  1. ... unless someone takes him on straight away.Still don't get why we paid Goian (and Bocanegra) off when they got a club at the ready straight away? You would hope we are smarter than that now, despite paying Bell off (who was picked up somewhat later by ... a club which name deceives me just now). Likewise, you do wonder how much we actually pay him per week ... i.e. in reality.

I'd think any player leaving to earn less money elsewhere would be looking for a pay off to go.

  2. Recently the RoI players wore badges commemorating 1916 Easter Rising and the football authorities did not see it as political. So Fifa's policy is now in tatters through not being consistent. I think it would have been better if both our FA's had made it optional.

My grandfather was in WW1 and I always bought a poppy to commemorate that. Now I feel it has gradually year on year been made political; first with a 2 minute silence where it used to be one; then with the call to include veterans of recent wars such as Afghanistan and Iraq, so that buying a poppy meant you gave at least tacit support to those wars. I think it has lost the simple message of honouring the dead with the increased commercialisation - I believe you can buy a poppy for £40 made from Somme bullets.

Worst of all there is now an implied assumption that if you dont wear one you are somehow unpatriotic; I object to that.

I would gladly buy a white poppy but I never see anyone selling them.

I never bought a poppy when it was the Earl Haig fund.

  3. Is the soapdodger "Mince" still dining out on the proceeds of the gullible?

Even the manks couldn't put up with his nazi-minded stance on issues. He's still out there but, much like most of them, with no credibility.

  4. What was that one? PM please if posting is too controversial! :D

No bother Stu - some female poster , hoopygirl, on one of their sites a few years ago was in charge of collecting cash for another of their deluded schemes. The money went missing and she ended up in court.

  5. I wanted rid of him tbh, but if he knuckles down, improves his behavior and stops his twitter pish, who knows there may be a way back to the first team?

He was at his twitter pish as recently as last night mate.

I don't see it happening tbh.

  6. " Rangers have announced that midfielder Joey Barton "will return to full-time training" following a club imposed suspension.

The 34-year-old midfielder has been absent from the club since a training-ground row in the wake of September's 5-1 loss at Celtic Park.

With agent Eddy Jennings, he attended a club disciplinary hearing on Thursday.

Barton has stated repeatedly he wants to return and fight for his place, having joined from Burnley in May. "

  7. They've had a wee meltdown on their site now saying that "the whole of Scottish football should stand up to the corruption".

It really is massively hilarious stuff. It is the way they speak as if they are speaking for everyone in the world that makes it so funny. They really are so deluded. From what I'm reading now is that the full letter (which they've finally released) doesn't actually say that Rangers are a new club?

Here is the letter from UEFA -

As expected and previously posted, the manks have used "new club/company" as "proof" that Rangers are a new club. :54:

    They are now beyond delusion.

  8. I have missed this one I'm afraid. I do t take much notice of them at all, however this could be interesting. Has anyone got a link to a thread or can give a brief summary?

Basically one of the usual manks half-read UEFA legislation and came to the conclusion that the SFA should not have granted Rangers a licence to play in Europe last time we were there. They complained to the SFA who said everything had been fine at the time the licence was issued. The circumstances were then twisted and edited, sent to an expert who, unaware he'd not been fed all the facts, gave an opinion that the licence should not have been granted. The mank support then put forward a resolution [12] at their clubs agm. The club looked at it, saw the faults, but sent a letter to UEFA .

At this point the hoovering up of mugs money began. Those in charge of the money said there would be 2 adverts placed, one in a Swiss paper and one in the Grauniad in England. The Swiss one went ahead but the Guardian refused.

At this point those planning holidays or to have their houses redecorated said they'd received a reply from UEFA. Supposed extracts were published online. The full letter has never been seen. The extract gave then the bums rush saying that as Rangers had folded there was no point in looking into the matter as Rangers were banned from playing in Euro competition for at least 3 years anyhow. There was a line where the guy replying referred to Rangers "new club/company". Naturally this has been seized upon as UEFA saying we are not the same club. That kept their petty minds distracted on another feeding frenzy about a new club.

Where the money has gone or when the UEFA letter will be fully published hasn't been explained yet.

They were told by the more knowledgeable Rangers fans right at the start about the jiggery-pokery going on but continued to collect money anyhow. Even their expert backed down when presented with the FULL facts.

  9. The guys running this agenda really did take the sellik support for mugs. They used doctored information to have some closet expert express an opinion. Once he'd spoken they set up donate buttons all over the internet and the deluded fell for it. Well in excess, and nobody knows just how far of £11,000 was collected. They spent 5 grand, at the end of which they produced a few lines from an obviously doctored letter from UEFA. There was a promise to publish the letter in full. Meanwhile of course, the donate buttons and t-shirt sales continued.

Months later and there has been no sign of the letter nor any information of where all the mugs giro money was spent.

  10. Plenty of Scottish fans will be quite happy with this.

Put Scotland in the same sentence as England and huge irritation is guaranteed, feathers will be ruffled.

I fully expect some smart laddie to soon decide that wearing a poppy is anti-Scottish. And I fully expect a bandwagon to follow...........

In much the same way as a few numbskulls decided that waving a saltire at Ibrox meant I was a yes supporter ?

    There are bawheids everywhere mate.

  11. I wonder what will happen with the remaining over 6 Grand collected and last heard of "resting" in someones bank account. :flipa:

All that giro money donated only for some Borrheid bampot to go booking up a decent holiday.

  12. I'm obviously not condoning either instance i'm giving a personal opinion of how I feel about being caught up in either instance. Having experienced a situation where a rain of coins was incoming I have a greater fear of it than I do a seat which likely wont come as a barrage of seats and I would feel more confident of seeing a seat and fending it off so to speak.

When you have a coin barrage coming in you instinctively tend to look away from fear of getting one in the eye.

I've been to many many matches when there were coins, old large pennies mind you, bottles and cans hailing down on me on the way to, at the match and on the way home. It was the norm at one time.

If the pavement dancers, home and away want some sport I'd say go ahead and have your fun away from the ground. Launching anything at all into a mass is the work of cowards.
