Just in from game what a night ELATION at goal and our play DEFLATION as we went into defensive shell(not our style) PETRIFIED when they scored SQUEAKY BUM waiting for final whistle RELIEF when it blew. On way to subway subdued as adrenaline wore off.However here's to next round.

Haven't watched any of the videos but wish we don't have to put up with them. Maybe time to close this thread with latest #25 tweet it's getting that we are giving them a platform.

It may look as if I said that but we were the better team and I certainly did not say that. All I was doing was giving my view on individuals as I saw it.

Yes we played them off the park but think what we could have done without the mediocrity I posted. I posted my personal views player by player hoping I was pointing out weaknesses which if corrected could make us invincible and was pleased by our performance today.

HI guys a lot has been said in the other topic on today.I would like to give my view on performances perhaps you will too. McGregor-- picked the ball out of the net and "Scared" Johnston into missing a "sitter", money for nothing? Tavernier--a better afternoon but mix up with Goldson cost us. Goldson- mix up as above and poor headers at attacking corners otherwise sound. Helander--as Goldson but for me continues to disappoint. Barisic--showed his class but some poor crosses. Aribo--some good moments but poor reading of game cost him a couple of chances. Jack-- by far our best player,made absence of Davis his own. Kamara--not positive enough and quite anonymous. Arfield--industrious . Morelos--trying too hard and should have passed on a couple of occasions and not a penalty taker. Kent--mainly anonymous and far short of what he can do. Subs, Defoe --hardly noticed he had come on. Barker--a waste of a jersey and position on bench. Katic--on due to Helander injury and no time to show his credentials.

Feel we have to get real here we lost to a controversial goal(if VAR had been in operation) but as a staunch hater of VAR I can not complain. Alfredo I agree is trying too hard when a couple of sideways balls might have borne fruit but deja vu is a wonderful thing but a goalkeeper in sensational form will unfortunately rule the day. We were by far the better team and let's hope no serious injuries can do us out of a result on Thursday as this is now the next important step in our progress.

There are no guarantees in life unfortunately.

Feel as if I was mugged never mind the team.Starters gave their all but felt subs including Defoe offered nothing and I hope Barker is only on loan and therefore like OJO should be sent back at Christmas. Obviously what Gerrard calls his starting 18 are bereft of decent subs. Will be there on Thursday hoping we can right the wrong of today.

The team we expected except for Davis believe they can do it.

Excellent news and timing of "leak" might give team a boost for Sunday.

If no complaints were made why are they "allegedly" investigating the matter and saying"it was not a pie but a bread roll"?.

Agree being one footed does not make you a bad player but combined with other deficiencies e.g. lack of talent does not help. Your picture of my all time hero shows a man who had talent,similarly Davy Cooper. My criticism of Flanagan is not based on one game but his overall play.

I am not ashamed about any comments I made about the team as I witnessed what was abysmal play from certain individuals.

No but it was him who kicked the ball out of play,due to being one footed,which led to a goal.

As I mentioned in my post thought I saw that no doubt if Gers fan had thrown something it would have been highlighted.

I think OH NO Ojo HAS to play in every game----worrying as he is a passenger most of the time.

Have went for Aribo as he showed an appetite. Felt that Jack was used on left of midfield to babysit Flanagan who to me is one of the worst defenders we have had in years. Centre backs woeful last night so hope at least Katic comes back in for one of the preferably Helander.

While I can see your point our inability to get back into gear after the sheep goals was only our own fault.

Now to Saturday out with Helander,Flanagan last ever game I hope and hardly a pass mark between rest of the team.

Seen Tav staring at crowd after it looked as if something had been thrown at him but obviously no mention by TV.
