I doubt Helander will have his fitness levels near where the rest of the squad are so I think it will be after the Killie game we will see him.

Any idea of the date for the away game? Is it the 1st of August? -
I Guess Ashely has his grip on selling stock.

He has certainly been good any time I have seen him. How he left the guy from Oxford dead was also sublime. A pity he did not last longer.

Steven Gerrard reckons Sheyi Ojo has what it takes to be Rangers superstar
pete replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Ojo certainly looks like he has a far better scoring streak in him than kent. Looks very exiting indeed. He has to watch not to get too greedy as yesterday he tried things himself when there were far better options on. If he now learns how to punch Scott Brown then he will be better than Kent. Kent bombing in from the left and Ojo from the right is certainly quite a proposition for defenders to face. -

I think Ryan jack has been designated that role to cover for him. If you play 3 defensive midfielders then there should always be cover for the backs to push through. -
I love stroking a badger. I am going to call it Ibrox from now on.??

It will mean defenders running about with their arms behind their back, and attacking players trying to hit their arms.

Seeing the name Haggerty as writer makes me very suspicious of wishful thinking.

Easy to get from the Subway? It almost takes you in to the shop. I went in on a nice sunny day and bought a rain jacket then went and sat on the terrace of the pub next door, or a few doors down, and watched the world and good looking woman go by. Bliss!

On thinking about it it is not really VAR that is wrong it is the uncertainty over the rules. The biggest decision in the LWC was the hand ball issues. That is a matter of interpretation and one referee will give it and another not. I am back to being in favour but it has to be fine tuned.

Shit! We should have kept it a separate entity until big shagger is out the door.

podcast thread (image) Special Pod: The 1989 Mo Johnston Bombshell
pete replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I will admit to listening in tonight and this is a must not miss podcast. Stewart Weir and Colin Armstrong put up a fantastic pod. Really not to be missed! I can't wait until Wednesday to hear it again. -
That was the reason I posted it. I will be honest and say i totally agree with Bill, I was 100% for it but now have serious doubts. For me they are making decisions through a microscope and that was not my perception of it. If we call in VAR for every corner it will be a penalty. I will say though that I do think Mayo played the ball with his hand. Defoe could have been offside but will need a different camera angle. Ojo could have fouled the defender again a different camera angle would be needed. If the Referee has to watch it 10 times to make a decision then it can be deemed He\she is not totally sure of the decision and the original decision should stand.

Going by the ladies World Cup I reckon 3 of our goals would have been checked by VAR today. Mayo- Possible hand ball. Ojo- possible foul on the defender. Defoe- possible offside. Due to RTV only having one camera the decisions were not clear but I reckon these decisions would have been looked at by VAR.

A little bit shit as I also want to watch the Dutch ladies beating America. Looks like two TV's for the second half. If it was an important game there would be no contest of course the Gers would be given my full attention.
