Rangers sold Barrie McKay to Nottingham Forest on the cheap, says winger's agent
pete replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Pena 3mill Herrera 1mil Dalcio wage + loan money Pay off arabs ????? 7months wages ???? pay off 500.000 European money 2 million + 6 European games at Ibrox 3-4 million. Can't be far short of 10 mill. -
Toothless performance. 1-0 behind and we stand and watched the Dutch pass it around. Than god Mckay is not going to be manager. Bringing Cummings on with 4 minutes to go while he has a balloon as CF. Now I know why I don't want a Scottish manager at Rangers. Watching football like this every week would kill me.

Jack was also applauded at times to be honest. He actually looks a good back and can read the game well. From what I have seen of McLean I am afraid I don't see a Rangers player there. He let his man go for the goal. It was offside twice though. McGregor has also not shown he was worth all the poohah to get him into the team. Where the hell did we dig up that Philips? He must be one of the worst players I have ever seen in a Scotland shirt. He will probably score now.

NACHO HOPES Former Rangers star Nacho Novo throws hat into ring for Clyde job The 38-year-old has been out of the game since quitting Glentoran and was unsuccessful in applying for the Airdrie post in August RANGERS legend Nacho Novo is one of the names under consideration to become the new manager of League 2 side Clyde. The 38-year-old scored over 70 goals during a 6 year spell at Ibrox which included winning three Championships, two Scottish Cups and one League Cup as well as hitting the winning penalty in a shoot-out that took Gers through to the UEFA Cup final in 2008. Novi could make his managerial bow with Clyde The Spaniard who also played for Raith Rovers, Dundee, Sporting Gijon, Legia Warsaw, Morton, Carlisle United and Carolina Railhawks ended his playing career with a stint at Northern Irish side Glentoran last season. An application to become the manager of Airdrie in August was unsuccessful and Novo has now thrown his hat into the ring to replace Jim Chapman at the Bully Wee following his sacking last week. The Broadwood club will have under-20 coach Tony McNally in charge for a second game when they face Stirling Albion tomorrow with interviews to become their new boss expected to start early next week. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/1817641/rangers-hero-nacho-novo-clyde-manager/

The one thing that I am not so sure about McInnes is then Why is it taking so long? If they only are interested in McInnes it would have been rounded off at least a week ago.
-
To be fair he only got about 6 games. The mistake he made was thinking he could get hump it farmers to be passing game football players. With Inter he came against the same as PLG an older squad not willing to accept change.

Unless Pena and Herrera all of a sudden become super players The Caixinha calamity must have cost at least 10 million. -
Son of former Rangers defender becomes youngest ever Wigan Athletic player
pete replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
His father one of the oldest players and the son one of the youngest. Funny that. -

I think Rangers would be a great job for FdB. I am not sure FdB would make a great job of Rangers. It would certainly be a more exciting choice than has been mentioned until now. Playing from the back would be his first call.

I hope they mean Saturday + a week.

No chance of it happening and it has been discussed in the other thread. The latest is that McInnes will be appointed later today.

Son of former Rangers defender becomes youngest ever Wigan Athletic player JENSEN Weir, son of former Rangers and Scotland defender David, has become Wigan Athletic's youngest ever player. The 15-year-old midfielder came off the bench during the Latics' 4-0 defeat to Accrington Stanley in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday. Wigan named a youthful side for the cup clash, with three players making their senior debuts. And Weir set a new club record when he replaced Will McGuffie with 21 minutes remaining, making his first team bow aged 15 years and 280 days. The midfielder captains Scotland's Under-16 side and featured in the Victory Shield for his country last month. And youth coach Nick Chadwick was impressed with the youngster, telling Wigan Today: “Jensen’s a terrific talent, and the fact he was out there shows how much we think of him. “He’s a level-headed boy, from a good family, and he’s earned his opportunity. “He’s been terrific for us at Under-18 level, and he’s been terrific when he’s captained Scotland at Under-16 level. “There’s some terrific work going on with Jensen, and the rest of the Under-16s at Christopher Park. “The coaches there will be proud of him and I’m sure his family will be as well.” http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/15648574.Son_of_former_Rangers_defender_becomes_youngest_ever_Wigan_Athletic_player/

Scotland call ups a 'laughing stock', says Kris Boyd
pete replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I have no idea why Fletcher got near the Scottish team. He is not hopeless but also not very good. -
I sincerely doubt Gio will leave Feynoord for Rangers unless he is sacked. He is under some pressure but I doubt he will be sacked just yet.
-
Holt has certainly improved the team. I am not sure he is good enough to take us up to be Champions and European level but he should be instrumental in getting us 2nd place this season. That is unless some players come in in January to get us fighting with the tims. That 3 mill for Pena could have got us a player that could make a difference. Unfortunately I doubt Pena will.
-
Even although he is not scoring he is still our best player. His work for the team is second to none. He needs to be told he is doing great and the goals will come again. Don't forget he also has almost a season played already. It was always going to be the case in the amount of games he has played already.

Stevie Aitken: I gave Ross McCrorie his debut at Dumbarton...
pete replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I am not saying I think Wilson is now the new saviour. When he plays bad I will say it, but if he is good I will also say it. I am not out to pull any Rangers player or manager down for the hell of it. With Pedro I just never seen any line where I thought that the players were reacting to his methods. I honestly wish he had been a success as he was a fantastic person. I also think I had more critique on Kiernan than Wilson and I do not know how much of Wilsons uncertainty came from playing with Kiernan. I just never saw a top Football player in Kiernan. I have not seen much from Alves at Rangers that mirrors the success that he seems to have had everywhere else. That can also be because he has to get used to his pairing or Scottish football or maybe his age is catching up with him. Time will tell. I don't think there has been a Rangers player or manager that I have not written negative things about because I don't think there is any player in the world that does not do negative things. If Wilson keeps playing as he is then it will be hard for any manager to drop him and I don't think Alves has done enough to guarantee himself a secured starting place. His time for me starts with Rangers. I don't give a shit what he has done in the past for other clubs. -
I have said before and I still honestly believe that all the players should have a few hours training a week from a sprinting coach. Learning to sprint properly would make a big difference to the speed of the team.

He was banned for the first game and on the bench for the second. Either Mutry rested him or he is rewarding Wilson and MÇrorie and Alvis will have to fight for his place back in the team. Let's face it. He has not been great. -
All you have to look at is see how well Windass played and you will get all different stories
