  1. Unless Rangers can find a legal route to end our contract with Ashley we're just going to have to face things remaining as they are right now.

Ashley will sit back and accept whatever pittance he earns from us. It won't harm his business. He'll have the satisfaction of knowing that he is affecting/bothering King and that will be enough for him.

  2. Boabie, do you think that BlueGates should not have asked the questions shown on his screen shot before investing? Do you think that before he parts with his hard-earned disposible income that he should not have clarification of the scheme in question?

I think that he is doing a service for lots of other fans who are seeking answers.

I really do believe that the amalgamation of RF & RST has caused a problem for a lot of fans.

Yeah, I know Bearger and Plgsarmy that that aspersion will cause you to bristle !!

Barca, can I say straight off that I'm not aligned with any of the various and usual factions that seem to appear to spread discord every time "anything" that affects our club comes to the fore. I'm simply a Rangers supporter who makes my own mind up when it comes to parting with my hard earned cash. I've no axe to grind with anyone.

Yes, of course the answers to BG's questions should be known. My money is involved too so I want to know.

But having said that, and I apologise in advance to BG if this was not his intention, the contents of that screenshot appear to me to be the work of somebody seeking to discredit the whole operation. If I was the person receiving that Email I would be very suspicious of it. The manner in which it is put together, seeking clarification on miniscule minutiae speaks to me of a representative of some disaffected group who very much DO have an axe to grind. The mention of another forum does not surprise me in the least.

The whole Emails disappearing, etc thing is something I'll say nothing about simply because I don't have the facts at hand.

Yes, all those questions should be answered and I look forward to reading those answers soon. If they aren't answered then I'll be shouting too. But the manner of their asking suggests something rather than a guy interested in investing being at work.

Once again BG , I apologise if I've got it all wrong.

  3. I've nothing to hide but will abide by the board rules if I am breaching them

BG. I don't know you and have only learned of this debate within the last hour or so. Forgive me if I appear a bit dense here but from your screenshot above am I wrong in saying that you have not invested a penny in any of the schemes but decided to send a shitload of questions a Philadelphia lawyer would be proud of before deciding whether to get involved.

If I am wrong I apologise mate.

  4. The fanny J.James has managed to indulge in even more mental gymnastics and has twisted the latest "bomb" into another new/old club blog just posted this morning.

He is obviously sick of having his drivel analysed , disected and corrected, even if he was too scared to actually post my replies to him, and has now banned me from comment.

Yet another yahoo to hold up to further ridicule. :seal:

  5. 8pm and not a word yet.

Yon fanny James Forrest has spent weeks annalysing the UEFA letter and is obviously struggling to twist a story out of it. What's the betting they seize on the "new club/company" bit in the letter and now focus on us being a new club ?

They are still trying to shift their scabby T-shirts too. :flipa:

I hate to say I was correct - but I was correct.

Reading the latest "bomb to shake Scottish football" I see they are still trying to push the discredited line that Rangers had an overdue tax bill so should not have gained a licence for European football. There is no expansion of that line. Instead there are paragraphs built around UEFA 's comment about new club/company.

To sum up, there "bomb" is actually a watery fart and it is absolutely clear that their whole Resolution 12 garbage is discredited once again and their only purpose in keeping the subject up for discussion is to sell surplus T-shirts to the unwary.

I have a cupboard full of "Have a nice day" shirts for just over 20 quid each. Anybody interested ? :seal:

  6.

Really, the press should be concentrating on the Resolution 12 bouncing bomb, about to blast Scottish fitba' to smithereens, at or about 6pm,

    tonight,

8pm and not a word yet.

  7. I've got to say, I'm disappointed at the views expressed in the statement. Maybe we are reading it wrong and what's being said is, we are back and will help Scottish football.

I'd have preferred, feck the lot of you, we're back.

  8. More fireless smoke from the enemies of the Club and the support, it seems.

I wonder who audits all the crowdfunded cash they generate?

The question of where the over 5 grand collected for their Guardian advert has gone was brought up a couple of days ago on one of their forums. They are so obsessed with all matters Rangers that the question went unanswered.

  9. Was it rangers fans though? Doleman was definitely at it yesterday with the accusations - tweeting email responses etc. Funnily enough he has now deleted his tweets.

Somebody called Davesleftpeg apparently started it off. I've seen allegations that he was a poster connected with another fans forum. He sounds like another undercover mank like James who spent ages posting as a Rangers fan before breaking cover and showing his true colours.

  10. We also played total amateurs too you'll remember...Zaire for example, mind we had a free kick against them outside the box and they lined their wall up, the ref blew his whistle for it to be taken and one of the Zaire defenders broke and slammed the ball up the park? Funny.

Our mistake in that one which I remember well because I was at the game lay with our manager.

Ormond was better than most we've had but he got that one disasterously wrong.

Never mind Bremners one yard miss. The Zaire game cost us.

  11. Joey Barton was trying to get an England cap in the English centre of midfield at a time when they had Lampard and Gerrard, to name but two.

Scott Brown has been playing for Scotland whilst up against.... I probably couldn't even tell you who, McArthur maybe ?

The comparisons are night and day.

Scott Brown has been gaining Scotland caps when his own domestic clubs fans wanted him dropped. That is to say nothing of the Scotland fans who see him as the waste of a clean jersey and simply cannot understand why he is still in the squad far less the captain.

