  1. "Top six" - stop talking absolute nonsense.

Also I suggest you read Dave Kings response in regards to the ongoing legal battles.

As to our final position next season, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Regarding King - I believe what he said about the ownership being safe. But we've yet to see the colour of his money. So thanks, but I'll stand by what I said about piles of cash being thrown at the club.

  2. I feel the insanity is becoming more intense if anything because for one thing the Scottish cup defeat was in many ways the most humiliating old firm defeat they have ever suffered. Yes it came down to a virtual coin toss which penalties are but they were totally outplayed after a lot of waffle from Sutton etc. about it going to be 4 or 5 nil.

That display set alarm bells ringing in the crazy bubble. Could they come back and win the league in their first year back? Which would expose our wins while they were gone as almost meaningless? That's the latest terror to creep into their crazy bubble and if we hit the ground running in the same manner we did last season while they stutter then heaven forbid lose the first derby at home the insanity will hit a critical mass.

And we also have the sight of Brown being wound up by Barton to an extent that if he then struggles against Barton in their first meeting he may be a red card liability which is comical since It's Joey and not Brown who was thought to be the greatest risk of that.

The nearer the kick off comes the more I sense trepidation from their support while ours can't wait for it to begin.

I read the mank sites leading up to that match. They were confidently boasting that they would score more than seven. Nobody took more pleasure from the final result than I did. It led to a ban from another couple of sites but was worth it.

  3. I'd agree that sentence is sufficient for the Hibbee. One daft act and he has a permanent stain on his character. As for the Rangers fan if that is all he did then I could be facing a life sentence for all the daft behaviour I have engaged in :sigh:

All fair and well until you remember the tosspots interviews in the media where he told a load of lies and received a couple of days coverage where he was seen as some sort of victim. The guy is plainly a liar and deserves no sympathy whatsoever.

  4. I don't want us to be spending any money we can't afford but we're going to be have to start spending some cash if we want to become a half decent European side.

If you were sat in the Rangers boardroom from any time since the criminal paperwork was issued, to say nothing about the civil case chancers at Worthington, etc then you would know that only a fool would throw tens of millions at Rangers right now.

I took some stick a couple of weeks ago but stand by what I said - top six. When the criminal stuff has ended and those responsible are behind bars, and clarity shows who actually owns the company called Rangers, we can maybe look towards a Rangers minded person throwing some serious cash at improving us.

To sum up - if I had money I would not be looking at signing top margque players.

  5. My daughter used to go to coaching via her school. It cost £3. They announced summer classes at Bellahouston with McGarvey taking charge. The cost went up to 7 quid. There was no way I was handing my hard earned over to that tramp to blow in the bookies.

  6. " A Hibs fan has been sentenced to 240 hours of unpaid work after admitting his part in a pitch invasion at the Scottish Cup final.

Greg Binnie, 19, earlier pleaded guilty to running at and making offensive gestures towards Rangers' goalkeeper Wes Foderingham after climbing over fencing at Hampden Park on 21 May.

Binnie must also stay in his home between 20:00 and 06:00 for two months.

The teenager, from Ratho in Edinburgh, was sentenced at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

He was charged under the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act and accused of being engaged in behaviour which was likely to incite trouble.

    'Boyhood stupidity'

Hibernian FC have issued Binnie with an indefinite ban from watching the team playing or buying any tickets for home or away games.

The court heard Binnie climbed over fencing and entered the field of play immediately after the end of the match between Rangers and Hibs, which the Edinburgh side won 3-2 after a last minute goal.

Binnie, a former SFA intern, was working as a squash coach at George Watson's college in Edinburgh but has since lost his job. "

Scandalous when you see others being jailed for less.

  7. " Mike Ashley has been ordered by a judge to pay legal bills for the Scottish FA and Dave King.

The Sports Direct tycoon's lawyers were told on Thursday that the their client will have to pay the football governing body and the Rangers chairman's costs.

STV News understands the SFA's costs amount to around £100,000 and King's a low five-figure sum.

Ashley had abandoned a judicial review at Edinburgh's Court of Session in which he wanted judge Lord Bannatyne to overturn the SFA's decision to class King as a "fit and proper person" to be involved in football.

However, the Newcastle United owner had dropped the action in April 2016 shortly after receiving information about King's finances.

The information had been used by the SFA in their May 2015 deliberations and Ashley's decision to stop the action came on the first day of proceedings. "

  8. " Dundee United Ray McKinnon has hailed the marquee signing of Scotland goalkeeper Cammy Bell as a “major coup” for the Tangerines.

Bell has agreed a deal with the Tannadice club after securing a severance package from Rangers and the move will be formally confirmed today.

Being able to persuade the 29-year-old to wave goodbye to the prospect of life in the Premiership next season with the Light Blues for a switch to the Championship with United is a terrific piece of business by McKinnon. "

  9. As I write, the shrill shills behind Res 12 endeavour to keep their bunco boat afloat.

We should expect no less when there are T-shirts to sell (20GBP a pop, no less) and crowdfunding to skim, I mean source.

Their efforts (spoiler alert) are reminiscent of the finale of El Cid, where the corpse of the dead Cid is strapped upright upon

his charger and taken into the first line of battle, to convince the troops that he is alive, and thus to inspire them for forthcoming

    conflict.

There are severe mental gymnastics ongoing with some of the main movers trying desperately to keep the whole thing going. They must have hunners of their scabby t-shirts to shift. Their latest lie is they've letters of reply from UEFA which will blow Scottish football apart ----------- yet again ! :seal:

Not a word on what the letters say but all will be revealed in a week.

  10. I can't watch England because of the commentators, enjoyed Wales dominating a very very poor Russian side though.

According to the match commentator, Wales will draw a 3rd place side in the ko stages, anyone know why they get that privilege given that only four 3rd placed teams will go through yet 6 teams will finish top?

I believe they have already sorted out where the teams who won their sections will play. It was all done before the main draw was made. Who would play who was also sorted at that time. It was then not just who you were drawn against in the first round but also which group you were drawn in as the right group would see you play a team which finished third.

  11. They didn't vote to throw us out of Scottish football though, they didn't have that remit.

The SPL clubs voted to throw us out of the SPL. As far as they were concerned that was the end of the matter. They had no interest in where else we played. Take a look back at what they were saying at the time - they wanted us dead. Had the clubs in the divisions below not voted to allow us into the bottom tier we would not be playing football.
