  1. 1 -0 up and should have had a pen when Morelos gets to the ball first in the box and Berra kicks him from behind. Free kick to Hearts whut?
  2. You could broadcast live during a game easily enough. In this day and age with 'tinternet' its not a difficult thing to do however there might be a licensing issue if you were to do a live commentary during a game and as I said there would likely be a 6-10 second delay due to latency etc.
  3. Theres no question that the ball hits his hand. However the man is sliding along the ground attempting to block the cross along the ground with his boot. The Hamilton player lifts the ball at waist hight directly at Martins torso from a yard away from him. Martins arm isn't in an unnatural position when the ball hits it nor would it have been if he'd been standing either. They would have been calling for a pen anyway. You cant just hit the ball off someone then claim a pen. If you can then do it every time!
  4. A soft penalty? Its getting ridiculous that results in a penalty and a booking for Martin there.
  5. Am I correct in saying that as Rangers supporters we've been fairly content (happy) with the business that we've done in this January transfer window? If that is true then that would suggest that the manager along with the DOF and his team have got most if not all of their business dealings right so far. With that said here are some stats; Season 15/16 Out of a possible 50 competitive matches Wilson played, 42 Season 16/17 Out of a possible 49 competitive matches Wilson played, 25 Season 17/18 Out of a possible 30 competitive matches Wilson played, 15 Combining all of the above stats we can see that out of a possible 129 +/-2 competitive matches Danny Wilson played a total of, 82 That's 47 matches he didn't feature in across 2 ½ seasons. If we contrast that against James Tavernier who has 50, 44 and 32 (extra 2 here are after Wilson transfer 30/1/18) for a total of 126 appearances. I don't know about anyone else but I can see why there might be at least some doubt about renewing his contract at the end of the season. Loyalty is all well and good but if a player who is approaching his prime at 26-7 years of age cant stay fit and ready to play then it is of little importance if he wants to stay or not, he is no good to the manager if he's not selectable, I'd be dubious about renewing his contract. It is certainly not lost on me that since the DOF and his team have completed some good business during this window that they are coming under fire from media sources because lets face it folks, with the McInnes speculation added on to it in the first attempt re: DOF having full autonomy, that is exactly what this is!
  6. Its been a long time coming and was only a matter of time before someone capitalised on Wes poor control back there. We've had our hearts in our mouths on numerous occasions at pass backs and he's often gotten away with it. Its a good job its happened against a league one team otherwise we might not have been able to get back into it.
  7. What is abuse exactly... telling him he's playing shite, or that he's not good enough? Or that they are not happy with his work rate? Don't forget, anonymity allows a person to be anyone they want on there. Telling Rangers fans who have seen the likes of Baxter, Greig, Cooper, Durrant, Ferguson, Laudrup, Gascgoine etc etc etc play to shut it isn't a particularly smart plan. I dont think he's good enough to be a smart arse nor could he lace any of those players boots and that's just some of them. Somebody should take him into that hall of fame and tell him... when you're as good as these men then you can be a smart arse with the fans SON!
  8. When he's playing in that position part of his job is to help his two other midfielder in defence and the other part is to score goals and assist the striker. It's his job! 90% of Thistles possession came from Windass and Bates poor passing. Although David Bates is weak passing the ball the work he puts in defensively gets him a pass from the fans however most fans like me will be wondering why he is the one who is always expected by our other centre to release the ball to our forwards when he quite clearly isn't very good at it. That bothers me but I tell you what... he never hides, always makes himself available and tries his heart out. Windass however, in spite of his talent, goes missing in many games puts very little work tracking anyone defensively and he loses the ball regularly either through poor passing or lack of control. The fact that he has enough skill to break forward into space, but only when he's in the centre of the park, get an assist or a goal doesn't admonish him of criticism. Fans making it known that they are not satisfied with aspects of his contribution should be a driving factor to do better. Personally I would want him to take that to heart and sort it out. As for the telling his own fans to shh... he can think it if he likes but its not going to help him with the fans by remonstrating. Once you lose the Rangers fans its a very difficult job to get them back on your side.
