I know it is almost 30 degrees outside and people are a little hot under the collar. Miscommunication is the biggest cause of fall outs and arguments.

Rangers target Fabio Cardoso as Pedro Caixinha scouts out new defensive partner for Bruno Alves Fabio Cardoso is a Portugal Under 20 international playing for Vitoria Setubal The centre-back would likely command a fee of around £1.25m this summer Pedro Caixinha interested in Rashid Sumaila but is worried about work permit Rangers are pursuing a deal to sign Portuguese central defender Fabio Cardoso. The Under-20 international switched to Primeira Liga side Vitoria Setubal last summer after four years with Benfica’s B team. Under contract until 2020, the six foot one defender is likely to command a fee of around £1.25million. Poised for a clear-out of the existing squad to supplement his transfer budget, however, manager Pedro Caixinha wants to pitch the 23-year-old in beside veteran countryman Bruno Alves next season. As Sportsmail first revealed, Rangers retain an interest in Rashid Sumaila – known to Caixinha from former club Al Gharafa. Concerned over the Ghanian’s likely fee and work permit status, however, Cardoso now tops the list of players earmarked to partner a reshaped central defence following the departure of Clint Hill and the anticipated exit of Rob Kiernan. Reports in Turkey claim Galatasaray are also interested in taking Alves back to Istanbul where he spent three years with Fenerbache. Former Celtic and Fenerbache striker Pierre van Hooijdonk insists the 35-year-old is precisely the kind of player Rangers should be targeting, however, saying: ‘If Bruno is still the player in my mind then that’s the kind of player they should be signing. ‘They are going to sign some older ones and there is nothing wrong with that, because Feyenoord signed Dirk Kuyt two years ago. ‘The main thing is they need to be fit. If they are fit they can do a job for you or any club. But if it becomes like a last move or a pension then you have trouble.’ Pedro Caixinha wants to pitch the 23-year-old in beside countryman Bruno Alves next season Pedro Caixinha wants to pitch the 23-year-old in beside countryman Bruno Alves next season Caixinha has a limited transfer budget to spend, and will try to shift players on to bolster the funds available. Eight Rangers players are understood to be available with Barrie McKay yet to commit to a contract extension and Joe Garner, Andy Halliday, Josh Windass, Josh Windass, Matt Crooks, Harry Forrester and Kiernan also up for grabs. Former Rangers winger Peter Lovenkrands, meanwhile, is one of four former players returning to the club this summer as part of an academy reshuffle. Personally I prefer the Mols, Van Basten Gerd Muller, Bergkamp Suarez, Linekar kind of striker rather than a battering ram, but that is a matter of taste. I think garner is so busy looking for his opponent he forgets to lose him. -

To be honest I would rather have a clever footballer as a striker than a dodgem car -
I think he is a week to 10 days away as he has been all season.

Ill Phil and friends probably.

Come on I may live in Germany but I am still a Scot. And it was after all you who invited us. I was quite happy to go to another pub or sit on the bar for another while but it looked to me everyone was hitting the road. I was surprised when BD said everyone deserted him. As you say there will be a next time.

Thanks guy's some fantastic reading there. I will try and put my feelings on to paper tonight. I think they have been well documented though.

Brahim do you ever do anything else but let people buy you drinks. i think it must be you and not Christine that is a multimillionaire.

Personally on the youth players I saw I will only give Barjonas a chance of making it long term at Rangers. Beerman is caught out of position far too often and is extremely weak on balls put inside him. I know he is only 18 but for me that is simple basics. Kieran Tierney is only 2 years older but 1000 miles better as he understands the LB position. I feel so frustrated by Waghorn. There is a good player in there but it just does not come to the surface. I am not a Garner fan to be honest. I love his work rate but I loved that with Sebo as well.

That is too simple. I proffered Warburtons style of football as Pedro's. Funnily enough his plan A was excellent and virtually the same as Celtics only they had better players to realise it. The pressing game is the way to go but you have to have the players to execute it. These players could do that in the lower leagues but the SPL was a bridge too far for them. Changing to plan B is a short term change but playing Plan A better was the better long term plan. The big thing with all top teams these days is after ball loss the 5 second press to win it back. Warburton wanted that but just didn't have the quality to put it into action. To do that you have to do it as a unit otherwise you will be chasing shadows. It is easy to say Warburton bought Rubbish but we do not know when King turned off the money tap. I also think our win against Celtic in the SC 1\2 final mudded the waters on how far down the road we were.

Let everyone write one and we can compare what everyone thinks. I put the challenge down to everyone to write a half A4(or more) on what you thought of the season. Give us your view!

I have just understood we need to get the score right, otherwise I would have won it. Well done to everyone and a good crack. Thanks Rousseau for organising it. Can I just ask that we remember Bluebear 54 for originally organising it. I hope he is watching from above.

Yes I don't get that "he is Scottish so he must be shit" I would say there are a few young Scottish players that will end far higher. Unfortunately most seem to be at Corrugated City. -

Then PC is a liar as he says the board have given him a budget -
We were better than them in the first 2 games. Only under Pedro could they dominate us.
