  1. His shareholders/stakeholders must be loving this. Watching as the company is destroying any hope of future clubs/companies/business entertaining any involvement with them while he's involved, every bit of news with them involved is fat mike torching any reputation they had.

As expected Twatter is currently full of contract lawyers, mostly with 1888 in their names who predict financial disaster for Rangers and King when General Mike reaches his bunker.

    I'm loving it. :rfcbouncy:

  2. 2 MIKE ASHLEY turned troll in his ongoing war with Rangers this afternoon when his Sports Direct firm splashed the new CELTIC kit across the top of their website's homepage.

The company, whose controversial retail deal with Rangers is to be torn-up by the Ibrox club, were also offering cut price Gers strips with the tag 'Must Go'.

The Celtic promotion was accompanied by the words 'Like No Other'. "

  3. Rangers remove Sports Direct branding from club website as they bid to kick out Mike Ashley

    BY RECORD SPORT ONLINE

WITHIN minutes of revealing they are to rip up contracts held with merchandise company they run with Sports Direct, Rangers had removed logos from their site.

RANGERS have begun the process of eradicating Mike Ashley and his business from Ibrox by removing Sports Direct branding from their official website.

Just minutes after the club revealed they were to rip up contracts held with the merchandise company they run with Sports Direct, that company’s logos had disappeared from their normal position on the site.

Currently Ashley’s firm control 49 per cent of Rangers Retail Ltd (RRL). The agreement was set-up by former chief executive Charles Green to sell replica kits and other merchandise.

  4. Someone remind me what resolution 12 is please?

It was a resolution proposed by the mank fans to their board requesting clarity and taking action against the SFA for allowing Rangers a licence to play in Europe at the time of Whyte. Their main thrust is that we owed a tax bill and should not have been allowed to play. Their own board probably know that requesting prosecution of a club already raped by alleged criminal behaviour is simply not on. Apparently though, it didn't stop them writing to UEFA seeking clarity.

  5. " Nathan Oduwa is refusing to sign a new contract at Tottenham and is hoping to impress a new club at the Olympic Games with Nigeria this summer, Sky sources understand.

Spurs triggered the option to extend his current deal until 2017 earlier this year, after the youngster impressed on loan at Rangers, but he is stalling over new terms amid interest from clubs in Spain.

Oduwa has been urged by his agent to sign the new three-year contract, which was offered by Spurs last September, but the player and his family believe he could be playing and earning more elsewhere and hope a new club will attempt to sign him after the Games. "

  6. As I forecast Ian. I got to the same point a couple of years ago.

What they forget is, despite saying they are acting within their charter and regulations, they conveniently ignore the fact that they are acting to the detriment of the hundreds of thousands of people who do hold an active interest on what Rangers are doing at that moment.

I just hope our guys upstairs don't come out with any clear the decks and start over guff during the close season and keep the bassas out next season.

  7. Football is a business though, & if people ever did things through goodwill you can bet your life that it suited them so to do. I can live without the goodwill of others, it's too nebulous a concept anyway.

I've long held the view that those in charge of football act solely in their own interests. They don't treat football as a business. They treat their own clubs as a business . Over the past few years we've seen how they've gone further and at times forgot aout their business in their haste to damage another one.

I don't want the goodwill of others. Let them do what they want. One day some Rangers fans will wake up and recognise the solution lays within their own wallets and pockets. The others need us far more than we need them.

  8. I can understand at the part of the message in the opening post about us doing pennance.

Unfortunately those with most to say governing our game now have us standing outside looking through the window and I honestly don't see them ever letting us back to the table. They have us exactly where they want us. Just wait and see what happens if we ever incur another fixture pile up at the end of the season or need to play an important European match in between domestic games.

Mark my words, they still want us dead. Title stripping hasn't gone away. All they want is our money. Glad to say they won't be seeing any of mine. Ever.

Apologies guys. The "penance" part was from Germinals thread. Oooooops.

  9. I'll whisper it in case he's listening, maybe it's Mike Ashley

The Donegal Loon assures me that General Ashleys tanks are being repaired following their last mauling at court but will be returning to invade at any minute. :seal:

  11. As I said, this is kind of contradictory. If they knew anything of what was to come, they'd have been happy. The fact they weren't happy will always make it more difficult to believe.

Warnings were also given about King and others on our board... Not many weren't sceptical of Green but there wasn't much concrete or unambiguous information forthcoming, or actually anything more constructive that could be done.

A lot of it comes down to innocent until proven guilty, but unfortunately the latter in these cases is obviously too late. The fans were between a rock and hard place, they had to invest in season tickets or the club could have gone forever.

Cal, it ios very easy to go back to the historic blogs of the tarred one. A look into Kerryfail st will show the same. They were going crazy about Whyte being able to buy us. They wanted us dead.

The warnings about King were only based on perceived offences committed in SA.

Sorry mate but rock and hard place doesn't come into it. Whyte was toxic. The warnings were there months before via Ellis.

I'll repeat - our supporters shut their ears and have nobody to blame but ourselves.
