Watched the full game now. Normally you can't see past a hat-trick scorer but for me the fact is that without Stewart Defoe wouldn't have had a hat-trick. Stewart for me with his 2 assists and he was generally all over the place in a good way. Surprise of the season.

My wife works voluntary for a foodbank here in Germany. All of the food comes from the Supermarkets.(ie Aldi and Lidel and more) They do fresh food that the supermarkets won't sell anymore. A supermarket won't sell Lettuce with bad leafs on the outside so the foodbank pulls the bad leafs and it is perfectly good. tomato's and peppers leeks carrots are other things that the supermarkets throw out while they are still good for consumption if the bad ones are thrown out. Also products with a few days to the sell by date are given out.

People only judge players when they are on the ball. They don't(including me) see the work off the ball and the room they are creating for others.

Missed my first game of the season, so I have not seen the game. I have always said Edmundson still has to be judged. People say he is quick which gives me hope given that Goldson and Helander run with a CWT coal on their backs.

I just mentioned what the Feyenoord players said and if you read what I wrote they said they couldn't get the ball to Haps. That is not necessarily tavs fault it could be the system. Going back to Feyenoord nearly every one of their players said in the after game interviews "the space was with Haps but we never found him enough." Haps is the left back. Looking at the way YB played yesterday it also looked like they had picked up that down their left wing (Our right) was a Rangers soft spot.

No I am not. I think we should pick our best team for big games. Katic has proven time and again that he is our best defender. I am talking about the grand scheme of things not just 2 goals. If you think all 4 CH's are the same level then that is your prerogative. I think differently it is as simple as that. I don't have a hard on for Katic I think he is our best defender. If others play better I will say that but I have not seen anything in the games Goldson and Helander have played together to make me sit and watch a game with confidence of a strong defence.

I will leave it at that No idea how you can say that as if the game would have ran the exact same if Katic played but Hey hoe.

I am not just looking at the 2 goals, I am looking at the whole game. As a point Goldson and Helander didn't exactly cover themselves in glory at the first goal. The defence was certainly not a confidence boosting platform to build on. I can't say Katic would have won us the game just as you can't say he wouldn't have. So that point is just as much rubbish. Katic may or may not have cut out the cross. He is certainly far quicker than Goldson who has been shown up for speed time and time again. Katic is far stronger in the air than both of them together so the game may have taken a different wending with more confidence in the defence.

Did he win a defensive header apart from when no opposition players were near him? Also why do we keep taking corners for Goldson to head over the bar. Surely we can think up some other options.
