All paper newspapers will disappear in the near future. That is not just at newspaper level but also at all club levels. I just got a e-mail from my marina saying that they will not be sending out a paper edition anymore.

I have been in the Dortmund stadium a number of times and while the atmosphere is good from the standing area the stadium is just a huge block of concrete. You almost have to have oxygen sitting in the top, back seats from the climb and the height you are at and you can just as well watch the ants moving about in your garden as that is approximately the view you have. My ex-colleague would probably kill me for this as he is Dortmund crazy but I was far more impressed with the Schalke stadium. Dortmund and Schalke hate each other as Rangers and Celtic.

seemingly it was Dave's Birthday yesterday. Dave, Colin Stein and Tam Forsyth were my hero's when I was a boy. I understand Dave still goes to Ibrox as a supporter and although I never met him I was offered a pie from him which I gladly excepted. I wish you many more birthdays Dave. That is a shocking statement and shows how thick he is. I don't think he meant it as he said it but just to put out that doubt is stupidity. I think in a stupid way he meant at youth level he preferred to listen to his father than trainers that have never kicked a ball at a high level.

I haven't seen him enough to judge his defensive discipline but his ability to score and also pick out a deciding pass has exited me. It is easier to sort defensive problems than find a player to create scoring opportunities.

I am not sure I agree with you on that Craig. Middleton has a gift in scoring himself but also in picking out players that is not the obvious choice to pass to. I have not counted but I am sure he has had more assists than Kent in the few games he has played. I certainly don't see him as one dimensional.

I don't think Hardie will make it at Rangers. I have only seen Rudden in one tournament where he missed two sitters that could have put the team through. He was quite lively though and certainly looked reasonable for his age.

I won't count yesterday but Atakayi hasn't impressed me when I have seen him. I will say I haven't seen him an awful lot though.

And for Michael Stewart who badgered on about the hand ball not being intentional and being above your head does not make it intentional the rule also states if you have your hand in an unnatural position making yourself bigger then your hand does not need to go to ball. The fact you make yourself bigger means a handball should be awarded.

Funny how we all see the game different. Katic cleared the most balls out the box and was also the main defender in the build-up. Yes he had a few bad passes but what he does good seems to be overlooked. I don't think we can judge McAuley today as he had nothing to do defensively.

Katic should never have been dropped. He is far better than Goldson and Worrel. Yes he was poor at the goal but for the rest he had a good game and also defends with important headers.
