Why Murty reverted to a system that has not worked all season I will never know. last week he stated himself that Windass was better free in a more central position and yesterday he sticks him out on the wing. I will agree that Pena was not right for the Hibs game but today was made for him. Kranjcar should just be released. It is like keeping an old sick dog alive just because you selfishly can't part with it.

I have said it before I don't think Alves is that good a defender. i thought he was good at organising but as you say they were all over the place. On the last few performances Bates has been our best defender.
-
Out the frying pan into the fire springs to mind. Eck is not sitting at home because there is a queue of clubs at his front door.
-
You can but you would have to play Pena. He should have been in the team or at least on the bench.
-
I actually thought the referee was okay today. He made a few mistakes but don't we all and none were with important decisions.
-
Our team didn't show enough emotion to get a player sent off. Thoroughly deserved by St Johnstone. Lambs to the slaughter comes to mind.

There was a photo of Collum on the page so probably him. there was no info to clarify that though.

Aberdeen v Hibernian - Bobby Madden (BT Sport, 12.30pm) Dundee v Partick Thistle - Greg Aitken Hamilton Academical v Ross County - Gavin Duncan Kilmarnock v Motherwell - Euan Anderson Rangers v St Johnstone - Don Robertson Heart of Midlothian v Celtic (Sky Sports, Sunday 12.30pm) it would seem the SPFL don't want to name the referee for hearts v Celtic

Ex-Mexico international slams former Rangers boss Caixinha Former Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has a new job after his Ibrox exit... but it has started controversially, just like his spell in Glasgow ended. Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha is seen prior to the Betfred League Cup Quarter Final at Firhill Stadium on September 19, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland. Pedro Caixinha was fired by Rangers in October after a disappointing few months in charge at Ibrox. Caixinha saw Rangers record their worst ever European result, and was fired after losing a Scottish League Cup semi-final, with the team fourth in the league. He landed his first post-Rangers job this week, taking over at Mexican side Cruz Azul. So far it has begun similarly to how his Ibrox stint ended. After clashing with Rangers veteran Kenny Miller, Caixinha has begun his Cruz Azul tenure by deciding to axe veteran Cristian 'Chaco' Gimenez. Cruz Azul's forward Christian Gimenez celebrates after scoring the second goal against Tijuana during their Clausura tournament football match at the Azul stadium in Mexico City on March... Cruz Azul's Christian Gimenez Gimenez has been at the club since 2010 and is 36-years-old. Goal Mexico reported that the club captain was simply not in Caixinha's plans. Mexican publication Mundo Hispanico slammed Caixinha for 'humiliating' the 'last idol of Cruz Azul'. The controversial manager has however been called out by former Mexico international Braulio Luna, who played at the 1998 and 2002 World Cups. Luna blasted Caixinha on Twitter, declaring that he was incapable of dealing with veteran players. He wrote: "Upon learning that Caixhina was the one going to Cruz Azul, the Chaco was struck. He does not like veteran players, he does not like to deal with them, he does not like others having control over the group, if he can avoid them. Go, or the less you have the better." Luna's comments will feel familiar to Rangers fans, and Miller, 38, has come back into the team and made an impact since Caixinha's departure. Argentine star Gimenez will not have the same luxury at Cruz Azul, with Caixinha's reign only just getting started.

i don't know how it works in Britain as I only worked there a few years but i guess you all pay national insurance. The way it works in Holland( I live in Germany but get paid in the Netherlands) is that your boss pays the first 6 weeks and then you go on to the national insurance which pays out 80% of your wage. Mostly your boss makes up the other 20% but he does not have to. You stay on that for 2 years and then your boss can release you. There are many that use the system and come back to work the day before the end, stay for the statutory 3 months and then go sick again for 2 years and keep repeating. there is nothing a boss can do about it. I would imagine Rangers will also have an insurance scheme of some sort.
-
Surely Players are insured for injury? If I am off my work after 6 weeks the insurance kicks in.
-
I am afraid I don't think we will ever see a fully fit Kranjcar. I hope I am wrong.
-
He has also beaten all of our closest rivals apart from Celtic. (that is only weeks away:)) That is something Caixinha couldn't do apart from one win at Pittodrie.
-
You'll be urging him to bring in loan players next. Vuckic on loan?
-
Nothing to do with your opinion on the yellow cards it was to do with you trying to stipulate what deserves a new thread or not. You are welcome to your opinion and I respect your opinion but leave the moderating to the people who Frankie put in place.

Yeh okay Craig, you'll know what nonsense is better than me.

Another thing that worried me was that when Miller was getting attention Ross McCrorie was also lying on the ground pushing his knee. He has been pushing his knee in the last few games. i hope he is not playing with an injury.
-
It does go for everyone but Windass is the one who is now missing a game for at least 2 stupid cards that were totally unnecessary that is why I singled him out and he deserves it in my opinion. These rules are not new they are also followed in youth football. Yes he is playing great but that is all the more reason not to miss games because of stupidity. He missed most of last season through injury so he should be wanting to play every game and he is getting paid to play not for sitting in the stand.
-
He may be good for Pointless.
-
The length of time for a hamstring is depending whether it is just irritated or a tear, Irritated is normally 2 weeks but a tear you are looking at 6 to 8 weeks. As miller was stretchered off I would indeed fear for the worse.

I think Barjonas was at fault for the goal letting Stevenson walk away from him although I don't think Alvis was squeaky clean on it either. I doubt Murty will drop Alvis and rightly so. I don't think he is a great man marker and he was also poor at the Ross County goal but he is a good organiser and sees a good pass forward putting the ball sometimes right on to the toe of the forwards.

DB will you stop telling people what they can post and what not. Maybe you are a site regulator on your German site but not on here.
-
Taking one for the team is putting in a tackle, push, shove that will clear a dangerous situation. taking your shirt off after a goal or kicking the ball away is not taking one for the team. If he picked the ball up he would not have been booked.

To be fair in the past a miniscus or cartilage operation meant them opening up your knee and cutting away a part of the cartilage putting a player out for at least 6 months. Now it is keyhole surgery and you can be playing again in weeks. Football is far more physical\Athletic game as in the olden days. I remember an old Rangers player saying "We used to run 10 yards and kick the ball 40 yards. Now they pass the ball 10 yards and sprint for 40 yards"
