Here's your answer It’s no secret the drone industry is blowing up. We’ve got regular drones, tiny drones, drones with infrared cameras, drones that follow you around like a lost puppy, drones that you can fly while wearing virtual reality goggles because you are a robot from the future sent back in time to save Sarah Connor. Well, you can forget all that, because Chinese company EHang has made the craziest drone yet. Called the EHang 184, it’s an all-electric quadcopter the size of a Smart Car. And it has a seat. For a person to sit in. Look at this thing! Ehang 184 Ehang What makes this different from a helicopter, you might ask? Well, helicopters aren’t autonomous — you need a trained pilot to fly ’em. The EHang 184’s cockpit has no flight controls to speak of. Instead, a passenger would simply get on board, enter their destination, and hold on for dear life as they’re automatically whisked away autonomously. EHang 184 Cockpit EHang The navigation process is backed up by a “24/7, real-time flight command center.” That, the company says, means “passengers have no need for a pilot’s license.” That sound you’re hearing right now? It’s Federal Aviation Administration staffers’ heads exploding. Read more: What it’s like to go to a ‘drone rodeo’ One question: What happens when the EHang breaks, as aircraft are wont to do? After all, flying is only one part of being a pilot. Responding to emergencies is another, far more important task. In a press release, EHang says that “in the event of an emergency, passengers can elect to halt flight and simply hover in the air with just one click.” Sounds nice — but what if hovering is impossible because the engines failed? Still, there is undeniable appeal in this idea. Getting around by taking to the skies is unquestionably better than driving from Point A to Point B while stuck in traffic behind the F-150 with the HONK TWICE FOR TRUMP bumper sticker and TruckNutz dangling off the back. But as much as I’d love to actually own one of these things, there are far too many speedbumps to see the 184 taking off any time soon.

Graeme Murty 'relieved of his duties' as Rangers manager
pete replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Was a disaster! Hopefully we will put up a fight for the last 3 games -
Then join the Liverpool supporters and make it a Christmas hit.
-
I must have missed it it does not ring a bell.
-
If Barry Scott is from Cillet Bang then maybe he was brought on to the board to have a clean-out.
-
I think it is unfortunate that Barry Scott left but I am looking at it in a positive light. Paul Murray was never going to invest big in the company so he was in it really just for the ride. All the signs are that a big change is coming. The people who seem to know things on a regular basis are all saying a bigger investor is coming in and things happening seem to be pointing to that. Yes I am going positive.

Actually Rangers and Liverpool supporters have been more connected than the tims the last few years. http://www.himg.co.uk/ i have said for a while they have been stealing songs off us through the years and I still believe they were the original Huns so with the coming of Gerrard it is time to steal, Walk On, off them. That would be better than operation Tango.

Oh good!
-
possibly it has been put on hold, or he has cancelled it is another possibility.
-
I hope they get pumped in every game.

While looking for something else I read a bit of their History and it started: Foundation and early years Borussia Dortmund in 1913 The club was founded on 19 December 1909 by a group of young men unhappy with the Catholic church-sponsored Trinity Youth, where they played football under the stern and unsympathetic eye of the local parish priest. Father Dewald was blocked at the door when he tried to break up the organizing meeting being held in a room of the local pub, Zum Wildschütz. The founders were Franz and Paul Braun, Henry Cleve, Hans Debest, Paul Dziendzielle, Franz, Julius and Wilhelm Jacobi, Hans Kahn, Gustav Müller, Franz Risse, Fritz Schulte, Hans Siebold, August Tönnesmann, Heinrich and Robert Unger, Fritz Weber and Franz Wendt. The name Borussia is Latin for Prussia but was taken from Borussia beer from the nearby Borussia brewery in Dortmund.[10] The team began playing in blue and white striped shirts with a red sash, and black shorts. In 1913, they donned the black and yellow stripes so familiar today. They have just gone up in my opinion.

