Spoke to him at Coop's memorial night and asked if he remembered the night and he laughed and said to Alex Totten and a couple of others at his table "Aye I remember that night,was presented with a set of golf clubs and I didn't even play that sport. Like Cammy I saw a few decent performances namely,Paterson,Bassey,Kelly in first half then in second return of Katic who apart from a couple of stray passes looked like ha had never been away injured. Was great to be there and savour the live atmosphere.

Having a shirt sponsor as in Rangers case IMO is to attract attention via TV etc. to the general public/businesses, and individuals to me do not necessarily bring that source. Personally I do not wear anything emblazoned with sports manufacturers like Nike/Adidas etc. and have to pay through the nose to do so. This is why I think having a top with just the club logo might be appropriate for some people.

As an aside on this have read that,West Ham I think,have issued tops without sponsor names which are selling like hot cakes. If we done this I would maybe buy myself a top for the first time ever.

I had same problem,think much of "sold out" is to do with social distancing,finally got one in West corner.

Having seen a video of it they ran like scared dogs with their tails between their legs,not like the Union Bears who had the wonderful display along the River Clyde.

On a serious note it would be more than sensible for Nippy to allow full attendance at Ibrox on the 31st this would negate the 2,000 allowed in and the other 47,000 congregating outside. Only mistake I made in the foregoing was to suggest that Nippy could be sensible.

Are Smartcards not just updated for the new season unless you have been lucky enough to become a first time holders then they are sent out.
