We have been getting pumped ever since Somers made the original sell out.

I live in Germany and have always had access to German television even when I stayed in Holland. You have been taking the piss out yourself because I know how his career went in Germany I saw him playing almost every week back then as I had no Scottish football I watched German and Dutch. You are not going to say that his time with Uerdingen makes him World class are you? He was a good player and probably great in Scotland. The fact remains outside Scotland and Denmark he was not overly successful. Anyway I will leave it at that and be thankful he played for Rangers.

Agree with all of that Ian and I was surprised we didn't see him on Sunday.
-
He is only 18 or 19 so normally he wouldn't be near the first team. Giving him the whole experience and some game time as well will bring him on. Is he still playing for the reserves if he doesn't get game time?
-
You are the one guessing and trying to rewrite history. He had 2 years at Bayern. One good and one bad where he got a lot of criticism and was punted. He hardly got a game for AC . You are dodging Chelsea and Ajax so I am afraid it is you that is talking *****.

Aberdeen v Rangers Hampden Park, kick-off 4.30pm - live on BT Sport Referee: John Beaton Assistant referee 1: Douglas Ross Assistant referee 2: Dougie Potter Fourth official: Steven MacLean
-
There is also the fact that Aberdeen have no idea how we will play so they can't set up tactics to stop it.
-
As I knew he had a good year at Bayern and then a bad season and was sold on to Italy. The rest changes nothing on what I said. I know saying bad about laudrup is a no,no but the fact is apart for 1 good year at Bayern then his time at Rangers was his only real big time success at club level. If you want to talk about a world class Laudrup then I am afraid you will have to talk about Michael his brother. Brian was only world class in Scotland.

Bad years in Germany. Failure at Chelsea. Failure at Ajax but go on rewrite history.
-
No it won't! It will be a Football team in Glasgow. Then they will mention the guy that coached at Rangers.
-
Okay sorry I didn't know that I have never used it. I have no idea what it is.
-
I agree but at club level he never really hit the heights he should have.
-
Lafferty would have produced a copy of the messages if she had asked for it. He may have been stitched up but he was a simple and willing target if so. The guy must have an IQ of 0.001.

podcast thread (image) GN Pod 022 - Getting out of jail
pete replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Is it Tuesday already. Well done BJ that is record time given the amount of stops yesterday. I think we all had a couple of brain farts yesterday. -
I gave his blog a little plug at the end of the podcast.

Lets face it Brian Laudrup was a failure at most other clubs across Europe and he did all right for us. If Kent gets near his level then he would certainly be worth spending some money on him.
-
For me and many others it will always be the famous Glasgow Rangers whether official or not. It will probably die away in the next generation but you will just have to accept that some people use that now. If that is our biggest worry then we are doing okay. You are lucky you don't live in Holland because the most people there just call us Glasgow. I have sent e-mails in the past complaining to the Dutch tv companies about it but never got a response.

I wonder if he will get into the Scottish hall of fame. seriously he should never be near our club.
-
No problem mate we can still get it up.

Yes fantastic blog. Many happy returns.

Borrowed from FF as is the tweets. Ok so basically SD have argued that Rangers have breached prior agreement that their right to match was in some way exclusive, and that by Rangers entering in to an agreement with another provider has breached said agreement. Rangers Counsel have argued that these rights were "Non Exclusive" and the wording of the Agreement supports that these were "Non Exclusive" therefore Rangers were within their rights to go elsewhere. Our Counsel Mr Hofmeyr also argued SD interpretation would make no commercial sense. We also presented the Court with emails exchanges with SD which support they were in no hurry to negotiate a new deal despite the Judge in the last case to "get on with it" and argument that if there is no steps to match, then Sports Direct lose their rights to match. Our QC also quoted a Loydd's TSB case with regards to how a contract should be formed and it's end goal mechanism, and that SD's argument of the agreement is off balance. The Judge appears to positively acknowledge Mr Hofmeyr points (but I will remind you that this may not affect his overall judgement but does give an indication of his mindset). SD'S QC did not appear to get his points across very well as the Judge's responses show. Noting is certain. Judge said on closing "I know that you are both keen for a Judgement, I shall get round to it when I can, is there any particular date that is should be made aware of that is important to the run of things. Judge closed by requesting a copy of the minuscript". ** Udpated SD asked for an injunction on Elite distributing Rangers Kit until the case was heard, their application failed.
