Pedro, a man with dignity. Rangers v Dundee preview.
pete replied to cooponthewing's topic in Rangers Chat
No prejudices on my part but I can't speak for you. If you think this tempo was good enough to beat one of the top teams then I am afraid you will be totally disappointed. Candeias and Moreless were excellent. Kranjcar should have been released he is just slowing down play. Pena looks as fit as me and he and Dorrans at the Dundee goal looked like spectators. Dundee pressed us for 10 minutes and we were all over the place. I am now dreading playing Celtic after performances like this. Thankfully it is different circumstances and different application(I hope) -

Boring and slow tempo as fff possible. If this team play like that against the tims it will be another walk over for them. Tom Miller keeps saying Alves plays effortlessly well it looks to me if the whole team is playing effortlessly. If we want to start beating the top teams we need a far higher tempo than this. -
Under UEFA rules a club may not take an FA to court. Whether it happens or not is another story but there could be UEFA sanctions to follow on all Scottish football.
-
I agree on EBT's but disagree on the Europa licence I think they think they are smart and the compliance officer will judge against us as officially we cannot take them to court. That will give Celtic their poodle prize and the hoards are already foaming at the mouth. They actually think the SFA's statement is the start to a victory and title stripping.

Match Preview Schedule 2017/18 (All writers welcome)

I will do the next Thistle game. so that leaves Thistle cup and Accies. If someone would prefer the Thistle league game to the cup then I have no problem swapping. I will also do one in October but will give others the first choice. -

I am sure my father played for Sandyford although that would have been in the 50's. I know he played alongside Danny Mcgrains father. As he came from Anderston it is very likely. I also came from kelvinhaugh but the only Sandyford team I can remember was the Sandyford BB team so I don't think it existed when I was young. -
Always beware of burning your bridges comes to mind. Personally I don't think a new manager would take him back either he is just not rangers type of player unless we adopt Ally type tactics of sitting back and letting our opponents play. One disappointing thing is that managers don't tell players they are not welcome anymore. That seems to be a Rangers thing as McCulloch and the rest who left before Warburton said the same.

No it was a joke mate, that is why I put the smiley in. Please excuse my sense of humour.

I would spend the whole day shagging Shakira. In fact you would need to get a crane to pull me off in time for training.

I prefer to think of Chivas Regal.

It is a bit like saying I only painted it black because I had no white paint. That doesn't make it any less black. -
I watched England game next to the Scottish game and they were absolutely crap. Southgate said that was their best performance under him, well if that is so he wants to leave now. It is no wonder Scotland almost beat them. They did win but the performance was piss poor. Even the American show hosts stated watching the Germans in the highlights show after the game. " Germany are everything England are not." They may make the WC but once there there they will be home quicker than diarrhoea entering the WC pan.

It may be bullshit but we can't deny it fits in with performances on the park. Lack of communication was what we were saying last season that it looked like the players had no idea what they were doing. Even this season if we play the forward press then it only lasts about 20 minutes. If you look to the south side they are virtually pressing for most of the game. No smoke without fire and straight from the horses mouth spring to mind. He is speaking from within rejection of course.

That would explain it mate I was right down at the bottom of it and it was just packed in. I had the choice in other occasions but chose to go to the seating even although all my mates\colleagues went to the standing area. Even although they had seating tickets they just jump the turnstile when the steward is otherwise occupied. that was the other reason I preferred just to go to my seat.
-
I was at Dortmund but I can't remember seeing a seat and there were certainly more people per seat if there was one. maybe it was meant to be that but it certainly wasn't. I know there is a lot of dodging the turnstile there though.
-
While I totally agree don't get me wrong with that, having a bigger attendance may help to finance the disabled area a bit like using it as a horse to pull the cart.

Not in the same class as above but I think Dalgleish would be a sub-topper.

Black Peter or Zwarte Piet as it is in Dutch has split the nation in half. All of the anti-racist groups want him banned. Some city councils have banned him and others say he has been in our history for hundreds of years and he belongs there. Most normal Dutch people won't bow to the offended and want him to remain. Some councils have made coloured Piet out of it and have all different colours and some have made Soot Piet out of it with a white face made to look sooty as he comes down the chimney. He was always a helper of Sinterklaas (which is the Dutch Santa Claus) taking the presents down the chimney's but now the anti groups say he should be equal to Sinterklaas and not his slave. The debate will explode again in December.

Rangers used to get 5000 at reseve games. Pedro said up until the last day at least 2 new signings were coming in. That would make him a liar then. -

I don't think you can count them as they are loan and I feel the DOF has more to do with them as Pedro. -

What I find interesting if that is the right word is that after Prógres we never bought one player apart from Dorrans who obviously is a board choice or recommendation. That was even with Pedro saying we are going to be bringing in more players. I just wonder how much backing he has from the board. -
How often is Ian Croker going to mention six Celtic players.

Agree to a point but there are limits of course. It is getting now that you don't dare to speak because someone will find a word offensive. I was watching an astronomy programme last week and they were discussing black holes. I thought the BBC phone must be red hot with complaints. -

Yes and you can also find something to be offended about in everything. Being offended seems to be a modern trend so I have added the word offendedness into my dictionary. Maybe we should add a score of offendednes from 1 to 10. 1 being slightly offended to 10 being very offended. Humour is seemingly a thing of the past. -

English is in fact a Germanic language. I suppose that makes the whole of the English speaking world, Huns.
