  1. The fans have been brilliant again tonight. There's barely been a minute where they've not been singing. And 'the bouncy' is always great entertainment.
  2. Anyone else enjoying this Morelos/Aribo/Kent combination up front. I don't want to jinx it but this looks very dangerous.
  3. I bet they don't though. There's no need, afterall there will be no politicians rushing to condemn this, and no report by FARE or any of the other hate speech organisation. They are all too busy watching Celtic tonight, or trawling through Rangers supporters' footage to see if they can see or hear anything from big bad Rangers fans. I'm sick of these double standards.
  4. I see Arfield is back in the team. I'm really hoping he can have a good game. We need our front three to create chances and score a couple because despite what some think, this opposition is very capable of scoring a goal or two.
  5. I really couldn't care less what he sings. I really don't care what people say in general. I would however be horrified if one of our players did it because it shows a lack of class. What really does annoy me though is the double standards. If this was a Rangers player it would already be front and centre on the BBC website and there would already be dozens of tweets by MSPs declaring a national emergency. And there would be others reminding us that sectarian chants and child abuse are not as bad as tax avoidance. When Scott Brown woke up on Monday morning he had a winner's medal and another few thousand pounds in his bank account. When Tav woke up Monday morning he had no medal and fewer pounds in his bank, but at least he's the Rangers captain. Brown has to wake up every morning as the scumbag he is and no amount of medals of money will ever change that. I know who I'd rather be.
  6. We definitely need to win something and soon. There's no doubt about that, but winning isn't all that matters. Those Smith years were terrible for quality of football. I know I wasn't alone in feeling utterly bored watching a lot of our games. I could only have dreamed of our team playing the quality of football we do these days. Having said that, I'd accept a poor performance if we had won today, but not most weeks.
  7. That's what you call stating the bleeding obvious, but @craig is still correct .... they were minging. We murdered them, and if we do that in our remaining games against them, we will win.
  8. I thought our fans were amazing today. Our fans sang from start to finish. Great performance and effort all round today.
  9. Well, that's gutting but after that I'm very optimistic about the season now. If we play like that against them again, we will win. This was just one of those games. Morelos needs one goal against them. If he gets that, he'll score loads more. Great effort Rangers!!!
  10. 1-0 Kent. I can't go for my usual Gaffer scoreline after that midweek performance.
  11. Having slept on it, I woke up this morning quite concerned. I know it's just one result, but there were some warning signs in that game. Firstly, we rely too much on a small number of players. Morelos, Kent and Jack need to play well against the tougher teams, or we just don't perform. Last night we didn't have Jack or Morelos on form and although we still looked like winning in the first 30 minutes, as soon as it got tough, we didn't have our best players to pull us out of the rut. Secondly, it worries me that we don't have an on the field leader who inspires the others around them to press the reset button after a set back. So much for Davis, Goldson, Tav, Jack, etc. None of them could be seen to be trying to take control. They just looked at each other in bewilderment as the game started to unravel. Gerrard looked utterly frustrated on the sidelines. Had he been on the pitch, he knows he'd have been able to get a reaction from his team mates. Finally, it really concerns me that we can be subject to these refereeing performances. At the very least, Beaton is the most incompetent referee in the game. If he's not, then it's something a lot more sinister. The double standards were so obvious last night and I'm disgusted that he's now able to perform like that so blatantly and yet without consequence to him. Our players lost that game last night, but Beaton appeared to do his best to create the right conditions for it. He alllowed Aberdeen to drag the game into a hack-athon. They committed foul after foul without any cards being shown. In any other league in the world (even the old junior leagues) Cosgrove and Logan would have been sent off. As I said at the beginning, I'm concerned. We've got a mountain to climb now, despite it being only two points of a difference. For me it also takes the shine off this weekend. I'd rather have won that game last night than the cup at the weekend. Now we have to wait for the league game against them which is one where all the pressure is now on us.
  12. This was easy for the wrong reasons. Davis, Aribo and Kent were the only ones who looked to do the right thing. Our defence was shocking. Jack had his worst game of the season. We really shot ourselves in the foot, but there's no doubt that Beaton was Aberdeen's man of the match.
  13. How the hell have we turned an easy victory into a draw?!? I know Beaton has had a hand in it, but we've really shot ourselves in the foot tonight. Pathetic from too many in our team tonight. Other than Kent and Davis the whole team has been poor.
  14. Beaton is an absolute disgrace here. He's going to get one of our players injured unless he takes action.
  15. Our defence is non existent here. Flanagan is having the worst game in a Rangers shirt and be no idea what Helander and Goldson are doing.
  16. Half time summary: - it's been all us - should be 3 or 4 goals up - absolute balls up for their goal and as @Tannochsidebear said, we were under no pressure - Cosgrove and Logan should have been sent off. How Beaton doesn't send them off is just incredible. - Andy Walker is a bitter and twisted little runt.
  17. What was that all about???? Absolute comedy of errors there.
  18. Some of our combinations up front are great to watch. I sometimes have to pinch myself that this is my team playing like this. We can carve teams open when we want to. Kent and Morelos up front are just so dangerous.
  19. Some of our play here is excellent. No wonder Aberdeen are backing off. They know they're going to be ripped apart if they push up and press us.
  20. I was just thinking that when you posted it. His pain is so enjoyable to hear. He's such a bitter little moron. He's not given us any credit for keeping the ball away from them.
  21. Kent looks really up for this and is going to earn us a penalty at some point in this game.
  22. Cosgrove should have been booked already. I'm sick of the double standards. If Alfie had committed these fouls he'd be booked by now. This is just a thuggish team and it's now 5 fouls in the first 6 minutes.
