  1. I would tend to agree with you I couldn't see what Holt was supposed to be doing Goss on the other hand I could its just he couldn't do it very well.
  2. Hes made for a 3 at the back. Otherwise we cant have him in the team. We should have started with 3 at the back and choked their space in the midfield early but we've allowed them to get confidence on the ball. Rossiter had been doing a decent job on McGinn with no help fro Goss.
  3. Sean Goss we've gone to a 3-5-2 with Bruno in the centre. Within a couple of minutesof him coming on we get afree kick just outside their box and he whips it up and over the wall and into the net on the keeps right hand. A peach mate.
  4. Thats exactly the same team and set up that I said that we'd use in my comments at post #3 in this thread. It's almost like you copy and pasted it man for man. Of course you didn't you like me figured it out from how we've been setting up and with a little guess work replaced those who are injured/suspended with players who've been out of favour recently. Since forums/bulletin boards etc are about discussion and opinion, in my opinion, the above formation and team goes without saying really in fact its almost a tautology. In my opinion I would like to flood the midfield and deny Hibs any space in there at all with a 3-5-2. Of course I know that it is unlikely that they will use 3-5-2 and that our temp management team will go with the tried and tested set up of 4-2-3-1 with the afore mentioned names making up that formation with only one player in Rossiter being a possible talking point should he make the team. That doesnt leave much room for discussion to be honest so inject the conversation with something to discuss. Just to make it absolutely clear... theres a massive difference between... 'I would like this to happen'... and what will happen!
  5. We're struggling in midfield with Windass, Dorans, McCrorie etc either injured or suspended and Morelos also suspended opens up a place. I would go with Alnwick, Bates, Alves and Martin in defence a midfield of Holt, Docherty and one from Rossiter or Goss as a 3-5-2 with Halliday and Tav also as part of the 5 packing the midfield possibly using Murphy as a false 10 with Cummings as a striker. But the chances are we'll go 4-2-3-1 as per usual with Alnwick, Tav, Bates Martin and Halliday. a Midfield 2 of Holt, Docherty with Murphy, Goss, Candieas and Cummings up front.
  6. Popcorn teeth is a really sore loser gesticulating with the Hearts supporters as the teams leave the field. Classless!
  7. Neither play in the Hibs game which is a worry.
  8. His moving the ball around and McCrories endeavour has been all the difference. He should have taken the free kick we got on Murphy in the last minute rather than Tav just passing it for the 3rd or 4th time back to their keeper. So naw I don't agree with you just because he skied a snapshot he had to fight for when it should have been played to him in the first place when he was in clear space.
  9. Somebody needs to put their foot on the ball here. The balls black and blue already.
  10. After the penalty we've been second to every ball 10+ yards off the pace of the game and Murphy has been absolutely anonymous for all of the first 45mins. Not even anywhere near good enough from us in spite of starting quite sharply for the first 5-10mins or so.
  11. This ref has lot the plot in this game.
  12. The poor decisions by the ref haven't stopped with the pen.
  13. A poster who doesn't post here these days.
  14. Is there an audio/video version of these interviews anywhere?
  15. Thats fair enough TB. To be honest with you its the first public strategy the board has made that has pissed me right off. If you're gonna take the gamble on glamour then you throw your chips in behind it or you make sure you've got enough chips to back it up if need be. You don't go in with two bob and a fucking power card!
  16. I don't know about any of that. Did you see the interviews after the match yesterday? If its any indication its not looking too great to be honest Sean Goss sounded his usual dull self with a little optimism as he got a game again so that wasnt really a surprise but JN sounded like someone who can hardly remember his own name and Tav sounded depressed.
  17. That wouldn't surprise me @pete cause she hasn't got a pot to piss in and seemingly owes every one from hell to Oban.
  18. Personally speaking I think its a bit much but the truth of it is that its no different to any of the other parties company NDAs. Besides your post was about free votes. I get it that you really dislike the SNP I'm perfectly fine with that position and its also perfectly acceptable to highlight SNP members like Dornan as sectarian too. I dont have any issues with any of that however your dislike of a political party does not make everything you say about them either true or untrue. So keep that in mind.
  19. As far as the speaker is concerned all votes are free however the parties generally don't allow free votes, because normally when they do... they lose. That is not a position any party wants to be in, especially if they are the governing party, as it generally triggers 'no confidence' and it really is that simple.
  20. Seriously? I don't give a monkeys about the SNP mate. NO political party in the UK allows its members to vote how they chose in parliament. NOT a single one of them. They all make regular use of the Whips. To suggest otherwise is just embarrassing.
  21. Its is Bill and to be fair its a guidance more than anything but its also been adopted by a hell of a lot of private companies since the 1992 Cadbury report.
  22. Non Exec Directors are not on a board to make managerial decisions they are there to offer independent oversight and in some rare cases constructive criticism and/or objectivity in executive decisions... i.e. “should bring an independent judgement to bear on issues of strategy, performance and resources including key appointments and standards of conduct”. In other words they are there to offer the board insight in aspects of their skill set or in their field of expertise. However NEDs are subject to the codified duties of directors contained in the Companies Act 2006 in the same way as executive directors. Of course I could be reading more into it than is actually there but what I find the most puzzling is that they have resigned without replacement or co-option of two new NEDs although that may happen in the next few days or more. The reason why I'm bringing this up is because the UK Corporate Governance Code advises that the balance of executive and non-executive directors should be such that no individual or small group of individuals can dominate the board's decision-making. Non-executive directors should comprise not less than half the board.
  23. Am I right in assuming that this is effectively a public planning permission notice and therefore should also be pinned as neighbour notification at all the relevant sites?
