Economic Carnage and what it entails for Rangers

IMO no sport that relies on mass spectators should be allowed until scientifically proved to be safe to do so.The importance to health totally needs to be foremost. -

Sometimes in other sports you are so far behind irrespective of what is still to play and might "throw in the towel" but it will NEVER happen in football the so called "Gentleman's Game" -
For me it has to be v Partick Thistle circa 1962/63 as it was first football match I ever went to and since then have had many memorable/disappointing and many in between games.

Have said many times a domino effect could come in with collapse of a major club, but didn't think a virus would be the chance of the cause. -
Regards the 10 year thing I watched on BBC Scotland Scottish Cup semi sheep v Q.o.S. from 2008 and there were two players, one from each club, still playing in same side today :_ Consadine and Dobbie. P.S. only watched cause I knew sheep got humped.

Just a thought now that the lower leagues seemingly have been paid out and a task force set up to examine reconstruction should another task force not be set up to examine and correct the abnormality of the size of salary paid to Doncaster and any other at SPFL/SFA?. Doncaster's salary alone could have paid practically the WHOLE of SPFL2. -
Amazing how thing go off topic? There have been a few I've been to all for decent players who through no fault of their own had to give up:- Tam Forsyth,Ian durrant and the fundraiser for Fernando Ricksen where it was great to see so many players from his time turn up.

I know it was then too but I chose to go to away games then,I don't now,to give the team the support they needed to get us back to where we belong. Now however I am undecided whether or not to renew awaiting the so called disclosure of info regards corruption etc.as if we end up making a total arse it might become embarrassing in the least to be a fan of Gers. -

I know we are totally despised but think that to throw money away in a fruitless attempt to prove anything against Liewells cabal (I think that's the word) would be a complete miss-use of our finances as an independent inquiry will never take place. As previous posts the best way forward is to deprive all these teams the value of the "blue pound". -

Partick Thistle not taking legal action no doubt another underhand deal been done so now suppose we would be better letting sleeping dogs lie as we would have everyone and their followers against us. SPFL and all the clubs within are total spineless and cheating bastards. -
Thanks for that article it was a good read.It seems to me that many you named might have shown some promise but now linger in lower divisions over Europe mainly.

Take it you don't attend many games as it has been blatantly obvious three in particular seem to have the problem namely The Hobbit/Beaton and Clancy the latter being the worst. -

The whole thing is a shambles and I hope we make the challenge to the bending and distorting of the SPFL rules and that we do not embarrass ourselves. The only way the decision made would have any credibility would be if,in each division,if all teams had played the same amount of games therefore taking away the games in hand situation. At the moment I am giving serious consideration to giving up my season ticket IF the Gers Board make a monumental cock-up after their claims. -

Just read that Barry Ferguson's team have been named champions in similar way to Brora Rangers and that there will be no play-off for promotion to SPFL2. Also in that article there is talk of "temporary" promotion of these two teams to SPFL2 which beggars belief IMO in that there will then be three teams demoted(one via play-off),cannot be right can it?. -

Title stripping must come into it if proven IMO. never mind awarding title. -
Is this false news

We had goalkeeper, 2 FULL-BACKS(who sometimes overlapped), 2 centre half's(who would come up for corners at times),2 half-backs/inside forwards, 2 wingers and 2 forwards. Then as European games came to the fore modern day tactics/line-ups started to evolve.

Surely if the SPFL were legally challenged they would be found guilty on all kinds of underhand skullduggery? -

No they came up after beating bottom club,Berwick Rangers, in play-off,the ones I quoted all got in via applications during reconstructions.
