Not a follower of the league down south but glad to see that Manchester teams are being made to look sh**e have no time for that city after Euro treatment of pulling plug so that their riot police hiding down side streets got to do their job.

Sorry for it being so high as he showed, today at least, he will struggle to reach a higher level in higher pressure games but no doubt a run of league games should help. Today was not his day along with McKay it was painful watching them both.

Craig not wise to take a break why not do what I done and rate players as seen,mine came from being at game and are an honest assessment. I know not everyone can be there but if viewed live or otherwise it would be interesting to see comments/comparisons. With assessments you can be negative/positive as you like.

Have just logged on and not read any posts yet but would like to give my ratings:- Gilks 9/10 would have been ten but for poor work with feet Hodson 8/10 solid display Kiernan9/10 what a difference with a proper right back at his side Hill 8/10 solid display Wallace 5/10 responsibility starting to show Holt 6/10 good first hour then faded Halliday 8/10 quietly efficient Tavernier7/10 fish out of water but some good tackles Windass 4/10 struggled to get into game Miller 9/10 gave everything till subbed McKay3/10 lazy totally off form needs a kick up backside Subs Waghorn/Garner/Dodoo all 4/10 none were a game changer

You're correct Scott the comparison was between the two Scots with Docherty saying the wrong one was played and made to eat his words with the famous tackle by Tam. This is what led to Andy's joke.

Heard it this morning before getting newspapers. My son works with the wife of a member of the backroom squad and she let him know of the news it is a disaster as in the last couple of games he was beginning to show us his class. Wonder if he will have the desire to return to football after this.

We do score but not enough and the back four IMO the culprits are Wilson?Kiernan as both Senderos and Hill are quite willing to do the basics I.E. get the ball out if necessary.

If we keep clear of injuries and suspensions the biggest league worry is v Hearts. The semi-final like all cup games is a one off and if we play to our strengths we can get through it. Although getting to the final IMO would be massive the other games have much more importance.

To me it is no longer traditional as it has not happened for the past four years. It should be moved so that families can enjoy the age old tradition of the festive period without concerns. As the fixtures are drawn by computer they can be programmed to avoid this type of thing..

Miller's contribution this season has been excellent IMO if only some of his attacking colleagues had the sense to use the spaces he creates we would be better off in goals and possibly results.

Have heard the following scenario;- On training ground Barton throwing his weight around against younger signings who were told by Halliday not to put up with and give back as good as getting,words exchanged and Weir intervened and got bad mouthful from Barton. Witnessed by Warburton who Barton then remonstrated with and was called to office and ban handed out. Reading subsequent messages from Warburton it seems that the board are dealing with situation. IMO Barton must go as no player is greater than club and bad apples have reputation of causing others to rot.

Sutton is still a total ass and always will be.

You only have to look at first photo to see where Glasgow priorities lie. The Founders trail being an award winner seemed to escape all the media,so perhaps they should be made aware of the recognition and see what the reaction is.
