Also looking at Barton recently hes done well, Rossiter himself said he is here to learn and knows full well he'd have to fight to get his place. If he has ambition then the signing of quality players around him will feed that and maybe instil a bit of pride and confidence that he has been signed along side them, it would show that he is held in the same regard. That said I still recon Barton has a mad sending off in him, he'll certainly be a target for it in the bigger games (If he signs, that is)
