I don't want to sound uber-staunch but I have no idea how you can turn Rangers off and watch another team, Maybe if we were 3 or 4 behind but we were always still in the game yesterday. -

I agree but we haven't been looking for one have we? I think when Worrel stayed we were shot of that. If we are going to play Worrel and McAuley then McCrorie has to play just in front of them. -

jack is brilliant at the high press and McCrorie is the best ball winner we have. I think Jack is a far more skilful player than you are giving him credit for and our best matches have been with Jack and McCrorie together.. -

Agree but I think Ibrox would be empty if we played that kind of football week in week out. -

Okay here is my tuppence. I have said from day 1 Steven Davis is not going to be the difference to us winning the league. Our midfield should be McCrorie with Jack and Arfield more advanced. Thankfully Davis only has a 6 month contract because we really need better than him to win the league. Their seems to be the misconception that he was brilliant first time round but I can remember plenty of games he was the invisible man. Unreal why people thought Worrel was a world bearer after one good game against Celtic. We should be investing our time in Katic. The only time I saw McAuly was when he got yellow and letting Jones run 30 yards at the goal. It is not fair to judge Defoe after one game but tonight I would rather have had Broughy to be honest. I do think Defoe should have had a penalty though when the defender was pulling his arm. -

From the distance Jones shot I think McGregor has to think he should have done better as well. -
Agree Worral and Katic for me.
-
Then you will see worse players which leads to less supporters and less money so the circle goes on
-
Plus McAuley and Worrel have not really been that great together from what I can remember.

Coverage: Watch on BBC One Scotland & iPlayer; listen on BBC Radio Scotland 810MW/DAB/online; live text commentary on the BBC Sport website & app Auchinleck Talbot are looking to create history on Saturday in the Scottish Cup against Ayr United. On the three previous occasions the Ayrshire junior side have met senior opposition in the competition they lost, but now they hope to claim their first major scalp when their county cousins visit Beechwood Park in the fourth round. This is the seventh season the Talbot have competed in the Scottish Cup since it was revamped to include Scottish Junior Cup winners and the junior league champions. Their most notable appearance was in January 2012 when they lost to Hearts at Tynecastle by a solitary goal. It ended controversially when a last-minute goal by Gordon Pope was incorrectly ruled out for offside, therefore denying Talbot a replay. Not Rangers news but I know there is a few Talbot fans on here so will move it to general football tomorrow.

SFA to meet Scottish Premiership clubs over referee and appeal issues

I think you will need to get used to it because it will come. -
New evidence has been found that rangers have had a spy watching Celtic training at Lennoxtown. (stolen from FF)

I am pretty sure Gerrard said Friday was too early for Goldson so he won't be playing. i would bring in Foderingham as i don't think a keeper will get a lot of sharpness from this game. Gerrard also said that Barasic would appear at some time so maybe Halliday until the 60 minute mark. I would put lafferty and Defoe up front and keep Morelos and Kent for a runabout on Sunday. Don't risk them in a cold high risk of injury game.

That is what makes the winter break so stupid.

Sounds like the wife although she is probably colder.

Weather watch on FF is saying it is not freezing due to cloud cover. Tomorrow the covers are going off at 11am and it is +2\3 degrees so should be okay.