  9. I'm not sure if you're aware that the above reply is very similar to a... she was asking for it type of statement. Anyway I'll chose my posts better next time save myself the trouble of attempting debate.
  10. Its not a storm in a teacup since I'm not sensationalising any of it and I'm certainly no pearl clutcher either Craig mate. I'm merely drawing attention to these behaviours and asking the question, why is it OK? Incidentally I'm also including our own supporters in my critique too. As I said above there are some snide, smart arse comments some particularly vitriolic comments and there are a bunch of bears commenting too. I'm asking what our opinions are on whether being the wife of a Rangers player is enough justification to leave her open to random strangers confirmation and also at times acerbic narcissism. I'm attempting to discuss whether its just the nature of twitter or if it is because she is a Rangers player wife that has lead to a distinct lack of boundaries and respect?
  11. Exactly mate... its a bit weird, stalkerish when you think about it... I mean why are these folk even following an opposition players wife on twitter?
  12. I can understand that easily Gonzo especially if its a discussion between folk who are quite clearly going to have a difference of opinion. I could also understand it if it came from an official Rangers post or a fans group or something along those lines but it wasn't. It wasn't tagged @ Rangers, none of her posts are, it was a personal picture of her husband the only tag was to the other person in the photograph Paul Gascoigne. That in itself merited no response whatsoever. I'm more concerned with why anyone would feel it was acceptable to make any comment at all let alone opposition fans.
  13. I don't follow twitter but occasionally I'll have a read through announcements etc that are of interest to me. I noticed one this morning that upon reading I discovered its replies were just completely and utterly bizarre and begs at least a modicum of scrutiny. I would say it requires far more scrutiny than was afforded Rangers transfer discussions by the pantomime villain Spiers. It wasn't a headline grabber from a journalist nor was it a front page trending type of twitter post. It was simply a wife posting a picture, to her friends and family, of her husband at his place of work meeting a childhood hero of his. It was quite clearly an I'm happy that my mans happy since he's had a wee bit of a hard time recently type of diary entry. I am absolutely perplexed at the reaction of supporters of other Scottish football teams to this picture and I simply wondered what on earth possesses these people or indeed what mechanism is it within them that instils ANY authority or right to interject in her personal life with snide hubris, smart arse comments and in some cases a degree of vitriol? I'm not sure if my post is a commentary on social media in general or if it is simply a Rangers related thing. What makes me think that it is simply a Rangers thing is that I haven't noticed random people on other social media displaying this type of behaviour which is quite simply prying into folks personal lives. Although in saying that places like Reddit has its fair share of flamers however I would argue that sub reddits will attract that sort of attention from certain posters as they are specifically designed to be opinion based discussions on any given sub reddits topic. There are social etiquettes and manners in everyday life therefore a perfect stranger wouldn't interrupt or interfere in a conversation on the street between people that was nothing to do with them. So what is it about social media such as twitter that makes these people lose ALL sense of decorum or feel they have the validity to indulge in impulse or think this type of behaviour is in any way acceptable?
  14. He did dive about for the whole of the time he was on the field dB but with that said he was also pushed for the penalty. He used it to go over with no resistance. Tav was more than stupid in that instance. If you're up against a player who has been doing that all day you simply don't do that or give him an opportunity to use it. More importantly though, in my opinion, I don't share the view of some bears that we were good enough in the second half to win the game. We weren't! We were garbage against Frazerburgh. The three goal victory masked an extremely poor performance by us. They're a highland league side for Christ sake we should have walked over the top of them and strolled that match but we didn't, far from it, we were matched all over the park except in the forward line by them. I had more than a feeling that we were going to be beaten yesterday and its been the same all season. I have no idea what Rangers team is going to turn up in any match we're playing. I find it almost impossible to predict any game we're involved in. Hibs won the game in the midfield yesterday and from the post match interviews Murty obviously knew thats what was going on so why didn't he get a message onto the park during the first half to change it? I'm sorry folks but that is Murtys department he needs to learn to be not only be flexible with his tactics but to also react to any situation when its needed. Leaving the subs till the 70th minute to change the formation and tactics shows an indecisiveness that I don't like.
