  1. Ross McCrorie Gives Rangers Fans Update They’ve Been Waiting For Ross McCrorie has given Rangers fans the update they’ve been waiting for – he’s back on the training pitch. The young midfielder hasn’t played for the Ibrox club since their 30th December draw with Celtic after injuring his foot during the winter break. That’s almost three months out of action for a player that was so important for the team in the first half of the season. Embed from Getty Images And he’s no doubt been missed, despite Graeme Murty strengthening the squad and, more significantly, his midfield in the January transfer window. Fans will be desperate to see McCrorie back on the pitch and he’s taken a positive step towards that today by returning to training. The young Scottish midfielder posted a picture on his Instagram Story showing his boots on after a session: That’s great news for the supporters – and a big boost for Murty as he looks to get his team back on track after two disappointing recent results. They lost 3-2 to a 10-man Celtic team at Ibrox before losing 1-0 to Kilmarnock a week later so theres real need for them to be at their best after the international break. http://www.talkingbaws.com/2018/03/ross-mccrorie-gives-rangers-fans-update-theyve-waiting/
  2. Bill I am starting to agree with you too much these days. Either you are getting soft or I am seeing the light. On this subject it is a no-brainer though. The guy's do fantastic work.
  3. Surely the club liaison manager should work both ways and he is a vehicle to put complaints to the directors.
  4. If Ally McCoist can swing a vote with his small shareholding I am sure the board would be pretty frightened of losing the C1872 vote. I agree totally that C1872 would be better using their block outside the boardroom.
  5. In the 70's I can quite believe that but political correctness wouldn't allow it now and also the Dutch economy is dependant on the Germans.
  6. I haven't heard that one but there are possibly more. We used to get the Germans trying to say it in my work and they really can't say it. There are words I have difficulty in pronouncing where they can normally tell I am English speaking.
  7. You say that as a joke but during the war(so I have been told) the Dutch used to have a sentence "De Scheveningen schapen Scheerder"(The Scheveningen Sheep sheerer) which Germans cannot pronounce, and that is how they could differentiate between A Netherlands person and a German who could speak good Dutch. The ch in Dutch is made into the same guttural sound as in our Loch
  8. Hopefully in the Atlantic ocean with that plastic accent.
  9. As someone who has seen his kids brought up in a foreign land, I and my father would have died to see them run out in the blue jersey of Scotland.
  10. Cammy still comes on now and again but he was crying out for us to realise what Murray was doing. Unfortunately no one was listening.
  11. I only remember Cammy Fraser going on about him on here. Cammy said often it was a bad bomb waiting to go off.
  12. We are going to be doing more shows Compo with things like that that on it. I believe you Boabie and 26th are already pencilled in to do something like that.
  13. Oh no we don't!
  14. I personally see it like a hung government. The smaller party can either want to govern with or go in opposition of. If our foot on the board is one person who will have very little say on matters and virtually tie the hands of club 1872, then I would say we should be looking at this from an opposition role. let the board know they have the full backing but they will not be guaranteed that backing in matters that is not in the interest of the club 1872 shareholders or RFC in general. I personally think C1872 is far stronger as an opposition block than one foot in the door.
  15. I asked my mate about Kramer and he said he is the laziest player around. He doesn't want to train and just wants to hang around the penalty area. That is also Gio's problem with him. As I said earlier his attitude stinks.
  16. While I have not been in the new hospital in Glasgow which I have only heard negative remarks over my own experience of the hospitals I have visited in the Glasgow area are that they are decades behind hospitals in the Netherlands.
  17. Personally I don't think that is just in sport. In many walks of life Scotland seems to have got left behind.
  18. Former Rangers star Bilel Mohsni admits punch-up wrecked his career but 'likable lunatic' vows to take second chance at Dundee United Mohsni clashed with Motherwell striker Lee Erwin after play-off final in 2015 The defender karate-kicked Erwin in retaliation for being shoved by the striker The 30-year-old has vowed to change opinions after signing for Dundee United By Brian Marjoribanks For The Scottish Daily Mail On an apocalyptic afternoon in Lanarkshire back in May 2015, the battle for a place in the Scottish Premiership descended into a brawl. Seconds after Rangers had succumbed to an humiliating 6-1 aggregate play-off final defeat by Motherwell, a row over a snubbed handshake sparked violent scenes on the pitch. In extraordinary pictures beamed across the UK, Ibrox defender Bilel Mohsni karate-kicked Lee Erwin in retaliation for being shoved by the striker, before the defender crashed a fist into his opponent's mouth as players from both sides piled in. +4 Rangers defender Bilel Mohsni punched Lee Erwin after play-off final in 2015 Erwin was left bleeding from the mouth during a television interview carried out on the pitch with BT Sport. The hot-headed Mohsni then had to be restrained from rushing off the Rangers team bus to start Round Two outside the ground. When he eventually calmed down, the Tunisian was left fearing he had inflicted a knock-out blow on his own career. Once described as a 'likable lunatic' by Ally McCoist, Mohsni was calmness and charm personified on Thursday as he was officially unveiled as a Dundee United player - as first revealed by Sportsmail earlier this month. Older, perhaps wiser, his wild long hair has been replaced by a close-crop - but the 30-year-old still harbours some resentment about the fallout from Fir Park. +4 Mohsni karate-kicked Erwin in retaliation for being shoved by the striker after final whistle 'Since May 31, 2015, I've had no luck at all in football. Everything has gone wrong,' said Moshni. 'What happened was a mistake, but I was heavily punished for it. 'At the end, Motherwell won so they should have celebrated with their fans but instead he (Erwin) came at me, swore at me and told me to shake hands with him. 'I wanted to go to speak to the manager and the chairman to see if I was getting another contract. 