The Restoration of Rangers Graves Project. Update 12/8/16.
MacK1950 replied to The Moonlighter's topic in Rangers Chat
More amazing wok done by Moonlighter and his contacts keep it up. -
Another wait and see but from watching video two good feet, good with the head, deadly with penalties and predatory instincts all that's needed in a striker.
-
He seemed okay in the position and is obviously a signing that will be of great use. Glad to hear Frankie was a great admirer if Stuart Munro as I thought he was as good as anyone we have ever had at left back and highly underrated.

We were all younger then and doing these things was an exciting challenge.Only game I ever got lifted over was v Third Lanark at Cathkin. Remember when slightly older going to cup final v Hearts, arriving quite late and going to queue at enclosure to see that it was ticket entry."Bolloks" was my polite thought then noticed some fans paying so got a fiver out and got in just in time to DJ score first goal, had a great day.

The Founders Trail. Nominated For Travel Award.
MacK1950 replied to The Moonlighter's topic in Rangers Chat
Having been on your tour I say the recognition is wholly deserved so best of luck. To anyone who can reach and make the start time try the trip and see why the nomination has come, you won't be dissapointed:tu::thup: -
Not yet. Didn't get one for Dundee game lucky for me as I have something else on.

Going back to the Wilson situation I commented last season on him leaving a team that had gained promotion to the Premier division and stepping back to the Championship asking if he had the quality to play in the higher league. After inept displays I am now of the opinion that the question I asked of him last season has proven to be correct and that he might have some limited ability but lacks the mental strength to move up a level.

You will be well aware of the final day as Sky Sports will be in "overdrive".

Started going in 63 getting nineteen bus from Drumchapel to Govan and walking up Broomloan Road.Used to meet schoolmates at an area oppsite eighteen yard line in what is now Sandy Jardine stand and by coincidence my ST seat is not far from that area.In good weather we used to go round to Broomloan end and as I said in earlier post sit on terracing and watch games as crowds were so poor at times.

Just in from game and reading comments agree with most of them.To me when Halliday came on there was not so much threat as he slowed things down with his sideways passing ,he needs to be more forward thinking.Glad to see Holt back and as full of running as ever. Did not miss Wallace and Wilson must be wondering if he will get back in. Some of McKay's passing from midfield was excellent. All in all good performance even allowing for opposition.
-
I am 20+ on you coop and I remember being able to sit and watch games and that was on the terracing but the hype we have nowadays was not the same as going to the game was a Saturday thing to meet mates and enjoy oneself. Can't put a date on it but when the current frenzied attitudes came about thing deteriorated IMO.

With the striking problem we have at the moment and number of youngsters for the position,at the club or out on loan, the last thing we need is a loanee coming in to be developed. If getting a striker, and I know it is hard,we need some one who can come in and slot in immediately.

Unfortunately for Kiernan he still has to do a lot of covering for Tavernier, who although had a better game, still tends to wander and unlike Wallace has no right winger/midfield cover tracking back,so I think comments on him are quite harsh. Having seen Hodson I think he is a better defensive option.

The end of last season needs to be put to bed it is not easy to motivated when things are already won.We lost the cup because of too much inaction and a woeful inadequacy to defend set pieces. Let's put last season to bed and go forward into this season and hope the Hamilton game was only a blip. Many are thinking that we have a right to finish top 3 let's earn it please.
-
Yes won't see him again at the moment seems more of a nerve thing.
-
It is refreshing to have things from a different angle as in this case. On Saturday I was hoping that Waghorn would have gone off as IMO he was running about like a headless chicken most of the game and guess what he goes and scores didn't he,so no matter how you see things the game is quite unpredictable at times. I am not fond of statistics but analytical posts like this are quite interesting so thanks to the new guy:tu:
-
Looking forward to seeing some of the other players tomorrow night it is quite pleasing to know that is the case:rfc:.
-
I am not worrying too much about statistics just fed up hearing and reading the same drivel that comes out after each so called bad result it is like a stuck record.

A lot has been said regarding finances and in this situation prudence has to supercede above all else. Once we get rid of the burden imposed on us via the retail situation then we might be able to look to spend,it's a waiting game in that respect.
-
It has been a trend to take players on loan to help with their development, sign players with injury history let's get real and bin that attitude after all it is our standard we should set and also not be a rehab. centre.
-
Agreed I am fed up reading about "heated discussions" and how they can "do better" actions speak louder than words so let' have some action.

Very good article and having seen it realise I probably did Kenny an injustice when player rating.