The guy is a never was and will be remembered in the same vein as Rioch, Masson and other midfielders who got taken to the cleaners by similar soon to be forgotten nonentities.

  12. Can't say I know what the allegations are about him.

He's probably done more to spread the fact that there have been allegations by issuing statements like this on FF (and the John Brown one this morning) than the original posts on social media.

The mank sites have been full of dreadful allegations since yesterday. Help For Heroes have been diddled out of money and worse is being alleged.

I'm glad that Stan has commented and look forward to him chasing the scumbags.

  13. Maybe I wasn't clear enough when mentioning Whyte & Green boabie. I'm not calling you out. What I am saying is that we need to be very careful of having the "piss off quietly" mentality. I used them as examples of how that mentality can ultimately self-harm. I could have used SDM too in fairness.... Very few were holding him accountable, we were "pissing off quietly" for lack of better words. Again, if you can ignore the people I mentioned and see the POINT of people not raising concerns about how things have developed then you will see how that could lead to issues for the Club.

I do disagree that sloping off quietly is the right way to go about things - although will caveat that with the suggestion that there are two ways to be public about resignations - you can either be public because you still have a desire to see the project succeed - or you can resign looking to bring down the house of cards.

I know none of the 3 mentioned so have no idea which tact they were taking - but they DID raise concerns and those concerns SHOULD be dealt with by C1872 - even if just a denial. I bow to your greater knowledge of Donohoe, but although you believe he is no great loss, the mere fact he makes a statement on potentially serious matters mean they should be addressed.

    I can take that Craig.

Being honest, when I posted last night I had just returned home from a social evening and probably wasn't fully compos mentis and able to rationalise what was actually being said in the resignation letters so should maybe have kept my peace.

I'm actually saddened and heartily sick of those connected to our club continually feeding the liars and scum who earn a living attacking us. There are ways of doing things. Two of the three responsible did neither us, the club, C1872 or themselves any favours and should have known that.

Stamping their feet and wailing is not what I expect from someone elected to represent us.

Donohoe has acted exactly as I expected him to do. He's been doing it for years and only gained any small amount of credibility he had by not being scared to admit he is a Rangers supporter. His own tummy-tickling session with Whyte should have seen our support chase him.

  14. Aye ok pete.

    1. You clearly are missing the point in the reference to Whyte & Green. To say "feck off quietly" is the same, in essence, as saying "let Whyte/Green get on with their job, nothing to see here". Had everyone "fecked off quietly" we very well may have no club to call our own. The POINT of that is to say that we should be VERY careful about the "just go quietly" mentality, especially if by doing so you potentially hurt the club.

    2. The director resignation letters were not released generally or publicly until after the C1872 statement about them looking for self interest was made. The resignation letters didn't hit the public domain, at least to my knowledge, until after the C1872 statement was made. Am I wrong ?

    3. The members list IS a major issue as, from what I have read, it could be a breach of the Companies Act. And yes it was RF's members list. So yes it is their problem. But when you have a merged entity the merged entity then take responsibility for it. If you read at least one of the resignation letters they stated that they wanted to sort this out but it seemed that few cared about it. That is called poor governance. You don't simply continue with bad information and say "yeah but they were the ones that brought that bad information to us" - certainly not when the whole premise is fan unity.

    4. So now you are accusing people of not wishing to accept change and losing control - what do you know of ANY of those people ? Looks to me as if you have taken a stance against them simply for the sake of taking a stance. And yet you talk about ME saying "reading between the lines" and you then retorting that this means you "only read what you want to read". Seems you are believing only what you want to believe.

    5. There may have been some out to scuttle this from the beginning - however, I highly doubt it is ANY of those who just resigned. Why would they bother with going through the election process and sticking their head above the parapet only to try to be integral in dismantling the very organization that they were elected to the Board of. That would be a serious lack of fiduciary duty.

    6. RBR was NOT against it from the start. That simply isn't true. RBR was against the whole process being rushed. So, again, it appears you are putting words in people's mouths that simply aren't there.

And you say my post was crap

Craig, you are calling out the wrong person if you are going to use Whyte and Green as examples.

I was shouting the loudest about those two when all around were jumping for joy at their arrival and received lifetime bans from two forums for my troubles.

If you think I was wrong in what I posted then fair enough, we'll agree to disagree.

Although I said I knew little about the 3 who left, Donohue is one I do know about and he is absolutely no loss to anything connected with Rangers.

  15. Three statements saying feck all.

I don't know any of them and care even less. If they have something to say then how about sharing it with us lesser mortals. If not, why not feck off quietly ?

  16. I have no doubts about what CH has done in the past.

But considering the past few days and the continual cry for 'unity' - that was not an attempt to unite.

Anyway, if you don't like a person's opinion then that's your problem

As an outsider who is always looking for unity what always amazes me is how those with most to gain or lose always appear in a once in a blue moon moment rather than in any general discussion in any average day.

  17. Disagree.

Rangers had, say, 200 on the pitch and Hibs had, say, 5,000 on the pitch - and you think that arrests should be 50:50 ? Not for me - the vast majority of the disturbance took place by Hibs fans. You cant say "There were two teams, two sets of supporters and therefore we need to arrest the same from each side" - not when the disturbance took place primarily because of the actions of ONE set of fans.

Judicial integrity is nothing to do with being "even-handed" in the numbers you arrest. Judicial integrity is bringing to justice those that have broken the law, no matter what team they support.

I think Compos tongue was firmly in his cheek with the comment Craig. :seal:
