Anytime Halliday is on or near the ball it freaks me out as most of the time his positioning body shape and awareness are all wrong. However tonight he did what was asked of him and tracked their attacks for most of the full match and when Kent came on he looked much better. I also thought Scott Arfield was excellent tonight cancelled out pretty much every thing they had to offer down our left and then later in the game when Kent came on was moved in one and read their play brilliantly breaking up many attacks through the middle and releasing our front line. After all that work with five minutes to go he's breaking into their left corner flag to hold the ball up lays it off to Halliday who should retain possession by moving it inside but instead he swings it into the box with no one in it giving them the ball back.

MOTM for me he was outstanding.

We've done alright so far and the midfield have put in a hell of a lot of work. They've had a lot of corners and Tavares again their most dangerous player. McGregor kept us in it with an excellent save from a Dervisivic free kick 25 yards out on our right hand side. We've not been without our chances but they've only really been half chances as yet.

To paraphrase some old political soundbite... Rotation, rotation, rotation! When we do eventually get him fit and if we're still in the Euro competition he'll be used in the squad rotation that Stevie G has been talking about. Then if he can stay fit he offers the manager more options because I think he's very capable of getting and holding a jersey. Granted there are a couple of 'IFs' that need to be considered in there for sure but I think he's good enough.

We've totally dominated that first half from start to finish. St Mirren haven't been in the game until the red card. Thats 2 games in 2 red cards... what a surprise. I think we'll score another couple in the 2nd half when this mob tires they're a Championship team and not a very good one at that. EDIT: On second viewing its possibly a red as I'm not sure Goldson is getting round in time even though I think McGregor has it covered.

I don't remember Greig taking that many pens and as Buster says above it would normally be Sandy Jardine that stepped up. Not as prolific as The Hammer but free kicks from distance was more his speciality, in fact, anywhere inside the opposition half he could rattle it. I remember him scoring an absolute peach from about 40 yards against Motherwells at Ibrox, I was in the Broomie the ball was about 10 yards inside their half on the left wing and he picked it up turned it onto his right foot and let fly. It came off his boot like an exocet missile right into the top corner of the net on the keepers right hand side.

I thought we played well for most of the 90 but that doesn't mean that the other team didn't have spells where they were dangerous. I thought they're Brazilian Tavares never put a foot wrong and was extremely difficult to get the ball off of when he had it. As far as they're concerned he's definitely their play maker. For me he's the one who has the tools to make them tick he played some cracking balls through and round our defence whenever they looked dangerous in attack.

They had three unchallenged headers in the first half that they could easily have scored from save poor finishing on their part. They got lucky with the goal as I don't think the boy means to do that and if he did he's some player. They were clean through on goal twice on our left hand side and we managed to clear it. Aye other than that it was non-existent?

We look like we will score against them to We're set up to play on the break with the two goal cushion now. I'm happy with that cause I think we'll score against them there too.

We needed those two goals in the second half cause they're a dangerous team going forward and I think they'll score at home.

We should be 2, 3 nil up here but instead we're 1-1. Ejaria has had one good flick other than that he's been a passenger. Arfields passing has been poor and needs to smarten up and our defending cross balls has been atrocious as they could have scored a couple from free kicks and corners.

Its a team game @Frankie and without the lads and the occasional lass I'd have nothing to edit mate. Its good to hear new voices too and I thought @Waltersgotstyle played a blinder and slotted in very well with the other personalities on the pod. Colin @Govan Rear Bear going off on a mazy run during the Sevco of the week and having to wait for the pod forwards to catch up allowed enough content for the personalities of the lads to show through also. I don't think the comments from either of the two of them on the Dom Ball penalty were fair enough at all. They were at pains to tell us that Coulibaly was offside when he isn't if the ball comes off a defender. If that doesn't happen then he is offside but since it does he's, to my knowledge, not offside. I'm pretty sure I've seen it in a televised game recently too. I can describe that goal, player is in an offside position when the ball comes off the inside of the defenders leg, but for the life of me I can't remember which game.

A bit of repercussion for Jacks follow through on him last season up there, May knew exactly what he was doing. The Ref didn't even notice it was a head knock until Jack sat back down.

Morelos never gave anyone any decisin to make so no he didn't @pete the ref never seen anything in it either he was acting on the advice of his linesman. Mind you the ref never seen much today so maybe if he had we'd have had more players sent off.

Its not happing if the Aberdeen player doesn't barge him twice and even at that its a booking for both since its off the ball. Remember last season when a player booted the Ginger Maldini off the ball at Ibrox nadda zilch nothing. We'll never be allowed to win this league under these conditions. Its absolutely abysmal officiating that we're seeing in our games and I'm fucking sick of it!
