  1. Never mind guys we won't have to play them for years unless in cup s they will hopefully take 114 tears to get promotion:devil:

They will lose at least a couple of players to pay the bills. It could be quite a while before we see them again.

  2. Finishes with a Hibs fan on saying it's a mountain out of a mole hill,no injuries reported,only 11 arrests,maybe a small fine and that's it..........

11 arrests so far. I've no doubt many more are to come. Mole hill my erchie !

  3. Post match on Saturday while having a pint I bumped into a guy I half "know". He was in the company of someone I've never met, A guy approaching his 70's I'd guess. The conversation got around to Rodgers and this fella said he's a great manager. I pointed out he'd inherited a couple of good squads but particularly with Liverpool had ruined them despite spending not short of £300 million. This was his loud retort - "Ach, you're just a bigot. "

I had no need to ask what school he went to.

  4. For anyone able to stand the smell Muirhead has his usual slant on events over on his site. Truly bizarre reading. The plastic paddy who lives in Donegal wrote one too - apparently Rangers fans were at fault when Motherwell fans invaded the park and also when the Abersheep cowards decided to assault elderly fans at Pittodrie.

  5. This statement is causing such a stir,it is being criticised by ''journalists'' like English,Speirs etc,it has caused such a stir even more that what the Statement is about, the Hobos pitch invasion and assaulting Rangers players and staff!

It is reaching a wider audience. Sky news this morning reported on "Rangers fury " .

  6. I largely agree with your reviews apart from Shiels. For me he's in the same camp as Law and Clark in that it's time for him to go. He has been a useful player for us but I just haven't seen it this season.

I thought Zelalem played very well yesterday. Nothing spectacular but always available to receive and make a pass.

  7. Fuck me our board do have balls , good on them

And I hope that they will fight every single attempt to blacken our name from now on. A ban on more of the bassas who seem to make a reasonable living out of nothing more than continually criticising Rangers would be a start.

  8. Nah, that can't be true Ian... On Twitter last night I was even reading how it was Wallace that punched the other guy. Give it a few days and they will be calling for Rangers players to be suspended for inciting a riot.

Shower of shite - I am so glad not to be living in Scotland. Sickens me.

Players are entitled to celebrate. Especially after scoring a winner in a cup final. But I haven't read or heard one word about Gray running into his own fans after scoring the winner.

  9. With all due respect buster there really isn't any "boxing clever". There is enough footage and evidence yesterday to prove what happened. Yet the mainstream media continue to not only downplay it but effectively ignore that players and staff were attacked. How do you box clever when there is effectively blanket denial by the media, politicians and even the opposing club who witnessed what their fans did ?

I don't believe it matters what we do next as it will be the usual "big bad Rangers" or "can't accept defeat" or "over reaction". We are vilified even when we are the victims. This won't change, no matter how we react.

So time to circle the wagons and look after ourselves.

As someone pointed out here earlier Craig, turn the tables and make it Rangers fans invading the park, assaulting players and the rest - how would the press, MP's, et al cover it ? An agenda has been at work for several years now. In my opinion we slept and it'll never change.

  10. For how long Boabie, a year? Two? Forever? If everyone done the same what level of support would we be able to give our team at away fixtures when they need it most? I'm not against a boycott, I wont ever set foot inside Tannadice until Thompson is gone, and I wont ever go back to the piggery either, but I know we will still sell out these venues (thankfully it wont be tannadice next season) so a boycott is a personal thing that wont be mirrored by the rest of our support.

As a long-standing member of a RSC that only goes to away games, if we were all to boycott those clubs who voted us out in 2012 we would not have a RSC left. The social side of going to Rangers games, the friends you make, the memories you retain of great away days, are all a part of what it is all about. It is usually better than the actual games!

For ever mate. I'm not a member of any RSC nowadays. I'm old enough to have a circle of long-standing friends who I socialise with pre and post match so don't need the comfort of a supporters club. I appreciate my stance is not for everyone but I've always had the same mindset - do me down or give me poor customer service and you won't get another chance. That's the reason I will never have Sky tv, bank with RBS, deal with Arnold Clark or hundreds of other things.

  11. Personally I'm hoping that when the new unified fans group make a statement they will call on all Rangers fans to boycott every away stadium in the country.

Deny them the blue pound and watch them all crumble.

No matter what happened yesterday I won't be going to watch away games. I made that pledge the day they threw us out of the league and I will be keeping it.

  12. Only 5 subs too and one was 17, great to have promising youngsters, but we need strong experienced players too. With leadership on the park. Wallace can't do it alone.

As said eleswhere here, our squad is extremely thin and had replacements been available I've no doubt MW would have made changes at half time.

  13. Sorry mate I pressed Edit instead of reply with Quote. I never changed anything.

As soon as the corners were given I buried my head in a cushion. I virtually knew what was coming. It was 2 cracking corners I must admit but our defending is abysmal.

Yesterday took me back to some of the matches, particularly in Europe during the Klos era, when I buried my head in my arms every time some team got a corner or free kick near goal. A dominating centre half who'll fit into the managers plan of playing football on the ground will be hard to find.

We've been very very good this season and some of our football has been a delight, imo the best in Scotland at times. MW cobbled together a thin squad which has played well above what I expected and I've every confidence we'll only get stronger for next season. I don't expect to win the league. In fact I'd be happy to finish in the top 6 with the prospect of making a real challenge the next season.

  14. Their supposed ST boycott re. Res.12 has just died a death with the appointment of Rodgers.

Unless Rodgers has the ability of Messi and is willing to pull on a pair of boots or Panama Desmond draws out 10 million from his bank it will make no great difference.

In amongst all the slabbering from the manks there's one thing they seem to forget - Liverpool SACKED Rodgers. Several pundits and the majority of Liverpool supporters continually criticised him for playing players out of position. He spent over £290 million in his time.

  15. You can just imagine how many of them will be tuned into the cup final........................

A pub I used to drink in had a whole crowd of them who sat in a seperate area they called the 'sportsmans lounge". There was a midweek match where we were playing the sheep who went one up. We banged in 3 and that mob switched their tv over to watch Corrie or something.

Should Hivs take the lead every mank in Scotland will be watching.

  16. Maybe I am wrong, but "we" did not cut the ties with the BBC or BBC Scotland, but we took the press credentials of Scrote. Perhaps Scrote speaks of himself in the Pluralis Majestatis when saying "us", but the above might actually be a straight forward lie.

I think we all see the scenario -----

    A phone rings at Ibrox.

"Hello, this is Scrote here. Can I ask ...." Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