'But he (Erwin) pushed me and hit me, so I reacted. I didn't think properly, I know that. And all the way from Glasgow to Paris in my car I knew I had made a big mistake. I thought to myself: "Maybe football is over for me". 'I had teams in the English Premier League wanting me but after what happened that was finished. +4 The 30-year-old has vowed to change opinions of him after signing for Dundee United 'I was lucky to find a club in France (Angers) but then they (the SFA) gave me the big ban and I couldn't play. 'I got a seven-match ban. Three or four games would have been okay, but seven? And the Motherwell player got nothing. All of the players who were involved in the incident got nothing apart from me. 'It really affected my career because serving a seven-game ban in France took three months. I was missing for a lot and it cost me so much. Because I wasn't playing, I lost my place in the national team and I didn't get to go to the Africa Nations Cup (in 2017). 'What happened was a mistake and I know it was wrong, but they nearly banned me from football over it. I have never forgotten. It has always been on my mind.' Mohsni is also critical of the way he was treated by interim Rangers boss, Stuart McCall, in 2015. +4 Mohsni was calmness and charm personified when he was unveiled on Thursday 'After that match at Motherwell, the manager at Rangers said he was sacking me - but I was out of contract anyway,' he said. 'He didn't help me. When he joined (after Ally McCoist quit) he put me straight out of the team and when I came back from international duty, I missed the first leg of the play-off. 'I was frustrated and then he put me on with 10 minutes to go when we were 6-1 down on aggregate. What was I going to do? Am I Superman, who was going to score six goals?' After six months without a game for Angers, Mohsni joined French Ligue 2 side Paris FC before heading for Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia in September 2016. There, he says, he was unpaid and unplayed but a huge price tag was placed on his head when any clubs showed an interest in ending his Tunisian turmoil. 'Etoile Du Sahel didn't pay me and I never knew why,' said Mohsni. 'The rest of the team got their money but I didn't. This is my luck in football! 'Because they didn't pay me I took them to FIFA but that just made it worse. I was dropped from the team, then the squad and then from the stands. They even closed the gym and locked the door so I couldn't go in there to train. 'The chairman there is a politician so when I went to FIFA it wasn't good for him. He was not happy. 'I told them to cancel my contract - don't pay me and I will just leave. But they said no. 'They blocked me from moving by telling me if I wanted to sign for another club, the club in question would have to pay £5million for me. They didn't pay me wages but they were asking for £5m for me! 'Finally, FIFA got it sorted now I have been able to sign here.' Mohsni admits he never thought he would be back in Scottish football after that afternoon almost three years ago. But he has vowed to change opinions of him and help Csaba Laszlo's side to promotion via the play-offs. 'I'm happy to be here. I want to take this chance,' said Mohsni, who is in line to make his debut at home to Dunfermline tomorrow. 'It is a few years on from the incident and I want to show everyone I have grown up. 'I've had to fight for everything in my life and I am a winner. I am passionate, I give everything in games and, hopefully, I can do well here. 'The team here can still go up. I have been watching and training and there are good players here. 'It is down to confidence. If we can win a few games, then we can win some in a row but first it is all about getting that winning mentality. 'I just want to show people that I am a good player. They shouldn't just remember me for what happened in 2015. 'I will be aggressive with Dundee United but it will be controlled. I won't be fighting with anyone!'
  19. The striker was linked with a move to Ibrox last summer and the club are said to have asked to be kept in the loop. Share By Record Sport Online 08:48, 23 MAR 2018 Updated08:50, 23 MAR 2018 Sport (Image: Getty Images Europe) Share Get Rangers updates directly to your inbox Louis Moult remains a transfer target for Rangers , according to a report. The prolific former Motherwell striker left Fir Park for Preston in January but has struggled to make a dent at Deepdale. He has made just three starts since signing for the Championship club for a fee of £450,000 on a three-year deal. Moult ’s lack of game time – he is third choice behind Callum Robinson and Sean Maguire – has alerted clubs to the potential of him leaving in the summer window. Moult scored twice against Rangers in the Betfred Cup semi-final (Image: SNS Group) He was back at Motherwell last week (Image: SNS) And the Daily Mail claim Rangers have asked to be kept in the loop over his situation. Moult was linked with a move to Ibrox last summer but then boss Pedro Caixinha signed the likes of Eduardo Herrera, who is expected to leave in the next window. This summer could see a huge overhaul in Rangers striking recruitment. Herrera will almost certainly leave while Jason Cummings has been signed on a loan deal only until the summer. Alfredo Morelos , subject to big-money bids from China in January, could also go. Kenny Miller, meanwhile, is out of contract at the end of the season. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/louis-moult-back-rangers-radar-12237328
  20. Kramer scored well while at The Hague but didn't really impress with Feynoord. In the end his attitude stunk eating a greasy fast food snack while on the bench, but by then all communication with Gio was probably at zero. He is now on loan at Sparta under Advocaat and had 1 assist and 1 goal in 3 games.

Yes Murder and assault (if the circumstances are right and these are the only options) are allowed The only illegal things I frown upon are fraud/thieving, rape and racism
  22. Michiel Kramer I think he means.
  23. Yes that would be excellent. You could also do it as an apart interview although that would throw up more editing problems for Big Jaws.
  24. As it is still in a trial period it has only been open to the participants up until now.
  25. I think we have to be careful in discussing the SLO as it is possibly a personal thing. I have personally been in his vicinity twice and found him very nice and helpful. I certainly would not like to give an opinion on him one way or the other as I simply don't have any facts over a larger body of people of what he does right or wrong.