i am not sure if this one has been on as it was from April 4. It is all alleged and people who don't want to be named and another witness confirmed so absolutely no base at all. Rangers supporters slammed over alleged 'sectarian' singing and assault at black tie dinner Peter Swindon @PeterSwindon Senior reporter, Sunday Herald The Rangers players and staff celebrate winning nine-in-a-row.. RANGERS supporters have been criticised over claims they sang sectarian songs at a black tie dinner in a Glasgow hotel attended by former players. There is no suggestion that former players sang sectarian songs but sources at the event on March 31 confirmed that “anti-Catholic” songs were sung. Police were later called over an alleged assault. The event named Rangers 9 In a Row 20th Anniversary Dinner saw hundreds of supporters pay £70 each to rub shoulders with former players at the Hilton Doubletree in Cambridge Street. READ MORE: Orange Order in Scotland is on the brink of collapse, according to leading historian Tom Devine One source, who asked not to be named, said: “It was ridiculous – 880 people in dinner suits chanting sectarian songs. I’m not Catholic but they shouldn’t be allowed to sing anti-Catholic songs. Some of the staff felt very uncomfortable, including an Irish member of staff who was very worried.” Anti-sectarian charity Nil by Mouth's director Dave Scott said: “It can’t be ignored that the most successful period in Rangers’ history was kickstarted by Graham Souness’ bold decision to sign Mo Johnston and other Catholic players followed, playing their part in securing the nine titles. How chanting sectarian songs at a dinner in their honour celebrates their achievements would be beyond the understanding of most people.” A source at the hotel confirmed those at the event sang songs which could be considered offensive. “It was certainly a raucous occasion and they were reminiscing by singing old Rangers songs,” said the source. “There was certainly a lot of singing.” The event was billed on Facebook as “a special night for our nine in a row greats”. Nine in a row refers to nine league titles Rangers won in successive years between 1988 and 1997. READ MORE: Orange Order in Scotland is on the brink of collapse, according to leading historian Tom Devine Police confirmed they were called to the event just after 11pm and arrested a man in connection with an alleged assault on a member of staff. Police have not received any complaint about sectarian singing. A spokeswoman said: “Police received a report of a disturbance resulting in a man being assaulted in Cambridge Street, Glasgow. Police attended and a 47-year-old man is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with an alleged assault.” It is understood the man who was assaulted was an employee of security company InHouse, which was hired to oversee the event. Managing Director Bob Wong confirmed that a member of his staff was targeted and added: “I am speaking to police about this matter.” The Police Scotland spokeswoman said officers are not currently investigating claims of sectarian singing but encouraged witnesses to come forward. “We would always advise that anyone with concerns regarding any crime is encouraged to report the matter to Police Scotland,” she added. The organisers of the event did not respond to a request for comment. They posted a list of former players they expected to attend on Facebook before the event took place. The Sunday Herald contacted former player Nacho Novo, who was pictured at the event, but he did not respond. It is not known whether any other former players attended. A hotel spokesman said: “The wellbeing and safety of our team members and guests are key priorities for us and we will always take any action we deem necessary to ensure that.”

Great you are starting optimistic and he has not even got the job yet.

I won't get involved in this one as I know nothing of Spanish football. I couldn't even pick Busquets out if he was standing next to me with a name board around his neck. Spanish, Italian or Champions league football without Rangers does not interest me one little bit.
-
Name me a top manager that didn't play professional football. There may be a few somewhere but nowhere near the top. Does being a world star make you a good manager then that is a different question. The answer to that is No.
-
I am not sure I catch you there. I would think that 30+ years of top coaching as most have been through at academies or boys clubs gives you a reasonable degree of knowledge in the sport. You can't learn football on a laptop. A laptop may aid and abet but it can not replace the human eye.
-
Yes but they missed the biggest trick. We didn't die and they know we are on their tails. The one thing you get when you know you are in an unwarranted pole position. A sore neck watching behind you.

Surely we have general and financial directors to get the business side done. A wee office lassie can also book hotels for the players we do not need a +400.000 a year manager for that. In answer to Dave M609, Marc Allen has totally nothing to do with the up grading of the youth that is Mullholland that gets the pat on the back for that. I know you are into laptop managers but all the successful managers have first and foremost been professional footballers. I think it was NEC took the laptop guy behind jurgen Klopp thinking they had a great deal. they were way in front in the league when he took over and plunged to the playoff places after he took over. If you want to watch laptop managers join a gaming site. I agree stats can help but the eye of a good scout and a manager with the proper football knowledge and man management skills will beat a laptop manager any day of the week.

Here is the full Eredivisie all ex prof footballers except one who played high amateur. You have your opinion and I have mine. I can understand a General Director not having a Football background but a technical Director that has to dictate the way forward has to have a knowledge of football in my eyes. Ajax – Marc overmars PSV- Marcel Brands Feynoord- Martin van Geel AZ- Max Huberts Utrecht- Not stated FC Twente- Jan van Hals Vitesse- Marc van Hintum Sparta – The last one Alex Pastoor done a leveign and became Manager and got the sack when Advocaat took over. Roda JC- Harm van Veldhoven Groningen- Ron Jans Heerenveen- Gerry Hamstra Den Haag- PEC Zwolle- Gerard Nijkamp (Not a Prof player but high Amateur) Heracles- Nico Jan Hoogma Excelsior- Not stated Willem 11-Joris Mathijsen NAC- Hans Smulders VVV Venlo- Stan Valckx

Well I have seen Directors of football in Holland and some in Germany but I have never seen one who hasn't played football at a prof level. So all he really is is another director with a fancy name with no idea of the professional game. what a Ckuf up. So you know better than me what I have seen. You are either a magician or a stalker.

pete replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Excellent listen and indeed we are now starting to hear people are getting more confident. Well done guys. -
Can we not just keep this team and add Morelos and Docherty and the few who are in the development squad that are good enough. Get rid of the other losers. I also think I saw the lad Billy Gilmour playing for Chelsea in the Youth cup final against Arsenal. I wasn't really watching so I have no idea how or how long he played.

Peter Martin\Maguire and Roughie what else can you expect.