  15. He went missing for much of the game including the tracking back bits which he's normally fairly decent at. Today apart from one or two bits n bobs in the first half he looked disinterested for much of it. I was calling for him to be subbed off at around the 56min mark and thats, unlike some fans, not my normal thoughts on him.
  16. I think both DK and Murty were speaking at a Burns supper on Thursday so you're not far wrong if thats true.
  17. Judging by those shots Joe Dodoo is back at Auchenhowie also. I thought he was out on loan for the full season?
  18. Absolutely! They looked garbage because of how we were playing. They only got the chances after the second goal because Murty changed the midfield by bringing Halliday on and pushing Holt into Windass position. Halliday probably should have been put there instead because Holt and Goss work rate had the area completely locked down. Once Holt was moved into the 10 spot they brought on Dom Ball as a sitting midfielder to make their two a three and got more control of the ball mainly because Halliday simply cant play as a DMF leaving Goss to do all the leg work.
  19. Aberdeen weren't in the game they had one chance in the first half which McKay-Steven hit straight at Fod and by the time we were 2-0 in the second half they had been reduced to shooting from long range. The last 10 mins Murty changed tactics to see the game out and also changed the personnel with Halliday the sitting midfielder thats what happened. As far as wasteful in front of goal is concerned Windass had one shot saved on the line, one shot tipped over the bar in an excellent save by the keeper, won a penalty then got subbed. Morelos scored one missed a couple that he should have buried in the second half and came off pretty annoyed that he hadn't done better. We didn't have many more clear cut chances than that. We had a few that looked like they could have turned into chances but the player on the ball was either forced wide, covered by a defender or last ditch lunges/clearances put the ball out for corners etc. McCoist would often miss four maybe five score one or two from nine, ten possible chances. I'm much more concerned when we're not creating chances to be honest. We played well controlled the game and should have been two nothing up at half time. That didn't happen obviously but we did win the game two nothing and it could have been much worse for them as we made them look ordinary, they were garbage.
  20. I thought we were pretty decent tonight. Our game management was excellent up until we went 2-0 up. At that point Aberdeen just lumped the ball into the box looking for second ball and scraps. Wes made a couple of great saves and Tav and the ginger Maldini cleared a couple off the line. The new boys did pretty well overall Martin was solid at the back won his headers, Murphy linked up with John both in attack and defence and Goss was neat tidy and untroubled in the midfield showing some great passing and delivered a fair few dangerous balls from corners free kicks etc. Aberdeen in my opinion looked pretty ordinary to be honest.
  21. It's important to know what sort of format you're going adopt as it defines what you need may need. So with that said. If its just a presenter then a decent microphone and audio recording software is all it takes, Audacity is an audio recording application which is open source free and easy to use. https://www.audacityteam.org If its going to be host and guest then it needs a little bit more thought. In this case your going to need to get the voices together in any VOIP app like Skype, Dischord or Google Voice etc and record everyone including the host at the same time, from recollection I think, Audacity can only handle 3 input sources and for normal PC/Laptops this would mean that you also need virtual audio cables software like VB-Cable so that the audio from the sources can be recorded in Audacity. There is another free open source program called Voicemeeter Banana which in my opinion is much easier to use than the Audacity + VB-Cable route. https://www.vb-audio.com/index.htm Again sticking with free open source if you decided to go down the video/VOD route there is Open Broadcaster Software OBS. https://obsproject.com
  22. OK first things first to Frankie and Pete on the technical side of things how many voices are you talking about? Are you going with an anchor plus guest/s type set up or a single presenter? One presenter can be extremely cheap to do in terms of time, energy and cash the other can become more expensive in all three above categories depending on how many guests you want to have on simultaneously.
  23. Watch the video above your post.
