Europa League Draw: Rangers / Progrès Niederkorn v AEL Limassol / St Joseph's

Utrecht have a good team and should not be underrated. One of the best new breed Dutch managers. The question is how many players will they lose before we could meet them -
To be honest 24 or 25 is warm enough for me and it depends on the humidity. With 30 degrees and humid, I die.

Nah 30+ degrees getting the BBQ going with a nice cool bottle of beer and bewondering the garden.

Is stopping a goal with your hand not a red card already? -

I must admit when a keeper wastes about 3 minutes to take a bye-kick really gets on my tits. Takes time to retrieve the ball and then takes it to the other side of the goal. Kicks his studs against the post and takes ages looking round before he kicks it. I am not sure why the game should be a half=hour shorter but definitely new laws to cut down time-wasting. -
MBE in this case is his service to a sport.
-
It is in fact an MBE he got so I will change the heading.

I think we can safely say Stevie getting an MBE is also Rangers news.

You mean fifty mile McParland? He never moved further than 50 miles of Liverpool

In December he can only sign a piece of paper he cannot play for us until 1 year from now. That 6 months is a red herring. There is 11\2 months of the window to go so who is to say Hearts won't get higher offers. Hearts don't want rid of him so why should they give him away on the cheap. We wanted rid of Garner and that is the difference in prices. -

Bates and Cordoso looked pretty shaky yesterday the Coleraine strikers got passed them pretty easily on a few occasions. -

You can hardly buy a bog-roll to wipe your bum with for 250.000. I certainly wouldn't dream of selling him for that. We paid 700.000 for David Templeton to play in the lower leagues? -

If he turns out to be as good as everyone thinks then that disappointment will soon disappear. We were paying millions for these players not so long ago. -

At least Alnwick comes off his line for crosses. I don't know about Alnwicks shot stopping but Foderingham is very poor in the air for his size. If Alnwick is any good Foderingham won't be missed. -
I will agree with that and that was the very reason Arthur Numan was put back to LB. I don't know if it will work but I would try a winger who can tackle at full-back before letting him go. MOH is not frightened to put in a tackle. In the case of David Templeton you know you don't have to try it as he is made of glass. MOH can't pass you said. Passing as a forward is totally different as passing as a defender where you have the game in front of you. Not many players will beat him for speed. He will probably make the same mistakes as Beerman in the beginning but as I said Numan was also terrible in the beginning. It is a learning curve. I don't Know if he has the game for it but In Pedro's first game when he was put there I saw certain things that give me the idea it is worth a punt. He was beaten with a pass inside him as is Beermans weak point but that happens in the transition as a winger wants to hug the line. We will see what Pedro thinks of him in the near future and that is all I meant, that we know what we have in house before we show him the door. A winger reverting to full-back works regularly. Not many strikers can play CH with big Derek and dare I say it Chris Sutton being 2 that I can think of.

Just enjoying my Vinhos no Mercado

At least we will know before pushing him out the door. I don't know why but I have a feeling it may suite him and he could at least be back-up for 2 positions.

I hope they don't have a sell on percentage when we sell him for 40 million. Is he the first player we have bought direct from Celtic. -
Now we know Pedro reads the Gersnet and was listening to me. What is more. You read it here first.
-
Don't want to steal DB's thunder but the Bluebells beat Celtic ladies 4-1 tonight. Hopefully it spills over to the first team.

Garner was a Panic buy. Something Warburton said he would never do but he did. -

I am sure I read somewhere that McKay was about to sign a new contract. I am not sure where I read it though.
