Katic was brilliant again on Sunday. He is a far better defender than Goldson and far better at playing the ball out of defence. Gerrard was pig-headed last season in not playing Katic, I hope he doesen't make the same mistake twice.

I think Ryan jack has been designated that role to cover for him. If you play 3 defensive midfielders then there should always be cover for the backs to push through.
