When talking about a quick outball I was meaning his throwing techniques which gets things moving more quickly than Wes's slow footwork and did say that his footwork was not as good.

Gilks for me,he is less likely to try fancy footwork and has a better eye for a quick out ball.

Are all clubs from countries who might participate in a revamped champions league going to be exempt?.Also will the proposed Atlantic league have promotion/relegation issues?.A lot to be thought about and IMO unworkable.

The whole law on singing is a joke,when in the confines of football stands/terracing the songs may be perceived to be wrong but are in an enclosed environment and TBH are a part of the rivalry.They should not however be aimed at living individuals if they are filled with hate.Therefore IMO fans should not be targeted within these confines. However if the same songs are sung in the street/public places that is a different matter and should be dealt with,by law.

Hardy's loan is up in December and should be brought back to give us an option if the current picks have not stepped up to the mark.

A great player I have fond memories of him and a game at Cathkin where the crowd overspilled onto the pitch where I watched the game from and was delighted when Davy scored and his momentum carried him into us and he had a slight collision with me. A humble person and years later when he was selling insurance door to door I had the pleasure of serving him a cup of tea and a blether.Unfortunately for him I did not purchase from him as his company could not match my works policy,glad to hear of his fond memories in his later years.

I don't care about the betting aspect,Barton is proving to be a chip on our shoulder and is a disruptive influence and is not needed. Halliday and Holt have proved that the midfield does not need Barton and when Rossiter is fit we have ample cover,so I would be glad if we could get rid of what is now a negative influence on the team.

Playing what is thought to be a weaker team than themselves does not fit with me IMO Scotland are on a level footing with these teams as they are that poor.

The problem in the early 80's was that as John Greig took over as Manager himself not long stopped playing he inherited an aging squad.Their only success was the Scottish Cup in 80/81and although getting decent cup runs at home and one in Europe no further success was gained and after approx 3 1/2 years at the reigns Greig was replaced with former manager Jock Wallace winning the league cup twice but not enough to placate the fans and like Greig his tenure was almost the same. Wallace was gone and then came the sensation of Graeme Souness being appointed as player manager,the first and only one to hold that position in modern times. With him came a succession of high profile signings such as Terry Butcher,the then England Captain plus many more putting Rangers firmly in the picture. The retiring of aging players caused the problem more than anything as some of the signings were not to the standards seen before and may have caused a decline in attendances Have got this from Rangers site but personally due to working rotas was unable to attend many matches in the eighties..

I remember the Gray family William the oldest was a decent player,Jim played for Clydebank before moving to Canada,Duncan arguably the best of them all never played for a main club and of course the youngest Andy went on to have a memorable career for the Arabs,Aston Villa,Scotland and of course us. Also I used to run a school team(primary) in which there was a tremendous young player who unfortunately did not make,WHY? because he was deemed to be to wee. This new kid looks small but then again he may grow.

Betting is something that I have rarely done and IMO is there for people to use.While understanding the position of the SFA I don't see where betting on football outside of the country you are playing in can affect anything. If proved that you are betting on games in which your own teams are playing in it's a different story and clubs should insert a clause of" instant dismissal "with no claim for injustice or final salary/cancelled contract payment.

Does not matter to me now what happens with Scotland yet years ago I would go to as many as I could. A succession of putrid managers and now the "green eyed god" has totally put me off.

Playing him up certainly a highly dangerous thing for the kid in a physical sense and could affect his mental state as well,but agreed that it looks more a publicity stunt for the green eyed media.

It's getting beyond a joke all the guy is doing is getting negative headlines for the club let's get positive and get shot of him as IMO he is a liability.
