The unfortunate thing with Jack is that he was pulled out of position to cover for Tavernier. Morelos fell asleep at the Killie goal but for me was our best player.

Steven Gerrard for killing the ball dead with his Gucci shoes.

Excellent post mate and I agree totally. If you have a water leak then it isn't always at the point the water is dripping. -

Sorry if you think I am tedious but it is the way I see it. Look at 90% of balls into the box and it is Katic that clears it. I also can't help if you can't see the amount of mis-passes Goldson makes. Thursday's is one you must have missed that almost caused a goal. I agree people pass to him too often but that is another story. We all see a game different and just because you see it different from me doesn't make you right and me wrong. -

You must watch a different game to me. You hit the nail on the head though with clearances. A clearance is a clearance then it is up to others to defend further. I have no idea where you dig that up from. He had at least 4 passes direct to an opponent in dangerous areas. There was one good defender on the park today and the only one to have an opponent and that was Katic. Goldson had no opponent and still managed to give the ball away. -

Arfield has been poor the last few games and as I said on post 1 Docherty was a better option. Alfie gave their defence a hell of a time but he unfortunately switched off at their goal and let OÇonner walk away from him. Tav has also been very poor this season. Goldson had his usual bomb-scare moments but I suppose his goal forgives him. The game passed Ojo pretty much by but I thought Aribo was good and is a fantastic find for the price. 12 as prett -

Surely you are not classing our support in the same basket as Hibs supporters against a Rangers player -

The great thing about playing in Europe is that the games come thick and fast. I have just unpacked my bag after returning from Luxenbourg and already League Match day One is upon us. The serious stuff starts today. Not that Europe isn't serious stuff but the league competition is our bread and butter. Europe is a nice juicy apple to bite into but our “Repas Principal” is the league competition. We were all a little bit disappointed with our 0-0 draw against Progrès Niederkorn and really it should have been an easy win given the chances we had. I try and look on the positive side of the performance and for me that was that Niederkorn never looked like they could clench a fist against us. All they did was circle the wagons and try to keep the score at 0-0. It would have been worse if we hadn't created any chances but the fact is we created 4 or five guilt edged chances. To win games we have to learn to take those chances but hopefully once we have a fixed team the goals will come, Today we nick doon the road to Kilmarnock where we have a score to settle from last season. Although we beat them early doors 3-1 in the league cup last season they managed two wins against us at Rugby park in the league. Steve Clark had them playing in a close defensive, well orginised unit who could break at speed and make the best of the chances they got. That style served them well with them taking the third spot on 67 points together with Aberdeen but with six more goals than Aberdeen. Since then they have lost some key players and also Steve Clark their manager who left to fill the Scottish managers job. Or should I say the Celtic select team. They have brought in Angelo Allessio to replace Clark and he has tried to get them playing a different style of football with pretty poor results up to now with them crashing out of Europe by Connah's Quay. After winning the first leg 2-1 away from home they crashed to a 2-0 defeat in their own midden. It will be interesting to see what tactics Allessio will have them playing . Probably back to parking the bus and hoping on a break-away. The Rangers team is hard to predict at the moment as there are so many options open to Stevie Gerrard. I think he will keep Alan McGregor in goals but McGregor has been pretty shaky of late. I have no idea what he was doing on Thursday when he half punched a ball that looked very catchable to me. That threw up Niederkorn's best chance and we are lucky the Niederkorn No. 7 didn't fancy a shot with his right foot and ballooned it over the bar with his left from about eight yards out. Maybe bringing Wes in for a few games will waken McGregor up. Tavernier is a no-brainer for the right-back position. He wasn't great on Thursday but remains one of the best attacking full-back's in Britain. It is well known that I am not a Goldson fan but I don't know Edmundson good enough to know how he will stand up to the Scottish league so I will stay with the evil I know and keep Goldson in beside Katic who is in my opinion the best defender we have at the moment. People say he can't play a ball forward but in the games I watch he plays some excellent forward passes. He is a no-brainer for me. As the team will be announced shortly I will just give my team for today. Foderingham Tavernier Goldson Katic Baracic(if fit) Davis Kamara Docherty Arfield Aribo Morelos. Come on the Gers!!! Revenge is hopefully sweet.

I question whether we can say anything after 2 games. I have never seen the league won in August.

I thought Rangers were better when Docherty came on on Thursday so I hope he stays. -
I am not really concerned about Thursday's game as Niederkorn were virtually prisoners in their own half. They had one decent chance at the Goldson\ McGregor cock-up and should have scored but apart from that they never even looked like hurting us. We really do need to take the chances we get though

You also have to remember that not one Celtic player has been called up by the compliance officer and that she was hand-picked by Liewell. She is doing her job fine with Mikey Stewart.

We really have to start with Alfie and keep Defoe as an impact player coming on. Alfie's movement and pulling defenders around started giving the other players room. With Defoe it is stop his supply and he is a waste of a jersey. That is a danger in itself and he will score goals but with Alfie it takes two defenders to stop him.

No way the SFA\SPFL would agree to that so that is a no goer.

NAC should really be a Ere Divisie team due to the reasonable support they have. They seem to get promoted and survive for a good few seasons and then have a stinker of a season and get relegated. I would imagine that NAC will be chief candidate to be promoted so really I don't think there will be much difference between NAC and the bottom half of the Ere Divisie. If he can get a regular game I would say it is a good move -
He shouldn't either Goldson is the weak link by far. He was lucky again on Thursday giving the ball away to a Niederkorn player who shot at goal. Then after McGregor made a gash of punching the ball away Goldson let his player get away from him to cross into the middle. Thankfully they put their best chance of the game over the bar.

It is really quite logical mate. Friendlies at Ibrox they would prefer people in the stadium so make the price high near to the price of a ticket. A Euro tie away from home they want to sell as much RTV as possible, make the price attractive for people to buy it. You will probably find if we have nothing to play for near the end of the season prices will drop to 5.99.

Do you get rewarded if you don't turn up.

They already have a podcast but that is easy. They may have discussed Rangers Radio but it is a dead end as the BBC have the contract for Radio and to show highlights. It is up for grabs after this season but I doubt clubs would be interested on putting in bids against them

I have lived in the Netherlands for the best part of my life and have only really seen it on special occassions such as the kings Birthday or if their kids pass exams to name two. The Dutch are very nationalistic though and have many special occasions.
