith has only Kris Boyd, Nacho Novo and Filip Sebo to call upon. Sebo's future is still in doubt and he is expected to be moved on after proving to be an expensive failure from Frenchman Paul Le Guen's reign. Novo has been used more as a wide player this season and, with Alan Gow already secured on a Bosman from Falkirk, Smith knows he still needs two new strikers. Koevermans is being sold on a move to Ibrox by team-mate Shota Arveladze. He said: "Rangers are a great club and I have heard enough positive stories about them from Shota. "He told me about the fantastic time he had there. I'm happy at AZ, but you never know - we'll wait and see." Any deal, however, could hinge on whether Alkmaar are allowed to take Buffel. Van Gaal has been an admirer of the Belgian since his Feyenoord days and it has been hinted he would be happy to lose his top attacker if Buffel helps soften the blow. It's also believed Smith wouldn't be too upset to see Buffel, signed by Alex McLeish in 2005, move on. He almost sealed a switch to German side Hannover 96 in the January transfer window, but decided he didn't want to join a new club before he was fully fit. He is believed to be keen to kick-start his career in a new league next term. And that could also be one of the reasons why he won't feature again for the Ibrox side this season. Buffel will return to light training this week after being out since early February with a knee injury which required surgery. Smith said: "Thomas is coming along well. He had the operation on his knee in Belgium and spent some time there recuperating. "But he will be back training with us at Murray Park later this week and continue his rehabilitation. "It will be next season, however, before he is playing again and back with us in the squad." Personally i don't see AZ wanting Buffel as i think they have better in Dembele and Martins but you never know.
-
yeah Brown, I'm getting nervous about him, with his recent performances and if he has a good cup-final,the price could shoot above our heads. Unless the deal is already done of course. I would hate to read in the papers soon "Brown agree's deal with Celtic" as with McDonald and Riordan. Maybe we should make a list of players we don't want so as the tims will buy them.
-
He is prone to hide too much. I thought he would be a good buy when he came as he is an excellent player on his game. We need players that will stand up and be counted when the going gets tough, Thomas just won't do that. If we could mix Nacho and Buffel together we would have a great player. I would rather have a fighter with a touch less skill.
-
Personally i don't think PSV will pay him any more than we would. He will realise he will need to take a financial step backward as he is no longer a player who can hold down a place with one of the top teams. He could do a job with us but he is very injury prone which would make me have doubts. He is also the holder of a black belt judo i believe. (Another piece of useless information.)

Hundreds of their supporters had fights all over a shopping centre, using knives and other weapons. UEFA will throw the book at these teams. No, because singing the Billy Boys is far worse than that.

Well done mate but if you save up all those fiver's you will probably have twice as much.

Stott is a fanatic Hibs fan and a bit of a sore thumb in the programme in my eyes. http://www.stv.tv/content/sport/infocus/Grant_Stottxs_column/ -

I am afraid Walter Smith is not a legend for me as i believe he got handed a great team on a plate and watched it slowly huff and puff until it died against the worst celtic team ever. Mccoist is only a legend on the park and at the BBC he still has to prove he can be a coach. Great players are not always great coaches, in fact most good coaches were mediocre players. Whether Walter and Ally can become legends will start in August 2007. -

Thy were kicked out for this season Gribz. It has unfortunately turned into a tims paradise with Grant Stott and Andy Walker normally backed by John Colquhoun(always), and one of the other names here. Graham Speirs, Gerry McNee, Owen Coyle or Archie Mcpherson. Try and get a not biased view on things from that lot although i do have time for John Colquhoun as i do believe he tries to give a balanced view. -
Rangers don't do things for the supporters at Ibrox, why do you think they want to do anything for fans in America? Only one reason for the trip, Fraser and that is a commercial one.
-
This is purely a commercial trip, what better publicity can we get than playing against Beckem at this moment. We will be hoping for outlets to sell our gear, on the American market.
-
Yep certainly a shame, but then again Advocaat was never a good judge on young talent he could only go for the tried and trusted.
-
When we talk about Gattuso surely we worship him from his AC time as he never got much chance to be a Rangers hero.
