We have played them twice in cups and the time under White we lost both games and he was sacked the next day.

I doubt it will be a straight 25 mill. It probably will be appearance bonded. something like 15 mill. 50 games 10mill \ 100 games 10mill -

Sorry mate in professional football you just don't have time to take in all that is around you and organise things before you make a move. Some of these guys run 100mtrs in 12 seconds so they cover 6 to 10 meters in seconds. That is why they train every day so that these things become an automation. For what it is worth I played a reasonable level of amateur football myself for more than 40 years many as defender in all positions and many as the old fashioned sweeper so I have a fair idea how to defend and organise a defence. -
Yes stop the quadruple treble.

I agree with DMAA about his risk assessment and that is what should have urged Goldson to go to the player in front as he was the biggest risk at that moment. -

I can only say FF as I don't look in others but Moonlighter posts everything there as well. -

The biggest risk in this situation is the man with the ball and what he can do with it. If you can stop the cross they can have ten players in there. I don't think it is only me you are debating with, I think most agree Katic has to step out to cut off the route to goal -

That was posted before with a second page where Brandon Barker was quoted as a target. If genuine we have two of their targets -

I don't want to take anything away from Arfield but if I was the Midtjylland manager I would have been furious at the feeble attempt of the first 2 players. The slide in was brilliant. I don't get your waiting 2 seconds for Goldson to see what Katic is doing. Goldson has a perfect view right along the line and can see Katic, the attacker and the player with the ball, This is near the beginning of the move the player with the ball advanced another 3 yards before crossing. Katic was obviously trying to get as near as possible to narrow the angle of the cross and cut off the route to goal. Goldson had his few seconds but decided to stick with his own player until it was too late. -

Isn't it great we are discussing football matters and not off field matters. -

I agree to a a point with the flanagan ball but he could have taken another touch and pulled the player away from Jones and I think that is what Jones was expecting. One thing I will say though is that Jones made totally no attempt to get back and track. As I said in another thread a leak is not always where the drip is. -
Even when they were talking about Rangers the discussion kept going back to Aberdeen and what was happening there.

I would be quite happy if he could master one.

Sorry the only one I see here making the right decision is Katic. Katic has to go to him. If he stays with his player the attacking back can run in on goal. Goldson is standing watching instead of moving across. Tavernier is marking Goldson and could have taken Koby if Goldson made an effort to get to the other player. Kamara is a mile from his player. Davis is watching and Docherty had seen the man at the back post but is too late to get to him to play a part. Blaming Katic for this is a joke. If anybody has made a wrong lazy decision here it is Goldson. -
Ojo for me was a thorn in the sides of defenders all night and 2 assists and a goal makes it hard for me to see past him. The referee could have given him a number of fouls that he strangely chose to play on. I actually thought Jack was not as good as normal. Certainly not bad! Just a notch below his normal standard. As I said in another thread, Davis can be fantastic but also frustrating at times when he slows the game down when there are better options available. If we lose Morelos in this transfer window i would head direct to Denmark and sign Sory Kaby. I think he would score for fun in our team and he links play very good as well

Can you tell me how why you think Alfie is only worth 20 mil when Tierney went for 25 mil if we can believe that? -

I have no telepathy or need it. An honest mistake is where you misplace a pass under pressure or lose out to a player while giving your best. A lazy mistake is where you let your player walk away from you or jog instead of sprinting back or don't do your best to get to a ball etc. -

Goldson was brilliant at times and both he and Katic played really well in the whole. Flanagan was the obvious offender at the goal and to blame a central defender for trying to stop a cross after that mistake is crazy. Katic makes mistakes as every defender does but I feel Goldson's mistakes are lazy mistakes and that frustrates me more than honest mistakes. -

You are absolutely Joking. Katic was immense tonight and Goldson was a bombscare on two occasions that nearly cost goals. in the 2nd minute Goldson was poor in letting Anderson shoot just past the post. That could have been a game changer. Later McGregor had a great save with his legs after Goldson failed to cut out a cross. Apart from that Goldson was solid but in every game he has bombscare moments. -

Davis is excellent at times but also very frustrating at times that he takes the option to slow the game down when a quick pass is screaming out to punish the opponents.. -
