  1. I hope he is one of the ones arrested but he will probably have kept his fingers clean and let others take a fall. That is the way he normally works.
  2. Good one Rou. I laughed at that.
  3. Don't be daft they will push it aside and take a slap on the wrist and say we have to do better, we have plans in motion.
  4. I am a 100% with you Frankie but I worry under this manager that we are not fit enough to get a strong front press going. Our fitness seems to have gone in reverse as we are coming 1 or 2 yards short every time. Once or twice does not mean it is a serial thing but over many games I worry it is.
  5. https://www.acast.com/heartandhands/...tions?autoplay I enjoy listening to this.
  6. Bad day in general for the Gers. Sad to see they are beating us at a younger level as well. I know that could be age related but I still like beating them at any age.
  7. I am not sure about Tavernier i think there is a player in there somewhere. I would want decent money for McKay but I won't argue with the rest. I am afraid I agree more with Willie Henderson though there is only about 4 I would keep if we could afford it. I liked Halliday in the begin but he seemed to nosedive.
  8. I agree that is why I say I don't mind tippy tappy possession football but then with better players that have an end product and can play their way out of a press. Maybe I just want Barcelona.
  9. On Saturday we hardly got near the penalty area for an hour be it tippy tappy or not.
  10. Agree mate but I think it is 11 or 12 now.
  11. You mean the way we had David Murray and Craig Whyte.
  12. Happy medium? Personally I think Warburton had the right idea he just never bought the right players to pull it off. I prefer the possession game but with players that can open other teams up and a defence that can defend.
  13. I have to agree re the manager. i don't see what he brings to the table to be honest. our play has gone from 71% possession to not being able to put 3 passes together. Somebody mentioned he likes High pressure well I have seen nothing of that in the last few games. I also think he is making the same mistake as Ally in setting his team up worrying about the other team too much. When he is giving a discription of his tactics and view on the game I have no idea what he is talking about and I doubt that the players do either. As you say I hope we are wrong.
  14. I hope he is but I would think his deterioration rate speaks against that.
  15. I just watched this tragic story. While the story is horrible it was great to see the Rangers supporters portrayed in such a good light.I think it will have won a few people over in Holland. His best friend in Glasgow also helps him by being a carer and he said it certainly opened my eyes to the fantastic work carers do sometimes with little praise. I have to agree with him. One negative thing for me was when he was asked if he had regrets that he did not reach the heights he could have due to his lifestyle he answered No I think I did get all I could have out of football. Fernando I can tell you certainly didn't and that was a pity.
  16. Millions of Rangers Supporters were slating Rangers players.
  17. No problem Craig I didn't think that when I saw it live it was Dutch TV commentator that said it and even then i had to look again to remember what exactly happened. There is one Barcelona player on the far side that is a yard behind the others and I think he is playing them onside. It is a close call and difficult to know exactly when the ball was kicked. If they are onside it is a terrific call from the linesman be it luck or good judgement.
  18. No problem! I will do the next one as I am on Holiday for the 2 after that and will not have use of a computer.
  19. Okay Craig I just watched it again and it the number 4 is the one that hit the post. He is definitely not offside when the free kick is taken. There are 2 players offside the number 11 and a player on the far side that was definitely not influencing play. The scorer was also definitely onside, Having watched it again I am changing my view and it was definitely onside. The 2 players at the back post were No.4 and No.7 and both were onside at the time the kick was taken. The No. 11 was offside and he took no further part in the play. You can watch it here and pause it at the time the kick was taken about 40 seconds in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0T9WlLAjH4
  20. If Foderingham would have taken control and come forward instead of back tracking he would not have put Tav in the position of having to make the tackle.
  21. I would need to watch it again to be sure and I do think it was offside by the players position but Dutch television brought up it was only offside if the Ref judged them to be influencing his play. i won't argue until i have seen it again.
  22. Whether you play the ball is also not a total get out of jail free card. You can play the ball and it still being judged a foul tackle. I think his studs just grazed the ball but not enough to change it's course si I have no problem with the decision.
  23. If your talking about the first Madrid goal then then you can discuss whether the two players who were offside were influencing the the play as the player who scored was onside. I would agree that they were in a position that the goalkeeper had to watch them so it should have been called offside. As I say it is debatable under the present unclear offside laws.
  24. We would have been better with Frankie and he was a goalkeeper.
