Dreadful he must keep watching reruns of German goalkeeping manual, and ref learning off world cup referee(retired):ffs:

Thank goodness for a little LIGHT fun amid the doom and gloom.

What the hell has it to do with Scotland what happens down south,as you say more muck stirring.

Imaginations can run riot but the truth will out when ready.

The team still looks together mainly, but is needing a kick up the posterior. The passing movement was great but the speed element seems to have subsided and the galling part is that it starts from the goalkeeper who when unable to release a pass is clueless in his kicking. Also it is not always possible to pass the ball into the net and shots, long corners are needed to vary the play. Without decrying the lower league managers the SPL ones are more astute and get their players to stifle our movement. IMO MW has to re-write some of his tactics and have several plans and have them practiced so that they can be adopted during games when necessary.

Maybe once our centre forwards get used to the fact that we have a winger(O'Halleron) throwing in crosses they will score more, assuming MW uses him now.

Okay tonight has gone time to look to Saturday. My team Gilks Tavernier Kiernan Hill Hodson Holt Halliday Forrester O'Halleron Garner Miller
-
The long ball will probably become something we have to accept as it was apparent that Wright has sussed us out well and proper by pressing our short out balls,so Foddy better practice his kicking as tonight he was woeful. Here's hoping Saturday can put a smile back on my face as there wasn't much to smile about tonight.

Rome wasn't built in a day due to it's seven hills so we have to be patient as we climb the hills and obstacles in our way.

Until we get an inspirational captain on the pitch we will continue to struggle as I think it looks too much for Wallace, his dip in form is alarming.
-
Few pass marks tonight pick of bunch O'Halleron,Wallace was dreadful and I would like to see Gilks back in goal Foderingham slows things down too much and it is easy to see why he tries to play short balls his kick outs are dreadful. The worst person on the park was the referee he was absolutely atrocious.

Great team full of football legends and goal was breathtaking.

In a way I can understand his comments re home atmosphere as I think it is hard to generate that when seated, even with full houses. The main noise comes from the bottom of the Bromloan, whereas in away games over the last couple of seasons smaller grounds seem to have amplified our support. Will remember him for his penalty in SC semi final.

Was not impressed with him in the games that he played too slow in moving ball on seems to me like another "Ma Baw" Ferguson.

Fraser Aird weighing options after 'tough' first season in Vancouver
MacK1950 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Won't make it at Rangers his starting record in Canada proves this. -
As far as I am concerned it should be moved as Hogmanay was always an exciting family time getting ready to bring in the bells and for thousands this excitement will be taken away. how many families/relatives are going to spend their time sitting in A&E waiting for news of loved ones with the potential that exists for violence??? Football is only a game after all and should not be prioritised to suit television at this time of year.

I certainly would but it would need totally honest and trustworthy person/persons to run and administer without looking for any exhorbitant salary for doing so. Fraught with danger.

I remember when we signed Davy Cooper from Clydebank for a record £100,000 watching him play absolutely rotten at first and thinking what a waste of money--------The rest is history. So we have to give the boy a chance.

Of course I want us to be in Europe but don't want us to be a Hibs/Hearts/Aberdeen etc., falling at early qualification that wouldn't help us much financially, but would rather that we are strong enough to face it.That is why I feel an extra year would help.
-
Glad I do not do facebook/twitter/instagram etc. they may be okay for lots of people but me the dinosaur prefers to just use the forum.

Everyone seems to be going on about wages do any of you have figures(true ones) if not how can you say what is being paid/earned?. MW says that reports in the media of sums quoted are way off the mark so unless a detailed breakdown is provided it is all guesswork. Souness had his time in the wasteful period regards cash splash and bought success,we are unlikely to have that scenario again unless we want to go on another "journey" so let's be patient.
-
IMO European football even next season is too soon unless significant progress is made by the squad by results.
-
Let's see how the next few games go but like Boabie I have maintained a top 6 is a must and top 3 a bonus. I believe that decisions on signings etc. are made at board level to oversee costs and although MW can be assumed to identify signings it is then out of his hands. Regards potential managers we should not be going down that road for at least two years.
